Aside from that, the inside of this store is pretty nasty, and could really use a deep-cleaning. In addition, while the front door says that they should be closed for lunch at 1:00 PM, they're often closed before that, making it inconvenient for potential customers.

I have nothing but positive memories at Corona Ice. This was my first job at 13 years old; then…read moreplus I lived down the street. Sal was the owner and a fierce leader - very old school but I learned a lot from him and met an amazing team working there. @JackM - Corona Ice sold Ice Cubes to Grocery Stores, Bodegas, Restaurants, Airports and of course the Block Ice for festivals, events and the piragua guys on the street (shaved ice drinks). May the deceased owner of this place - Sal RIP. He later passed on the business to his wife.

I grew up about 300 feet from Corona Ice Co. and couldn't tell you with any confidence exactly what…read morekind of business it is, or what they sell there. When I was very young I never probed the plausibility of an "ice store" very deeply. Though ice was something we could all make for ourselves in reasonably adequate quantities at home, and every bodega had all the ten-pound bags of the stuff you could carry, Corona Ice. Co existed. Why? By the time I was a teenager I appreciated that ice was something you needed more of on special occasions. And thus the implication became that Corona, Queens had to be a place where there were parties going on all the time. The problem with that, though, was that you never saw anybody walking out with any ice. As a matter of fact, you never saw very much at all of whatever was going on inside. As you can see from the picture I uploaded, it's rather inscrutable from the outside. I never once set foot inside, nor, even upon extended reflection, can I recall ever speaking with anyone who had. For being a true mystery, and for persisting unchanged through the decades, I salute you, Corona Ice Co, whatever you are.

I got a few quotes from near by places but they seemed astronomically high and all I wanted was a simple screen repair, especially because I was leaving to Europe in a couple of days. I put out project request via Yelp and that's when I came across Trufyx - and to be quite honest, I'm really happy I did. Their price was fair for the model of my phone. They came to my apartment and had one of their representatives take my phone and fixed it in under 15 minutes, and I had my phone back good as new. My only feedback is the screen used isn't an Apple screen so I did get a notification stating "this device was repaired not using an Apple product" but I didn't particularly care for that because I know I could have gone to Apple for their repair services but the price didn't align with my budget.

The front office is on the corner of the street and there's only street parking there. I was able to find a spot right away the first time I was there. Very nice staff here. I didn't catch her name but the person who showed us the available spaces and got the paperwork filled out was very nice and accommodating. Between looking at the lockers and signing up was less than 30 minutes. Don't forget to bring a lock or you will need to buy one there. They have supplies at the front desk like, locks(only key ones), boxes, tape etc, your basic moving supplies. You get a discount once you rent a locker here. The storage facility itself is big. Big enough to drive in. You can either walk in thru the front office or drive in thru the rear. Both ways, you just punch in your code and your good to go. There are lockers of all sizes. Small garages to little lockers. I was able to find a locker suitable for what I needed. There is also the option of transferring lockers if you need to upgrade or downgrade. All of the rentals are month to month.

One day I came to check on my stuff and I could smell the musty mold or whatever smell throughout the hallway. My relative who was with me smelled it too. I had previously complained to management that my stuff had this smell and that day I got one of the employees to come to the hallway. He FAKED not smelling the musty smell. Denied there was a problem when there was. The problem started after Super Storm Sandy. I moved my stuff to a different Stop & Stor location where I have much better service. When I moved my stuff out I could see water marks on my boxes. I asked if there had been any floods. The employees denied it. But the evidence was there on the boxes. I believe there was some flooding and that caused the musty smell on the first floor.
