This was not an expected expense for another 20 to 30 years. We reached out to many roofing companies about possible repair options, and Bryant (HTX R&R owner) was the only one that came out to actually see if anything could be done. Ultimately, he recommended that a repair option would not suffice, as the damage was throughout the metal roof. We were devastated, concerned about the price of replacing with another metal roof, but Bryant came in with a very competitive quote that was too good to pass up. They also did repairs as they found them, as all roofers should, and they ensure those were top quality. They also replace the gutters, and now our house looks stupendous. Great quality service for a great price, and very professional business practices. We are now planning future projects with HTX R&R because we were so satisfied with this company's work.

There was no working without an agreed change order either. You knew from beginning to end the work to be completed and the end state. Although I'm not a roofing expert, I'm a person who does a lot of due diligence, in researching my options, especially if I'm paying out of pocket, as we did, on large expenses. I researched shingles, underpayments for shingles, ventilation for my attic (crucial for any roof), including solar attic vent fans, warranties on products and craftsmanship, as well as the integrity and reputation of the contractor I'm considering. Balleza Roofing and Construction, checked all my boxes. At the completion of the job, and prior to the final inspection, the Balleza employees cleaned and hauled away all of the debris and excess trash from my property. I am extremely satisfied with our new roof. Jesus Balleza Jr., and Jesus Balleza Sr., whom I met, prior to the start of the project, are very professional and treated my home, as if it were their own. I would highly recommend Balleza Roofing and Construction, as I plan to use them for my future projects.

The roofers showed up on time at 7 am with a team of 6 or 7 and got the house reroofed in one day and did such a great job! I take off on Friday for the installation of the new hot water tank. On Saturday he had the trim team show up to do the flashing, painting of the roof jacks, installation of the turbines, and removal of the gutters, all the carpentry work, and installation of the new door. When the painting began the paint crew comes by to power wash the house and calking the exterior. The next day I take off and the paint crew shows up at 8 am with a team of 6 or 8 people and the house and the exterior back front door was painted in one day. There was an additional day needed to finish the front door. A special thanks to Eddie Hernandez on the excellent job he did on my front door! It looks better than the original finish and I couldn't be happier! The crews worked on Saturday's so I only had to take off two Fridays to get the jobs done. What a dedicated team that does quality work! Great job! If you are looking for a new roof or exterior painting or a company to hire for "turn-key" projects then I highly recommend Balleza Roofing & Construction. They are on my call back list for future construction projects!

Since it was difficult to deal with the insurance company, let alone it would take them awhile to approve it, we decided to pay out of pocket since there were more storms in the forecast. We worked with Brad and he was AMAZING. He walked us through the insurance process as it was our first time putting in a claim and had no idea what to do. I had 4 roof repair companies come out to give me an estimate. It turned out, I had a leak around one pipe jack. Most gave me the option to seal around or replace the whole pipe jack and seal. The prices varied, but a coupe wanted to charge me double the others for pipe jack replacement. Finally, I got one last quote from José at Legendary Roofing. He gave me such a detailed explanation of the repair and my options. He charged me the same as the lower end quotes I received for the pipe jack replacement, but he also replaced all the pipe jacks on my house and did roof maintenance for that price. He also noticed some broken shingles from a tree rubbing against my house and replaced that too, all for a great price. I felt like he cared and took his time. And he showed me detailed pictures of everything done. Now, in 2020, he was the only one I called when I had a leak in a new area. He provided great detail, showed pictures of what was happening and showed me in my attic as well where a potential new leak could happen. He even gave me the option to seal the problem children for free versus replacing the plywood and shingles. I went with his recommendation to replace the plywood and shingles, and he also included some vents to my attic/roof for the cost. The repair was complete two days later.

During the installation, they caused severe damage to my front yard, including destroying a rare and expensive Japanese maple tree. Their method of "protecting" plants was just throwing a tarp over them, which did nothing to shield them from falling shingles and tools. A three-story ladder fell on my shrubs, damaging several, and worse -- it also fell onto my brand-new AC unit, bending the top grill. Since then, the ventilator has been rotating only millimeters away from the edge on one side, at risk of scraping. On top of that, there were permit issues. It took multiple emails and calls from me -- both to the company and the permit office -- to get it straightened out. They tried to tell me that "approval of the drawings" was the same as having the permit approved, which was not true. The confusion dragged out the inspection process unnecessarily. They never offered to fix or compensate for any of the damage. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend them.
