Came here on a Sunday randomly.. I had planned on getting my old set taken off, getting a manicure and then getting a fresh set.. but my nails have not been without acrylics in MONTHS and as soon as my nails hit the air, I knew I needed to let them breathe. First off, the lady who took off my existing nails.. this was one of the most painful nail removal experiences that I had ever had. I gotta be so honest. I was wincing in pain, she was ripping off my real nail with it and all in all.. it was not pleasant at all. Like, please, I know soaking takes way more time but it is not nearly as painful. She did give me a nice manicure, cleaned up my cuticles, cut my nails and filed them. No real complaints on that front. When I told her I decided I did not want a fresh set, she kept trying to sell me on some sort of service, I know that that is how they make money but we both know that it is important to let the nails breathe! First time going to Allure!! I made an appt and only had to wait for a few mins to have Katie start on my nails. I got a fill and a few repairs. Katie was pleased, friendly and very good at her job! She was very efficient and fast and I walked out a happy customer. The salon looks very clean and the decor looked really nice. Parking was also super easy! Emma did a great job, taking time to get my nails just right, even re-doing a few nails that didn't look great and using another color that looked better. My friend got her first pedicure ever, and we made appointments for 2 on Saturday. However, there were 4 nail technicians for 8 customers...so we had to wait a bit. The interior is new and clean, though the massage chairs gave both me and my friend a really bad kink in our back that lasted for 2 days. Pedicure was decent, but I noticed he didn't paint it the best, with some missing spots on my toenails. He did try to sell us on the more deluxe pedicure but we were happy with the basic package. Definitely disappointed with my brief experience at Allure. Customer service was non-existent. Walked in for a pedicure with my sister and niece -- we were assigned chairs. After about 5 minutes of waiting, another group of three walked in for pedicures and were setup immediately: water, feet soaking, etc. We waited an additional 20 minutes in our chairs sans water and left. Not once were we advised that we would have to wait for the three people that walked in after us. Perhaps they had appointments, but the courteous action would have been to tell us, and then we could have decided whether to stay or go. This would have to be my go to Nail Shop. The shop is in the perfect location between work and on the way home. My recommended nail tech would be Tony. I haven't had anyone else touch my nails here. Yes, i'll warn you this is your typical "whatever you like I do for you" nail shop. so yea, they will be talking on their head set while they do your nails hunnay.. they will be speaking in their language and u won't know what they are saying.. and they may push u to get that.. "cristo gel?" But the end result is always worth the chaos.. I am a dedicated customer. Everyone at Allure has always made me and anyone i've brought feel welcomed. I was looking to get a pedicure and this place was near where I lived so I decided to give it a try. It's in a nice location and the inside was very clean. I was seated right away and overall the service was fairly quick. It's been a week and my polish is still going strong despite miles of running and sandal wear. Honestly I won't be going back to allure and it only gets 3 stars because I felt the staff were too pushy. I told the technician I wanted a regular pedicure, however she repeatedly asked me if I wanted to get gel nails or an eye brow wax. I continued to say no to the point where it was getting uncomfortable. Even after saying no, she kept trying to sell me on the gel. .....and I kept saying no. She tried up until the regular polish was on my nails and then she just seemed angry. Again the whole experience was a little uncomfortable, but they did do a good job on my nails. It didn't seem like anyone else was having this problem so it could have just been the one technician. read more

I had been going to Allure since February 2017. The technician I started with quit, so the owner started doing my nails. Tony did a nice job on my nails, but over time, I got more and more frustrated with him. I always made an appointment, but he was rarely on time and I had to wait as long as 30 minutes at times. It also took twice as long to get my nails done because he had to stop to answer the phones, set up appointments, call in additional technicians because he over-booked. I finally had enough last week when I went in for a mani/pedi and he hadn't put my appointment down and he wasn't there when I arrived. That was it for me! My time is valuable and I don't appreciate the inconsideration. His sister was actually rude to me when she told me I had to be wrong about the appointment! I reserved 10:30am appointments for my mom and I to get pedicures as an early Mother's Day gift. We were seated in the chairs after picking out our colors but waited an hour for someone to start our pedicures. Meanwhile our water got cold and our feet and toes turned pruny. We commented on the long wait but were offered no explanation as to why. It did not seem overly busy. Of note, two others with an 11:00am appointment walked out due to no service. We both felt rushed and the quality of our pedicures were subpar. When I kindly asked for a discount because of the long wait, I was told $2 off each pedicure. Very disappointing. Bad experience, girl made a mistake and to fix it offered to put color which I can't have on my nails. (Which is why I get French). So instead made the white very thick. Had to ask for a discount to which they only offered five dollars off (for mani and pedi) and turns out with the "five off" still charged me their original price. My friend and I came here for pedicures and had the worst experience. I never leave reviews but this time I have to. I had like four different people switch out my pedicure for some reason and each of them filed and cut cuticles, by the end I had a literal cut on my toe from them filing down to the skin. I had an excellent mani/pedi done by Stacy on Sunday. My only complaint is that I expect a mani/pedi to be a relaxing experience. I will not be returning here. The only reason I came is because I had a gift card and the reviews on Google were decent. The place was empty and the 2 people working were almost overly thankful to me for trying their nail salon. I am currently very pregnant and was looking for a relaxing pedicure and this was not it. She was very demanding with what she wanted me to do and kept ending her sentences with "help me". The foot rub was awful, it was just her running her hands up and down my foot while she looked at the tv. She cut my cuticles so short one is bleeding and the others just burn. One toenail is cut so short the top of my toe is throbbing and swollen. I also got gel which she was not careful with. It is all over my toes. While she was painting she was trying to scrape away the excess with her thumbnails which have now left my toes red and swollen. She didn't clean up her work either. 2 girls walked in as she was finishing and I almost told them don't bother sitting down, go elsewhere it was so bad. read more
