It was nice for a change to walk in an actual office, and meet an actual agent with actual live team of workers. No more having to deal with a company that has a 1-800 mainland number having to talk with over the phone. It was a much needed change to switch, as Brandon analyzed our previous home policy with our previous insurance carrier and felt it was under insured. Although he increased the coverage, the premium was just about the same. Additionally, not needing to deal with a 3rd party company for the hurricane coverage as State Farm was able to cover it as well. As for our auto, unbelievable savings. Brandon gave my son a great discount on my his classic car since he almost never drives it. We have a great discount on our other auto's using the Drive Safe & Save App. The Bluetooth beacon was easy to connect to the State Farm Drive Safe App, and the beacon is left in the car to monitor our driving such as: speeding, hard breaking, fast cornering distracted driving. The app will rate your driving performance in each category, you can check on your score. My son fussed a bit about needing to have it in his other car, but when I suggested he pay his own policy, he was okay with it. The life insurance process took a while, but Brandon kept in touch every step of the way. He explained what would be happening next etc. Mister and I had the choice of doing either a phone interview or an on-line interview and the processor was so friendly and patient! I got everything ready in advance, such as my medical history, medications, doctors information etc. Ultimately, I did not need to take a blood exam because they spoke directly with my physician for the information to make a final decision! Brandon and his staff is so diligent, super duper friendly Brandon is straight up and professional. When leaving either a telephone message or sending Brandon an email, he responds right away! To my horror, I was paying over $2000 for hurricane and homeowners insurance so I asked Amie Kobayashi for a quote. Amie didn't just give me a quote. First, she reviewed my current policies then explained them to me. I'm so grateful she did that because that's when I discovered my homeowners policy was underinsured. Amie explained that the cost of building and renovating a house has increased and my policy was purchased over 10 years ago so I need to increase my coverage according to the current price price of home building and remodeling. But here's the most amazing part. She didn't try to sell me a new homeowners policy and instead advised me to talk to my agent about increasing my coverage. Then we discussed my needs and concerns for a hurricane policy and she gave me a quote. Amie's hurricane policy is saving me about $1,200 a year, that's $100 a month! It sounded too good to be true so I asked a lot of questions and she answered them patiently. Best of all, I didn't feel pressured into buying a policy from her. I was so happy with Amie's honesty, expertise and patience, I wanted to switch ALL my policies over to her. You won't believe what happened next. Then in 2021, with their encouragement, I opted to augment my life insurance with a policy from State Farm. It has been convenient for me having the monthly premiums consolidated and charged to my credit card. Throughout, KC Balboa has been very helpful and patient. Often, when I had to contact the office in the past, it was because my landlord at the time was requesting a timely response from me. Recently, when my renters insurance was coming up for renewal, I was surprised and pleased that Mr. Miyashita's office had proactively sent a copy of my updated policy to my landlord. I didn't need to request that they do this.

I had been waiting for 3 hours! I had called AAA and was routed to an AI (I hate these things) generated texts ... do you want a STATUS? do you want to CANCEL request for a tow, or do you want an AGENT? I had waited for 3 hours! I called O'Sung Towing LLC and was told they provide 24 hour service; OMG, this is a AAA contractor and they represent AAA. We are 40 year members of AAA! This fact did not impress the AI or human Josh, or Lovye or Christine with AAA that I had been waiting for 3 hours and the fact that as a senior citizen, my request for a tow was disregarded as a insignificant. AAA wanted me to CANCEL my request for a tow and risk waiting 24 hours as their contractor O'Sung Towing LLC prides themselves to service AAA members, without regard to being members for 40 years! What is their purpose for existence! I should have called GEICO at the beginning! As a result, I am cancelling our 40 years membership with the nationwide known AAA.
