We've walked by it many times on previous visits and tried it Sunday on a whim. We walked in and grabbed a couple of seats at the bar and ordered Bloody Marrys. They were good. Liked the garnish with olives and a peppercini. Did not care for the topper. A dried candy wrapped around a straw called a Mega Flechazos. That was a new one on me. Here is what Google had to say about it: "Flechazos" is also the name for popular Mexican tamarind candies, known for their tangy, sweet, and spicy flavor. I ordered a beef burrito with red sauce. It came with brown beans and pozole. The burrito was excellent. Great flavor. Jan ordered the Carne Adovada plate. It's pork marinated in red Chili's. It was excellent. I took a bite of it and was blow away. It was amazing. The service was excellent. Aden was our server and bartender. It's a fun venue with a happening vibe.

They also do a wicked Frito pie, another local fave. Although you should be warned: Green chile are highly addictive and you will be back. In fact it is their New Mexican red and green chile recipes that go toe-to-toe with mama's best, and are worthy fare for local or tourist alike. New Mexico red may be a more acquired taste for the East Coast curious. Try the green if you spend most of your days East of the Pecos.

So McDonald's also allowed my daughters to get a late night snack. Well, late night for them - it was about 9:30 PM on 10/6/2023. This place was well-lit in the parking lot. There was a nice long drive-thru area, but like I mentioned we needed to use the restroom. We ordered. The guy at the counter was nice, but lacked patience. Then he said he had to "buzz" us into the women's restroom. That kind of place, huh? Nah, I'll pass on this place due to lack of cleanliness and they screwed up our seeminly simple order. So nah.

It was essentially a Fritos "haystack "with your choice of protein. We shared a blue corn and pine nut pancake as an appetizer. It was a bit more dense than a regular pancake but still tasty . The trash had been changed and everything was well maintained. It's bright, well situated and I felt safe. The clerk was pleasant and their was no line inside. As I said in the beginning, my experience was limited and brief but nothing but good vibes here. I was in and out in ten minutes.
