We went to Allred's for our anniversary and had a great experience! The food was absolutely incredible and so was the service. The views were stunning, on top of everything else. We will be back!

A+ for views! But food was a C-. My husband ordered an expensive steak and ask for it rare. When the steak arrived it was medium/well. When you spend over $500 for a meal your food should come out how you asked for it cooked. My husband let the waiter know and he made no options on rectifying the problem. So with that...they get a D- for service.

Apres Hour from 3-5 was incredible after an afternoon ice skating in Mountain Village. The food and drinks were great. They were super accommodating to our kiddo and she was able to get a cheeseburger & fries. The view cannot be beat. Such a great spot in the beautiful mountains.

Great restaurant and unbeatable location requiring a ski gondola ride up to enter! Got there right when they opened @4:45 (small secret!) and got the best table with total panoramic view of Telluride and the mountains beyond. Food was authentic cuisine prepared by a team of chefs/cooks that were not hidden behind a wall but visible to all as they did their magic in the rear of the main restaurant seating room. Service was perfectly timed as were timings of bringing out the meals. Due to popularity they state a two hour table limit but we finished in less than that without feeling any sort of pressure to leave at any point. They are currently using a 3-course price fix menu but within that many great choices. Definitely worth a visit when you're in the area.

Allred's is an experience in itself because of the gondola that you have to take to get there! This restaurant sits on the ski mountain and the only way to get there is it travel by gondola. The atmosphere is so nice with the large entrance doors to the live music. We went at night and did not get to see the view from the top which was the only downfall of going for dinner. I'd recommend to go during the day or early dinner to take advantage of the view! The food was service were good, but not great. I'd say 8.5/10. The lamb shanks were a little dry and did not have that wow factor, although highly recommended by my service. The $200+ steak that my boyfriend got was a large portion, but a little bland. The desserts that we got were amazing though!!

This is a fantastic restaurant with impeccable service and a gorgeous view of the Telluride valley below. It is a short gondola ride from either Telluride or Mountain Village and the meal and the service are worth every cent. The menu consists of a "three course tasting menu" ($89 in October 2022) with numerous selections to fulfill everyone's taste buds. We started off with the mixed berry salad and the steamed pei mussels. The salad was made up of mixed greens and berries, goat cheese and pecans over a blackberry vinaigrette balsamic dressing. The mussels were served in a garlic-white wine broth with heirloom cherry tomatoes and a grilled baguette. The broth was amazing, and we sopped it up with the fresh baked bread at the table. For the second course, we all tried different items. We had the Alaskan Halibut (with olive oil marble potatoes and asparagus; light and flavorful!), the Beef Tenderloin and seared Sea Scallops (with crispy marble potatoes and broccoli, cooked perfectly) and the Elk Loin (marinated in a juniper-bourbon mixture with butternut squash risotto; amazing). It was definitely the best meal we had during out stay! For the third and final course, we chose three different desserts. The Creme Brulee, the Chocolate Mousse Cake and the Vegan Cheesecake. All were perfect compliments to the end of the meals and the Vegan Blueberry Cheesecake was an absolute surprise and an exceptional treat! The highest compliment goes to our server, Casey, who was professional, well-versed in the entire menu and a great conversationist. She did an outstanding job of keeping us entertained and giving us the appropriate amount of space to enjoy our three-course experience. Kudos to all!!

Amazing views and service. Food was well made and wine selection was extensive. A must go to when in Telluride!

The inside of the restaurant is warm and cozy. The outside has beautiful fire pit seating. We sat inside. Our server Reka was professional and attentive. Very knowledgeable about the menu and what options were available. Her assistant, An, was so sweet and friendly. He always had a smile on his face and even offered to take our photo when I pulled out my phone. The table was beautifully appointed. Every item we ordered was delicious. We started with the Cheddar Biscuits- grilled benton's bacon, pimento cheese, pickled onion. Very tasty. I ordered the king trumpet pasta and added chicken. The chicken was tender and the pasta dish had good flavor. My husband ordered the salmon with Risotto. He orders salmon quite often and said this was one of the best salmon dishes he has ever eaten. Our friends ordered the shorts ribs as well as a salad and added chicken. Both really enjoyed their meals. I would say they could have done a better job with the martini. It wasn't very cold and not filled to the rim. The old fashions were okay as well. Overall we enjoyed dining here. It's beautiful and our service was excellent.

The decor is both elegant and cozy, perfect for an upscale mountain resort town. Service was first rate and the food was incredible. My wine was delicious as was my husband's Old Fashioned. I ordered oysters, octopus (after having a bite of my husband's), and the Branzino which they filleted (offered the choice, whole fish or filleted.) My husband had the salmon. Though neither of us considered ourselves butterscotch lovers, we ordered the dessert which was the server's favorite and we like to try new flavors and interpretations. Guess what? It was amazing as well. I guess we are butterscotch people. :) I'll eat here again as we're definitely returning to Telluride.

Outdoor, inside and banquet dining booths are all seating arrangements available in this quaint and minimalist setting. Happy hour selections are available along with small plates or hearty servings. Reservations were required due to the Film Festival crowds. The menu is divided into crudo, small shares, from the field and mains. We started with the fried green tomatoes with crab escabeche, lemon-caper aioli, green olive, pimenton oil and pickled celery. A delicious flavor with a hint of sour and beautifully crisp fried tomatoes. The shaved fennel and grape salad contained spinach, whipped goat cheese, grapefruit slices, almonds and a honey vinegarette. The flavor was a bit bland and needed more fennel. The roasted cauliflower with smoked paprika, pistachio dukkah, lemon and green olive tampanade. The pistachio dukkah and olive tampanade was unique and refreshing. Our final selection was the prawn skillet with garlic, pimenton delicious la vera, guindilla peppers, sherry reduction and toast points. A simple but delightful dish with an incredible sauce. Again, more toasted points for the sauces would of been perfect, but still a memorable dish. Even though we had an early seating, the restaurant was fairly busy. The fried green tomatoes, prawn skillet and roasted cauliflower were delightful and flavor packed. Side Work provides an unique option to the busy Telluride dining scene. Off the beaten path of Main Street, they hold their own. Coupling the different selections and size with good flavors warrants Side Work being on the Telluride good haunts. Please give Side Work, a new addition to Telluride food scene, a chance with your dining dollars.
