I had never had my nails done before coming here.. my sister said this was where she had her's done so I decided to give it a try. The first time I had mine done, the nail technician had to have put on around 7 coats of polish. They were Thick and I could feel them.. but they still lasted awhile and weren't uneven. Decided to try it again and this past time, I was super impressed.. the nail technician was very quick and skilled at what she did. She didn't put on any unnecessary coats of polish and I'm super happy with how they look. Guess it might depend on who you get when you come here. I never caught the name of the girl that did mine recently, but I'd request her every time if I knew her name. read more

Allure Nail Bar - Black matte nails. Love them!! - Nail Salons Near Me - Duluth, Georgia

Again... went back to give this place another shot. My friends SNS manicure chipped within TWO DAYS! I had FIVE nails chip within the first week with my last SNS manicure. To make matters worse, they weren't able to match my color. Seriously Allure - if you provide a service like SNS, learn how to deliver the appropriate results. I would not suggest using this salon for anything other than a basic gel manicure. Your money is best spent elsewhere. read more

I have gotten my nails done twice here (gel manicure/pedicure) and both times very well done. Good customer service. Easy to get in and out. Convenient location. Easy to relax here with a glass of wine and elegant, peaceful surroundings. They also don't pester you to get services you didn't come in for. read more

I went in with one of my daughters and spent 100. The man was rude and didn't follow directions. They charge extra for coffin shaped nails? No other salon in the area does this. Then my nails were all different sizes and looked horrible. They toldand is treated with me come back the next day. I even tried to give them another chance bringing my husband and other daughter. When we arrived they tried to make me sit with the same man. I asked for someone else. After he was done I tipped the new tech. and they tried to charge me for "a color change" You have to be kidding! How about I charge my hourly rate since I was inconvenienced and had to come back ?? HORRIBLE customer service. I will not be back so that is 200.00 every two weeks you lost. The best advertising to grow business is a happy customer that feels a value and is valued Same goes for the effect of customers not treated well ... read more

Very disappointed!! I got my sns done from them, and within two days gel came off, went to them and they fixed it,but again the same thing happened in 2days, so maybe the products that they use are not really good! I would not go there again read more

I liked Allure enough to go back a few times, but my biggest complaint is that they had football on last time I was there. I know plenty of people in the world love football. I'm not one of them. I haven't been back since. What's next? NASCAR? None of the other customers looked particularly interested in the game, either. read more

Excellent care from calling up for a same day appointment to the dedication of the technician. I will say this is my go to place for care. After years of searching I found my new home. read more

I have been to this salon three times, and I have never left completely satisfied. Their pedicures are spot-on, but the ladies who do hands are always pushing for you to do more, spend more. When I went in last week, I was expecting to spend $55. When I left, I had spent $80 plus a tip. $10 was charged to me without my even knowing I had agreed to it (they charge for gel polish removal even when you get gel polish put back on.) When I got home, I realized two of my toes were smudged. Within two days, the gel polish was literally peeling off my nails. That's never happened to me! I will not be returning to this salon. There are too many high-quality salons nearby that don't charge so much for their services. Be weary of extra charges when you get ready to pay! read more

I went here with my mom to have a mani pedi. I have only had one other in my life so I was not sure what to expect but had a very nice experience. I will be going back. My mom gets her nails done often, and said it was the best one she had ever had. She got a French manicure that looked fabulous. She wants to go back the next time she visits. read more

I won't go anywhere else for my nails.. I've seen a lot of different techs and always left happy! Thank you

Steven did an amazing job on my nails . He does fabulous work with the SNS gel awesome

The gel manicure I got from here lasted about a week and a half when I normally get 3-4. The pedicure was also bad. They didn't trim or clean my toenails and barely buffed my heels. It, unfortunately, wasn't worth the price. read more

