They arranged to have Enterprise Car Rental in Alameda pick me up at Fix Auto and set me up with a rental car during the duration of the repair process. It took a month to get insurance approval for the repair, and to get the parts needed. But I was kept updated, by Jose on the process. When a glitch occurred re: extending the rental car lease, Jose handled that with the insurance company. When he came to pick it up after the repair, he walked in on the office woman talking to the male owner about how they overcharged me the first time. It sucks to get into a fender bender and see the damage on your car. I opted for Crash Champions as I was familiar with their location having driven by many times. AAA helped me make an appointment on a Monday morning for them to evaluate the damage. On the Monday morning, I met with Miguel, estimator, who took pics of the damage and wrote his estimate. He said he can order the parts today and I can leave my car. Didn't expect that. He said the damage was cosmetic and the car should be repaired in 3-4 days. I said I'll come back early afternoon with a friend so I can have a ride home. So I dropped off the car in the afternoon. I received a call from Miguel Friday afternoon that the car was ready for pickup. Since I was in the City and I couldn't get back before they closed at 5pm, he said I could pick it up on Saturday before 2pm. When I picked up the car, Miguel said Dinah, the office receptionist, would send me a link to pay my deductible. She called two days later and said there was a problem sending the payment link and I made the payment over the phone. It was a smooth process to getting my car repaired here. Miguel was knowledgeable and got my car repaired efficiently. The car looks as good as new. Both he and Dinah were friendly and made the process stress free.
