Aesha is incredibly knowledgeable just from seeing my posture on the day we first met. She explains all of the exercises in detail and provided print outs for me to continue at home. Aesha is always concerned about my pain level before each session, which shows that she truly cares for her patients. Along with being a professional physical therapist, Aesha is also fun to talk to! I did have a session with Yanna Zhou who was also pleasant to work with. Just about everyone at the facility are kind and helpful! The practice offers late appointments that allows you to easily come after work. They also thoroughly sanitize every equipment between patients. This was my first time doing physical therapy every and didn't know what to expect. PT Solutions Tysons was so bad, that I couldn't wait to get checked out at Inova. I had a sciatic nerve injury on my left side, which was hindering my basic ability to walk, sleep, and sit. My first consultation was with Arturo, and he gave me dedicated 1:1 time, that I never got at PT Tysons. He asked me several questions, gave me some exercises, and was so knowledgeable. The best thing about this place is that they give you 1:1 time with the physical therapist, and I love that. Its not just about giving you some exercises, while they look at other patients. They are with you, even when you are doing the exercises. Within two weeks of therapy, Arturo realized that I was not getting better, and that the issue is not the hip but my back. Within a month of therapy, my pain was reduced by 40%. I loved that they tried different solutions on me, sometimes with deep massages, sometimes with exercises, and sometimes with machines. I started therapy with Inova Physical Therapy in June 2024, and I am already 80% better. I have stuck with one therapist only, and that has worked for me. The only downside is getting appointments. This place is so popular that getting appointments with the therapist of your choice can be very hard. So book ahead. Like any other medical facility, it all depends on who your doctor/therapist is. A bad therapist can make the injury worse. I can vouch for Arturo and this place for physical therapy after my terrible experience at another location. The medical experts here are very knowledgeable and very attentive. I've only worked with Arturo, and he is fabulous.

I also…read morehave a medical condition called dysautonomia, which affects muscle function, joints, and my overall ability to tolerate exertion. Because of this, I specifically need therapists who understand that overexertion makes my symptoms worse, not better. Unfortunately, my experience at PT Solutions has been consistently negative. Despite telling the therapists multiple times that I needed a gentler approach, they continued to push me far beyond what my body can safely tolerate. On two separate occasions, the exercises they insisted on left the bottoms of my feet burning and so sore that I couldn't walk normally for an entire day. Every time I explained my situation, the response was a quick "that's fair" or "I understand," but nothing actually changed. My concerns never registered. At my last session, they even had me walk on a treadmill for 8 minutes at 2.2 mph, which caused a thigh tendon spasm afterward. Their attitude seemed to be that I "need to push through and build endurance," completely missing that my condition is neurological, and pushing harder only worsens it. This clinic does not seem equipped to treat patients with complex medical or neurological conditions. The approach felt more like generic workout coaching than personalized therapy. I now understand why their overall rating is only 3.7 stars. I've canceled all remaining appointments. If you have any condition where exertion can trigger symptoms, I would strongly recommend seeking a more knowledgeable and individualized practice.

The Dr assessed me on day 1 and I was dismissed. When I returned on day 2, I was handed several printouts from the same Dr of how to do some exercises and was dismissed. Oh yeah, he did offer to prescribe me 50 or 60 potent ibuprofen pills. WTF?! Ok...good-bye for good and I never returned. Enter PT Solutions at Tysons. They had me assessed and working out on Day 1. Mr Shipp was my intake person and he was stellar, attentive, friendly, conducted some exercises to see my limitations, explained everything he did and why, and actively listened to me as he took notes regarding how he wanted to set up my personal PT plan. I am going on my third week here as I was prescribed by Mr Shipp to attend PT 3x a week for my issue. I have worked with many physical therapists here and they are all great. I am looking forward to getting back to optimal health as I've already seen some improvements in this short time frame.

I've only heard excellent feedback and recommendations from fellow patients. The initial assessment gave me hope that I can improve my condition after a (failed) emergency laminectomy & microdiscectomy. Mike has a memory of an elephant- seems to know and remember every one of his patients' issues and regimen, so I always trust and know Mike will recommend what's best and enhance exercises as we go.
