What a ripoff. Went in for bromine tablets for our new hot tub and the guy who helped us (he was nice) pointed to a 4 pound bucket for $60, which was higher than Amazon but we thought we'd support a local business. When my husband handed the cashier with the long hair his credit card, he was told the total was $73. The math didn't add up, so we questioned the total and showed him the price on the shelf. He just responded "well that's not what the system shows" and would not do anything, like get a manager involved. Well amazing from five stars to going to three maybe lower. Updated from Apr. 27. to today. May 4th as I await someone anyone from the warehouse to deliver my hot tub. I had an outstanding experience today with the service at Allied Pools today. They always give you a ton of information, sometimes maybe even too much, but it gives me a lot of confidence that my swimming pool be ready for a ton of enjoyment this summer. We bought our pool in February last year, and it was a daily pleasure for my family all summer long. The staff at Allied is helpful and really knows their stuff. Their spring sale in early April is a great one, and I can stock up on all my needs for the summer, with 20% off everything. read more

If I was able to give allied zero stars I would. Purchased a pool from them in 2/21, because it was "in stock". They said it would be delivered in April. Turned out it was not in stock. Now it's June and I'm being told, after many other lies and excuses, the pool won't even be in WI until July. My biggest regret is walking in the door and not canceling the pool sooner. Imagine carrying pools and saunas but not carrying salinity strips. Like salt water pools are a huge thing and many people have them but you carry nothing. I walk in and the kids who work there act like I'm annoying them by asking if they have something for anything at all. Not to mention I've been in there 2 times now in the last month or so and maybe one staff member is wearing a mask, none of the teens are and they work all right on top of each other. I can't imagine a business not taking a pandemic seriously. I'll take my business to Hansen or Barker any day rather than Allied. Wow. read more

Very knowledgeable manager and nice store. Beware when you spend thousands on your hot tub, all you get is a drop off delivery. They leave all garbage, including unboxed accessories, a load of large cardboard from hot tub and it's up to you to clean up and cart away. Just drop and leave . read more

Went there today to drop upwards of $7000 on a pool and was degraded and ignored the manager Jeremey who chose to engage with my husband only. The ONLY time he spoke to me was when I stood directly in front of him, blocking my husband to demand an answer to a question. Finally when I told him he was completely dismissive and disgusting he said "Well does Rob (hubby) feel that way?" Thankfully he had my back and handed back the various instillation cards he had previously given us. Went directly to Baker Pools and the service was AMAZING!!! read more

Called the store ahead of time to ask if they had o ring replacements for my Nature 2. The guy said yes right away. Spent 20 min driving there and walked in and the person at the counter said no we don't have that. I said I had called and the other guy nearby said oh my bad. Seriously crappy customer service. read more

They are quick to make the sales, but do nothing to serve the customer after the sale. We had a nice sale experience but found out very quickly when there were issues with the order for #Tropitone table and chairs that they do not help solve problems. Where's the customer service? We will go elsewhere for more furniture now. read more

If I was only rating my sales person, this star count would be higher. How ever, after the sale this company is beyond useless. If you are having ANY issue with them at all they tell you to call everyone else. They don't try to assist you in any way shape or form. I would probably be giving them an even lower score than I have but I negotiated the price of our pool pretty well so 1 of the stars is for the cost. I am changing my rating. Large variety of pool and hot tub needs. Overpriced chemicals, I would recommend buying elsewhere, much cheaper. Sales staff are strictly out for money and it shows. They are your best friend when you are looking - if they think you have the money to afford but once you buy, they are done with you and you aren't worth their time, this is after you have to hunt someone down to help you because they are talking with each other. We bought a pool and a hot tub from them and both times, once the sale is final, so is their communication with you no matter how many times you come in. I would think they should remember their customers who spend larger amounts of money but I guess it's about the dollar and not the customer but without us, the customers, they wouldn't get their sales. read more

I am beyond frustrated and have been hung up on. We purchased two 13 foot cantilever umbrellas from Allied last year. One of them did not close after the first time we opened it in May 2020. It is now August and we still don't have our umbrella. they are blaming the manufacturer but they have not reached out to us once to communicate the status of the umbrella, I was told that I was stressing the guy who answered the phone out, that I was the 5th person that day that called yelling at him and if I didn't change my attitude he wouldn't check on my umbrella. He gave me a bunch of excuses and at one point said he did not have a gun to my umbrellas head and was not holding it hostage. I told him this was no way to treat a customer and he needed to look at his business to figure out how they could provide better customer service. He told me they are 3 weeks behind returning customer emails. Then he hung up on me! read more

Spent the time driving out there as I had heard good things. They had a lot of inventory to choose from and until the staff opened their mouths I was impressed. My wife and I walked out. We were ready to drop $4500.00 but if their customer service is that bad while trying to sell me something, then I am not willing to give them my business. This is the first review I have ever written. After being condescended multiple times, I tried to left them tactfully know how I felt but no one seemed to care. I bought patio furniture. wanted to put $500 down and pay the balance on delivery. No, that was not ok. had to pay in full up front. ok. 4 times during the sale, I specified I needed to be called when the delivery guy was on his way- i'm fifteen minutes away. I was assured I would be called. never got a call. when I got home at 6 PM from work found the patio furniture delivered and set up with the new cloth cushions on the furniture- soaking wet because it rained that afternoon. disappointed in them. read more

Agree 100% with other customers that have purchased pools from Allied and have experienced the total lack of post purchase customer service. They are your best friend when looking to buy a pool but their customer service after the purchase is the worst I have experienced in a very long time. Very disappointing and frustrating to say the least. They place no value in their customers and I highly recommend purchasing your pool online or from other local stores. You can buy similar products at similar prices and hopefully you will get much better customer service after your purchase. read more

Be very aware of their return policy. Once it leaves the store you own it. I made a mistake buying chemicals tried to exchange but was told I couldn't. Had to eat $40.00 mistake. Read the bottom of the sales slip no return credit just in store credit on most things. I didn't want to return item just exchange it no use. Don't plan on going there again. read more