I came here last Friday with a group to have manicures and pedicures for a wedding. The pedicure was fine, and I asked for an SNS manicure. It has been 6 days and I have 4 chipped nails and 1 entire nail came off. I am not rough on my hands at all during the day more than any other person who types on a computer, does laundry, cooks and showers. This was my first SNS experience and after showing a few friends my results, my SNS manicure did not match theirs at all. I am very disappointed and I wish I could get my money back because the entire experience was very expensive for an OTP nail salon. read more

Got my pedicure here done for the first time and I will say, it will be the last time. The woman created overlay marks with the nail polish by painting each layer one at a time and then waiting until each layer dried,AND everything was fine until she purposely created a hangnail but cutting the edge of my toenail and RIPPING IT OFF. I jumped and said OUCH and she said sorry but she proceeded to do the same with the OTHER TOE. It was sore and swollen for the whole week! It FREAKING HURTS. It's throbbing and looks swollen sso I will not be posting photos, but this is th first time ever of someone doing that! Who purposely creates a hangnail and RIPS IT OFF and I saw that she was putting in force. I paid $30 for a FREAKING hangnail and terrible quality work. read more

On a whim my aunt and I decided to go for a pedicure and this place came up first and right around the corner so we gave it a shot. What luck, it was fantastic! The facility is absolutely brand-new and very clean. They took walk-ins obviously, and we didn't have to wait even a minute. We Both really liked the mood of the salon, there was a lot of natural light with a little bit of additional light from really elegant light fixtures. They had a huge selection of great colors to choose from, and the two technicians that worked on each of us was absolutely lovely. They really listened to what we wanted and how we liked our pedicures and they did it exactly right and were very friendly the whole time. We Did the luxurious pedicure, which included hot stone massage. I love how they served up the aromatherapy masks and scrubs on these beautiful little leaf shaped trays from Thailand. A great touch! I don't live in Atlanta, but if I did I would definitely go here regularly. My aunt plans to go again soon. Thank you Allure! read more

So sad that Joanne is no longer there. Tom gives a really nice pedicure and is really nice. There's an older gentleman there that I advise you not to allow perform any services for you. One visit Tom was busy and this gentleman scraped my ankle with the callus remover during my pedicure. On another visit I cautiously scheduled appointment after Joanne left, I requested someone who could do designs. They have me the older gentleman, WORST GEL MANICURE EVER!! My nails were not even the same shape and the design was embarrassing. I had one nail that was starting to break, he placed part of a paper towel on it and set it with super glue, my nail was on fire!! I haven't returned and when I went to another nail salon, they were in dismay of how my nails looked. The salon itself is very nice and clean. read more

My nails are already chipping. It's only been 5 days since I went. I got sns and the lady cut my cuticle so much that it bled. She was rough with my hands read more

they did a ok job on my nails the lady who did them cut down a little too much even though she knew they were already short she cut and filed them more she was also very rough on my hands and kept pushing them down telling me to relax. they were also uneven some were more narrow and others were to thick and short. ( i asked for a medium short coffin full set) but the minute i stepped out the salon my nails began to chip and get a rough bumpy texture on them. i tried my best not to mess with them and even put the air in my car higher so they could still dry even though i was in the salon for another 15-20 minutes waiting for them to completely dry. im also a student and i'm in pottery i was told to get them removed so i could work better with the clay. while removing them with the old acetone and cotton ball method i notice my nails were filed down wayyyy to much and were split in the middle. my nails are bruised, burn, and hurt and are very unhealthy :(. another thing i didn't really like was there prices. there pretty over priced and do a "ok" job my nails looked cute for a while but they didn't last for long. anyways save your time and money and go somewhere where they have a better service, patience, and prices trust me there's a lot more better salons out there! read more

