1.5 yrs later a roman shade fell off the wall because it was improperly secured in the first place. When it fell a string broke. They agreed to come to reinstall the shade for free but when they discovered the broken string repair was billed at $125.00. BUT IT BROKE WHEN THE SHADE CAME OFF THE WALL! So if your shade falls off the wall after a year they will reinstall it on the wall but if it breaks while falling....it's on you. My sister needed motorized blackout shades for her 22nd floor L-shaped apartment. We met with representatives from three other companies before we decided to hire Roni from Alluring Window. He was very professional and a pleasure to work with. He took his time to show us different samples and answered all of our questions. He is extremely reliable and prompt when replying to e-mails, even ones that we sent him after regular business hours. Not only that, but he was able to beat all of his competitors' quotes. Once the shades we ordered were ready, he had to hold on to them for a while, because we were busy redoing some other things in the apartment. That wasn't a problem either. Roni was flexible when scheduling the installation. The installation specialist came on time and worked hard all day to provide us with the beautifully finished product. We reside in a upscale Gated Lake community with a beautiful view of the lake off of the Deck, Kitchen and Living area, Roni was the consultant for Window treatments. Initially the fabric options presented were beautiful and we agreed on the fabric for 4 window treatments. After 6 months with some alterations, multiple communications, and many follow-ups on my end,the window treatments were delivered . The disappointment begins with the hardware presented for the Deck sliding Door windows. Inexpensive cheap appearing hooks ,the Drape Hardware was not attractive , and the window treatment was hanging poorly after installation. Spoke to Roni regarding my dissatisfaction,he offered to send alternative choices via e-mail,he did and still not acceptable,after reviewing choices. Roni has never reached out since the day of installation,never attempted to create a satisfied customer outcome , never followed up to inquire would i consider changing the hardware. Since installation i have removed the very expensive Window Treatment and will never recommend Alluring Window in my very upscale community and beyond. We had collected estimates from other Hunter Douglass outlets but Roni delivered a level of attention to our needs that was not present with other salesmen. Initially Roni helped us pick out shades and shutters perfect for our condo. He listened to our ideas, fielded a hundred questions, educated us about the product and helped shaped our decision. He was never pushy, forced an upsell, or pressed us on time. In fact he came back a second time, before we ever committed to buying from him, just to make sure my partner would be happy with our choices. Although estimates from other "big box" stores were initially better than the quote from Alluring, Roni came down to a comparable price. Considering the customer service we had already received it was easy to lock our decision. Roni was very clear about the timelines for manufacturing and gave us a realistic estimate- 6 weeks- for installation. He periodically kept us updated during that process to let us know how it was moving along. He also came back on his own accord to measure and address concerns specific to the construction of our windows. Iinstallation came at about 7 weeks from purchase. Roni and one of his associates took great care during the installation and gave thorough instructions about our new coverings. I want to emphasize this point because it speaks volumes about the integrity of this business- our SALESMAN was present during the entire installation! How many companies take that kind of care from start to finish? I can't speak highly enough about our transaction. This is the kind of business that gives you hope for capitalism.
