My family has been with State Farm for as long as I can remember, when I moved to NC I needed an…read moreagent, Jeff and his office were the closet to me and unfortunately will be my last State Farm Office. His team is incredibly unhelpful when it comes to doing things. I have had my insurance policy changed, and canceled due to this office not just once but three times. They took Comp and Collision off of my policy without notifying me, and I would never have known because they stopped sending me bills (which was why my policy kept getting canceled). When I asked why I wasn't notified of the change, cancelation, and nonpayment status towards my bill they said "Phone calls are really just a courtesy and not a requirement, we don't have to inform you if your service is going to be canceled due to an unpaid bill." When I asked to speak to Jeff about this situation I was informed that "Jeff doesn't deal with clients, he prefers to let his Associates do the talking, but I'll be glad to inform him of the situation." I was very diligent about my payments and calling to double check when my payments were due, as I said my bills were not making it to me, which they had been informed of as well. Then I received a letter in the mail from the DMV informing me that I was in delinquent status for not having insurance. Of course I thought, how could this be, I've been calling and paying my bills. Unfortunately, I was told an incorrect date and my policy had been canceled due to nonpayment. For the second time I was thrown under the bus by this office. I try to be as polite and understanding as possible, I go in and explain the situation, I ask them to do me a favor and please try to inform me if my payment hasn't been made. Again, I informed them of the mailing situation. I was informed that indeed "I personally called both numbers on the account and left multiple messages." Which I would have gotten on both of the cellphones related to the account. Of course, I didn't actually get these calls or messages as I have their number saved to my phone as Jeff Stephenson's State Farm. Not a missed call nor a message. After sending Jeff an email personally about the situation, with well documented notes I was greeted almost three weeks later with a reply. "I have passed your information off to one of my associates and I definitely hope this doesn't happen again." Well Jeff don't worry, it won't, because as soon as I can I'm getting new insurance through another company. Sorry that your office as soiled State Farm's neighborly name for me and my family.

I had 2 other people on my policy that I needed removed. Brian however refused to take them off my policy said they had to be on their parents policies (which wasn't an available option) and offered me no assistance on how to fix my situation. Every hoop he gave me to get them off I jumped through and every time I did he came up with another excuse to not let them off (I'm guessing because it significantly dropped my premium and he didn't want to give up that $$) With that being said I called Progressive myself, the woman on the line there told me every thing he said was a lie and that unless you are under investigation on a claim you can add or remove people at any time. So the woman there took the other 2 people off and switched my agent!!

When that policy was ending, I shopped around and was contacted by Cameron. He was able to provide me with MORE coverage for LESS money than what I was originally paying. He maintained communication with me for approximately 2 months in order to ensure that I chose the best policy available. When it came time to actually enroll in the policy, he was just as helpful and it was a quick and easy process. Regardless of the better price that Cameron was able to secure for me, I will most likely continue to do business with Cameron due to his helpfulness and candor throughout the entire process.

We went inside and there were like 3 people on the phones. Once 1 guy was done, he asked us what we needed & he got Sam for us. Sam was friendly and patient. My fiancé had A LOT of questions & Sam provided his opinion on each scenario. The issue I had was that I saw my fiancé's EX-WIFE's information on the screen & that caused a bit of an issue because Sam said he was giving a discount based on 2 drivers when there would only be 1! I let him talk until he referred to me by the ex's name. How annoying! You really shouldn't assume, and my fiancé almost got embarrassed by Sam's mistake. I didn't know what they had been talking about on the phone. I just knew that they've been divorced for years and he shouldn't be calling me her name. Also, my fiancé said he never had a policy with her, so he didn't understand why her information would be on the same screen with him as if they were together. I guess it came from some insurance background report Sam pulled. Outside of that mistake, Sam was easy to deal with. The office was a bit dirty and dusty though, which was pretty gross. There were huge cobwebs in the waiting area & his desk was covered with dust. He wasn't professionally dressed either & it looked like he rolled out of bed and came to work. I guess it's cool if his boss allows it. They still need to clean!!! I have my own insurance, so this was the choice of my fiancé. So far, he's cool with the service.

Here at home in CA she…read moreused to pay $50/month ($300 for a 6 months premium) so you can imagine my surprise when she told me she got Geico and her 6 months premium was $2,034!!?? You bet a dropped everything and started getting quotes from different insurance companies in NC. I was shocked to see that almost all of them quoted me about the same! E-surance offered a bit less, around $1,600. Originally State Farm didn't even give me a quote online! To be honest, the only reason I even check them was to see how much they will quote me (considering the fact they are one of the most expensive ones out there) but I assumed the reason I didn't even get a quote was because the number was so high it couldn't even fit on the screen. Anyway, the very next day I got an e-mail from Daniel Price (one of the agents working in this office) apologizing that their system didn't give me a quote and offered to help me. By then I was so frustrated with those high numbers that I didn't want to even think about insurance agents. To me they all looked bad! So I basically sent him a border line rude e-mail, explaining the situation and telling him that if he can't beat E-surance's $1,600 he better not waste my time. He not only managed to deal with a nasty upset mother but also managed to offer a better quote! Very patient, very understanding and very knowledgeable! I have no idea who that unhappy person before me talked to, but I can't say a bad word about Daniel! In fact, I have only good things to say! He answered ALL of my questions (and you can bet I had a TON!). He not only answered them, but he did it in a timely manner! He also explained very patiently to me why her rates were so high (darn NC! You people are nuts to live there with politicians like that!). He treated me like a human (something insurance agents don't generally do). Let alone he offered the best quote! And did not ask for half the policy in advance! My daughter is making monthly payments. He's been also very helpful with the questions I had about the insurance laws in NC. My daughter got charged some crappy fee cancelling her Geico insurance. Daniel helped with that too even though it wasn't his business! Yeah, I like him. I feel my daughter is being well taken care of. I'll update this review as time goes by and I have a bit more to say about this office but so far I am beyond satisfied with the service provided! Wish all insurance agents were like him! Saved big bucks with different insurance company. Nationwide entered the date of insurance change wrong (whose typo ? doesn't matter). The DMV said I had a lapse in my insurance. It took this office several weeks to correct it. The DMV threatened to take my plates and at the 11th hour after I called the corporate office repeatedly, it was finally escalated. The local office should have escalated it after the first week. It was finally corrected, I believe more because of what I did than what they did. So more than once I was frustrated by slow weak action.
