The other dentist said I needed to replace all my gold crowns and one tooth looked bad and would probably require a root canal. I was suspicious and went to Dr Vladescu for a second opinion. She examined me and said she found nothing wrong. Sometimes, dentist's getting reimbursed by dental insurance are poorly paid and are looking for ways to make money. 2) I contacted Dr. Vladescu when a tooth was infected and causing extreme pain. I was told that insurance would not cover it because of a limitation related to the same teeth as a previous temporary tooth. I understand that insurance issues can happen, but patients should be given accurate information before committing to a major dental procedure. I feel that the communication and billing transparency in this situation were unacceptable.
