I've lived in Collingswood for 6 years and have had really terrible experiences with salons here…read more After getting frustrated with a 30 minute wait from my original appointment time at a salon near me, I opened my phone and called Dazzling Nails on Haddon. Nancy answered - can you get here in 15 mins? she said? 10 minutes later I walked into their little oasis. Lovely. Calm. CLEAN. I told her I loved Cat's eye nails but the other salons said it wouldn't look good on my short nails. One of her manicurists were working on my nails as we were all chatting. Nancy said - I can make it look beautiful - and she did. I've been coming here ever since. The techs are all fun conversational, know all their regulars by name, soon I was chatting with them other customers and it was lovely. Plus my nails have never looked better. Highly recommend!

Both my daughter and I were nicked during our pedicures badly enough to draw blood. My daughter who…read morehas trouble with ingrown now has a painful and irritated toe which we will have to get checked out by her doctor. I feel completely taken advantage of after paying $314 for two gel pedicures, a soak-off and hard gel French manicure for me, and Gel-X with designs for my daughter. Additionally, I was hit with additional fees that (despite what the business claims) was absolutely never disclosed beforehand, including $10 for "shape," $10 for "length," and $35 for the design. When I questioned these charges, the staff gave vague explanations and could not clearly tell me what the base Gel-X service actually includes if shape and length are both charged separately. What made the experience worse was the dismissive response when I questioned the bill. I was essentially told, "That's how we charge," and that other customers don't have an issue with it. That's not an acceptable response to a customer asking why she was charged fees that were never communicated. If a choice costs extra, that needs to be clearly disclosed before the service is performed -- not sprung on someone at checkout when it's too late to decline it. For $314, I expected exceptional service and transparent pricing. Instead, I left feeling completely taken advantage of. The undisclosed add-ons, inability to clearly explain the Gel-X pricing, dismissive response when I questioned the bill, and both of us leaving with bleeding toes made this an extremely disappointing experience. Beware of this salon - I absolutely would not return or recommend this salon.

She made an appointment for the following day. When she arrived, she was told that they forgot to write it down and she would have to come back. Although she was annoyed, she did return. They could've handled the situation much more appropriately by either bumping someone who took her spot or by offering her a discounted or better yet a free service. During the service my partner felt very rushed. Simply put, their response was not a very customer oriented one. She doesn't think she'll go back.

I had a gel removal, regular mani and pedicure, for $40 and had a nice relaxing experience. They…read morereally care for the health of your natural nails. They DO use liners for the pedicures, your own pad for the foot file which they toss after your use, had a nice hot stone and probably a 5min massage which was nice, all in the standard pedicure. Agreed they don't scrub/attack your feet but my feet are still softer and smoother than when I came in. The pedicure chairs look newer and clean. The removed my gel gently and the regular mani was nice and not rushed. They used these individually wrapped gloves with some sort of warmed gel to hydrate cuticles and hands which was nice and not sticky. They seem not to overbook as they turned people away but had a steady flow. Nice selection of polishes including the Essie longer wear and CND lines. No cheap brands or thinned down stuff. Cash will save you a few dollars too.
