I admit, I was…read morea little skeptical that my problem could be solved- I knew the fracture would heal, but I've had back issues for a number of years and I just felt resigned to the fact that my back would always be a problem and just another indignity that comes with being in my 50's. Well, six weeks later I feel so much better and stronger. My team (more on them in a bit) really worked hard to put together an exercise program that would strengthen my core, back, and legs and with each session, I saw and felt improvement. I downloaded a recommended app and my PT sent videos to it that would allow me to do some of my exercises at home and that makes it much easier to remember the techniques and rep counts. The best part of The Jackson Clinics is the people. Right up front in the Ashburn location is the very professional, very positive and extremely efficient Anem- a young lady with a very bright future. Nathan is the lead Therapist I would see at the beginning of every session and he is simply outstanding. One of the nicest people you could ever meet and you can tell he cares very much about how you are feeling and progressing. He is the one who dictates the program and comes up with the exercises and strength building activities you will be doing. He sees what works and what does not and reacts accordingly. Finally, each session Nathan would hand me off to Peyton, who showed me the activities I needed to do and monitored me as I did them. He checks on you often and is very encouraging along the way. I really felt like Peyton is in a perfect position by helping people, he is a great PT and an even better person. I actually felt a little sad saying goodbye to this great team today and I'll miss them. I hope to see them someday outside of the clinic! Thank you all very much, you are really an excellent team and I'm grateful that I chose your location for my therapy.

My physical therapist (Caitlin) is awesome. I'm so thankful for her because she is helping me improve my shoulder strength and range of motion. Its been about a month and I feel my shoulder getting better. Its not where I want it to be yet but these things take time and I'm not getting any younger. The facilities are clean and they have lots of exercise machines, bands, weights, etc. They do get booked pretty quickly so call now to make an appointment because the longer you wait, the longer you'll need to wait to be seen.

Using massage machines instead of hands for certain modalities gives the impression the therapists prefer less human work over devices that folks can buy online. The physical therapy staff is great. The office staff is completely incompetent and will screw you…read moreover. They do not keep track of how many visits you are at, so expect to have to keep track of that yourself (even though the standard at every other place I've gone is that the office staff do this). They notified me that I was over my limit after I had already gone several visits past my limit and instead of charging me the self-pay rate for the non-covered visits, they are charging me the full rate they send to my insurance company. Note, NOT the lower amount they actually accept my insurance company, but the amount that is about 3 times higher. I would not be at all surprised if they intentionally let patients go over the limit so they can make money back by charging them these outrageous prices they can't get from insurance companies. I switched to a much more organized and professionally run clinic and I only regret that I didn't switch sooner after the office staff messed up 3 appointment times.

I worked with Allison for the better part of three months and she was terrific. She was calm and very detailed in what she was doing and made sure I understood what she was trying to accomplish. She was very patient throughout the process and worked with me answering my concerns and questions. She was very solicitous in insuring any pain was minimal and concerned about the entire process for me. Gradually, I have recovered and have regained almost all of my ankle function thanks to Allison. The entire staff was very pleasant and created a friendly atmosphere which added to a healing environment. We all seemed to be working towards the same goal. I also…read morehave a medical condition called dysautonomia, which affects muscle function, joints, and my overall ability to tolerate exertion. Because of this, I specifically need therapists who understand that overexertion makes my symptoms worse, not better. Unfortunately, my experience at PT Solutions has been consistently negative. Despite telling the therapists multiple times that I needed a gentler approach, they continued to push me far beyond what my body can safely tolerate. On two separate occasions, the exercises they insisted on left the bottoms of my feet burning and so sore that I couldn't walk normally for an entire day. Every time I explained my situation, the response was a quick "that's fair" or "I understand," but nothing actually changed. My concerns never registered. At my last session, they even had me walk on a treadmill for 8 minutes at 2.2 mph, which caused a thigh tendon spasm afterward. Their attitude seemed to be that I "need to push through and build endurance," completely missing that my condition is neurological, and pushing harder only worsens it. This clinic does not seem equipped to treat patients with complex medical or neurological conditions. The approach felt more like generic workout coaching than personalized therapy. I now understand why their overall rating is only 3.7 stars. I've canceled all remaining appointments. If you have any condition where exertion can trigger symptoms, I would strongly recommend seeking a more knowledgeable and individualized practice.

The first session was longer than typical because it combined the consultation and the session, which included the most manual therapy I ever had. After my 2nd session, the pain was gone and I enjoyed walking/living pain-free for a few days. Although I am back to feeling pain now (because there is no magic and the road to full recovery will take time and set backs), I write this review fully knowing that I am in good hands - with a competent, friendly and professional group of people!
