The installation was very professional; they had to run some new lines through my garage, but everything they ran was tied up and tucked away neatly. I had the Genie DVR installed, and Dan (owner) sat down with my wife for about 10 minutes explaining all of the features of the remote, DVR service, and DirecTV offerings. All-in-all, it was the best installation experience I've had from any provider. The DirecTV service itself is working great right now as well.

The account was paid in full and up to date. The first call frustrated my husband so badly he just gave up and hung up. We called back again this time prepaired to stay on as long as needed to get the service canceled. THE CALL LASTED ALMOST 3 HOURS AND THEY STILL WOULDNT CANCEL!!!! We received annother bill so we wrote on it that we called to cancel and didn't owe anything. After 2 months we got another bill deducting one month. Then we received an email with return labels for the equipment. Now they have turned the account over to a collection agency for the month after we called to cancel. We are disputing!

The rep said if we choose to come back I could for $30! Now you offer that. I'm currently trying to return my equipment. I'm 3rd in line. A rep told me it would be faster if I returned at a UPS store. For the time it took him to explain that, my equipment could have been scanned and I would have been on my way. I won't be back.

Spectrum (Charter) has steadily increased my monthly bill, while at the same time decreasing my…read moreinternet speeds, for the past couple years. They promise 100 Mpbs, but I haven't gotten that in a long time (see attached picture for current speed, and sometimes it's worse that that). The increasing slowness, in addition to the prices going through the roof (from $49.99 to $79.99!) means I'll be switching to a competitor next week, who charges less for faster speeds. What's sad is I know other people who live very close to me and use Spectrum, who pay $79.99 but get Gigabit speeds! It's criminal to charge me the same amount for far slower speeds.