I have been coming here for years, since they opened. Any other day I would have given them more stars but today was not the case. The male technician, who usually does a great job and does my nails from time to time, really did something today that was unsanitary. While trimming my cuticles, he stopped and clipped a piece of dry skin from his finger and then tried to continue trimming my cuticles. YUCK! Can you say unprofessional and unsanitary! I immediately fussed him out about it and stopped him from using the cuticle nippers on me. I was in total shock! He tried to laugh it off but could tell that I was upset. This place is usually very sanitary. I am not sure if because I have been coming here for years that he got too comfortable with me and took my business for granted but I was not amused and was very angry. I will not be returning. And did I mention that another technician, two seats down, was filing her toe nails at her station. I guess I will have to find a new nail salon. read more

This salon services clients based on size of order not based on the time they come in. I needed pedicure and basic manicure. I used to come here all the time and get SNS. I've recently switched back to gel nails because the powder nails were starting to cause irritation regardless of which brand I used. In an attempt to "up-sell" me, the lady at the front desk told me that I cannot do tips with gel nails, which is a LIE as I have had that done several times at other locations. This is not a weird request. This was her attempt to upsale me. Well, that was a fail. This wasn't an example of me not wanting to spend the money, it was an example of thinking you can make an extra $10 off of an upsale, rather than caring about your returning customer; who will not be back. I would have paid for a higher level pedicure had I not been lied to about the gel nails. read more

Men's pedi cost more even though less services were performed. A basic doesn't cover what other places does. Constantly trying to up sell you while you were having the services performed. The drimmel and other devices used that were kept in a tackle box were dirty and dusty. read more

usually this place does great with my nails, but today i wanted to take my SNS nails off and i made sure they knew that i had a crack on my nail. they were hasty and bot careful at all, and my nail lady broke two of my nails and made both bleed. it was a painful experience and everyone saw my bleeding nails and they did nothing to compensate me bleeding. attempted to re glue fake nails. gave me some bandaids and wrapped it around and that was it. they still made me pay. but u dont deserve a tip and i will never go back. read more

I am very disappointed in the lady who did my waxing. I got my lip and chin waxed and when I came home, I realized she had gotten wax all in my hair, on my neck, on my shirt and my jacket. I usually go to bare next door, but my lady wasn't available and I was in a bind. read more

Recently moved to the area and have been looking for a great nail salon- clean, good service, massage, etc. The mani and pedi I had today is by far the best I have ever had! This will definitely be my go to place now. read more

Don't remember the young man who serviced me BUT!!!, he was awesome. Enjoyed the Wine!

Never Again! I get pedicures every other week. My regular lady was on vacation last year when Allure opened so I gave them a shot. I asked for the most expensive pedicure because she said they rub your feet a long time. Well the tech I had was running around the salon and on her cell phone far longer than she spent rubbing my feet. I would say a whole 5 minutes was spent rubbing. She didn't even trim the cuticles and they needed it and the polish job was TERRIBLE. After about maybe 25 minutes she said she was done. I told the manager on duty but they didn't seem to care in the least. Will never go back and will tell as many people as I can to avoid this place too. read more

I've been here a couple of times and the first time was amazing! Allure is a bit more expensive than the place I typically go, but it's much closer to my house so it's much more convenient. The first time I gave it a try, I was thrilled - very worth the extra $5 (more than my usual place) for an SNS manicure. My nail tech went above and beyond and finished off th SNS with a massage, and they got me in super quick even though there was a wait. I immediately decided to change to Allure and come back here every time. The second time I came, I was excited that there wasn't a wait and I got right in. I had a different nail tech, but she seemed very nice and ready to go. I picked a color (they must have 80+ SNS colors; which is much more than most salons I have tried) and sat down. They were very slow and therefor she didn't have a need to rush - however she did. And as appreciative as I was for her help in getting me in and out, the job looked rushed and although she seemed to realize it, she didn't care to fix it (several large smudges on my thumb nail and Uneven color on other nails). When I'm paying $40 for a nice manicure, I expect close to perfect results and this was far from it. I'm not one to complain or give up another hour of my day to have it redone (if that would have been offered), but I was extremely disappointed and will be questioning whether I'll be coming back in the future. read more
