This was my first time doing physical therapy every and didn't know what to expect. PT Solutions Tysons was so bad, that I couldn't wait to get checked out at Inova. I had a sciatic nerve injury on my left side, which was hindering my basic ability to walk, sleep, and sit. My first consultation was with Arturo, and he gave me dedicated 1:1 time, that I never got at PT Tysons. He asked me several questions, gave me some exercises, and was so knowledgeable. The best thing about this place is that they give you 1:1 time with the physical therapist, and I love that. Its not just about giving you some exercises, while they look at other patients. They are with you, even when you are doing the exercises. Within two weeks of therapy, Arturo realized that I was not getting better, and that the issue is not the hip but my back. Within a month of therapy, my pain was reduced by 40%. I loved that they tried different solutions on me, sometimes with deep massages, sometimes with exercises, and sometimes with machines. I started therapy with Inova Physical Therapy in June 2024, and I am already 80% better. I have stuck with one therapist only, and that has worked for me. The only downside is getting appointments. This place is so popular that getting appointments with the therapist of your choice can be very hard. So book ahead. Like any other medical facility, it all depends on who your doctor/therapist is. A bad therapist can make the injury worse. I can vouch for Arturo and this place for physical therapy after my terrible experience at another location. The medical experts here are very knowledgeable and very attentive. I've only worked with Arturo, and he is fabulous.

I saw Conald a majority of the time but also saw Zoyie and Hasina. They were all great! Professional, Friendly, and very positive. My chief complaint as a patient was addressed correctly and expeditiously. I was mostly alone during my treatments and I did try and attempted to use the home theraband suggestion home stretches seriously and Ice packed the off site pain management advices suggested by accredited Physical Therapists. I've tried reflexology natur/oPathy massage (like Massage eNVy), but the pain became intolerable between working two jobs, attending two colleges same time, while - - also being a new parent. Scheduling options was not disparaging and it's never a stigma to get help when you honestly need to get help. I did have uncovered unpaid balances for missing appointments due to both scholastic and two jobs schedule conflicts, in which in compliance I've paid in full and out of pocket. They accepted both HMO - and PPO- base insurance/s. Overall my personal experience in this facility was ok, I did not get injured after walking out of Jackson physical therapy clinic and their Staff were sufficient and demeanors were friendly and not rude professionals.

Previously, I was told by doctors in the area that it was due to frozen shoulder but they realized that this was not the case and recommended that I get an MRI. She was able to convince the doctors to book an MRI at the time. Turns out she was right and doctors were able to find a tumor and I am getting treated now. If Cristina was not so persistent in the level of care, I would have brushed it off and this tumor could have been a bigger problem. She is a superstar!

I've only heard excellent feedback and recommendations from fellow patients. The initial assessment gave me hope that I can improve my condition after a (failed) emergency laminectomy & microdiscectomy. Mike has a memory of an elephant- seems to know and remember every one of his patients' issues and regimen, so I always trust and know Mike will recommend what's best and enhance exercises as we go. I always feel comfortable here and leave looking forward to my next session.

My daughter recently had a bad experience at Jackson Clinic in Oakton and asked me to share her…read morethoughts. She had gone to the clinic for PT for about nine months but stopped because of the PT's rudeness. My daughter notes that the people at the front desk were beyond helpful and kind. Specifically, Anna gave us her email when my daughter hinted that she was upset about a different situation, and she seemed to genuinely care about the issue. David was also nice when we talked to him. Unfortunately, there were multiple occasions where my daughter felt sick and terrible during the sessions, and had to leave. When she would tell her PT, the PT would make my daughter feel bad and guilt trip and pressure her into staying longer. Recently, my daughter got sick and couldn't go to PT for about a month. After a month, she felt well enough to attend about 30 minutes. After the initial 30 minutes with the PT, my daughter told them she wasn't feeling well and would go home after one more exercise (that she planned and chose to do). They told her, "Okay, well just plan to stay longer next time." My daughter was extremely confused and just dumbfounded. She assumed the PT misunderstood and told the PT that she still wasn't feeling well from her recent sickness and had planned to only stay for 30 minutes. The PT double downed and told her to plan to stay for longer. At that point, my daughter was so angry she didn't want to talk to the PT anymore. She did the last exercise and left. Because they were not receptive to her feelings and symptoms, my daughter decided to stop going to the clinic, but we wanted to report it to their admin team. She sent in a contact request to the Jackson Clinics company admin team, but they never emailed or called us. A few days later, I cancelled all of her upcoming appointments at the clinic and the clinic director asked me why. I briefly explained, but my daughter called him back and told him more. At first, he seemed understanding, but near the end he seemed to be making excuses for the PT. He said he talked to her about it, and he didn't mention if she was even sorry or wanted to explain it herself. We later learned that Jackson can only bill you for the time that the patient is there. We assume they put pressure on their employees to make clients stay. While we understand that this is not the employees' fault, we expected more courtesy from them, explaining that they had to say it. Jackson most likely puts pressure on their employees so they get more money, but because of this forced pressure, we are not willing to continue service, and they lose more than they would have. We also recently learned that they sent an end of service note to my daughter's PCP. We know this is normal and expected. However, the PT lied on it. She said that she had explained to my daughter during the last appointment about their 90 minute model. She did not. She also said "patient was noncompliant with at home exercises." While this is partially true, as my daughter has multiple unreliable and unpredictable health conditions, the PT did not put in a lot of effort to help. We hope this review will give potential clients some insight and our goal is that they won't make others as upset as my daughter was, and still is.

The Doc said it was one of the worst tears he had ever seen. The therapists were conscientious of this and approached with extreme care. I initially started out three visits per week. The PT eased me to the pain and not through it as prescribed by the Doc. Over time my motions were normalizing. The PTs kept testing my movement abilities, and again not pushing. I was "handled with care". Eventually I reduced my number of visits to 2 visits a week then every other week. I am back to normal, or at least 99%. I would like to thank Nancy for having such a great group of PTs who assisted me, Petya, Kim, Courtney, Jacob, Allison and Nancy herself. I don't recommend injuries to anyone but if you must be injured and you require rehab, Ascend comes highly recommended.

They are knowledgeable, patient, really take time to listen to how you're doing and adjust exercises accordingly. The atmosphere of the practice is very calm and cooperative. Even when there are multiple folks there at the same time, I feel like I get the attention I need in terms of observations of what I'm doing, adjustments needed, and instruction on what to do next. I've gone to several PT practices over the years for different issues, and they are among the best I've experienced. I've made very rapid progress thanks to the care I've received, and have no doubt I will reach 100% in the near future if I finish my regimen at Ascend. I would recommend them to friends and family without hesitation.

Aesha is incredibly knowledgeable just from seeing my posture on the day we first met. She explains all of the exercises in detail and provided print outs for me to continue at home. Aesha is always concerned about my pain level before each session, which shows that she truly cares for her patients. Along with being a professional physical therapist, Aesha is also fun to talk to! I did have a session with Yanna Zhou who was also pleasant to work with. Just about everyone at the facility are kind and helpful! The practice offers late appointments that allows you to easily come after work. They also thoroughly sanitize every equipment between patients.
