The guy saw my husband whip out his notepad with his calculations and that was clearly enough for him to take our bags and give us cash. I can not say they will do that for everyone and they may get upset if people read this and show up like we did but I don't care....they are professional and have always been nice on the phone and in person. One thing I will say is that you may find some less than fortunate people turning in bottles as well but don't be put off, they don't seem to bother anyone and look to be regulars. We recently had tons of bottles accumulated in our basement and thought it would be such a pain to bring down there until I remembered seeing on their site they had pick ups for certain amounts. I called and asked what the minimum pick up amount was. I scheduled it and my husband handled everything with them. He said they were very cool and friendly, helped him with the bottles and handed him the cash and receipt. I enjoy working with this company and there is nothing better than recycling and getting paid for it! So now that summer is here and we are drinking more and more water, why not recycle for cash instead of just tossing them away :)

At first I thought the guy couldn't make up his mind on where I needed to pull the car over in the lot. I didn't realize I was driving on and off the weigh station. I called around 8am to try to get rid of some recycling items I had (a few printers, not all of which were broken, and some keyboards). He gave me a reasonable price to travel to Staten Island (the toll here is $16(!) and he charged me $30 for gas and tolls. This was very reasonable, and he was very fast (picking up within a couple of hours), so very reliable. The best part for me is that he will fix the broken printers if possible and give them a new life. This is where the name comes from, upcycling! Even better than recycling. Unlike taking them to a store where they may end up in a landfill or stacked in a yard in another country, they will be given a new life instead. He was also friendly and reliable, in addition to the aforementioned reasonable cost. I would highly recommend this business.

I hired movers through a person named Eddie, but the two worker he sent, Ricky and Sam(Eddie said his cousin), were completely unqualified and had no moving experience whatsoever. They arrived over 40minutes late, immediately asked for water, took a break before even starting, and then wasted time smoking, going to a deli, talking private phone call, and disappearing for long periods. Despite my belongings being ready for transport at 8am, they took over five hours just for simple studio apartment for 2 miles move. I paid 500$ and tip 50$ in cash. yet still failed to complete the job. my roommate and I had to finish moving the remaining items our selves. This "Eddie" was taxed me extra 150$, when I'm leaving old place to get train. he said that my box has over 34. (noway) This number is not correct, , I bought just 30 small "11inch" boxes at homedepot. less 30boxes. They have already some stuffs in their Van, so they couldn't stuffed in Van, that their mess. I have pictures. Upon returning to my old apartment, I discovered that they had left behind 4 boxes and table top dresser on the sidewalk. Worse my antique bed frames completely broken, making unusable, so I had to throw it away. They transported my upright fridge lying down and put on my mattress topper directly and stuck on front door of fridge, which is completely unacceptable, and most of my 25 boxes were damaged and broken and crapped with my mirrors and couch shattered inside. My secretary desk was deeply front wood board scratched and have to be discarded, and my tabletop lighting was broken beyond repair. In December,i moved same amount of belongings with 10 feet tracks. (movind company Quoted for $400) with out any issues. However, this time, the Eddie's company turned out to be a junk removal service, not a licensed moving company.
