I have now been bringing my kids for about 2 months now and we love it! The entire staff is amazing! My husband at first was concerned of our kids age they wouldn't offer to much to learn and be repetitive, but we are happy to say it's not. They are constantly learning new things and applying previous techniques taught to expand their knowledge on Jiu-jitsu. They really push the kids to try hard and not give up. They are absolutely amazing and we're so glad we found them! read more

Amazing job they do here. My son loves it, learning Jiu Jitsu self defense Martial art helps him to focus use all the energy he haves. Really improves our children to a better person. My son feels safe here, I feel safe him being there. Sam, Jean and other teachers are awesome. You won't regret it if you decide to join. Everyone is friendly, good people. read more

Samuel Snow and his team are among the most dedicated teachers I've ever met. My daughter started attending jujitsu classes a few weeks ago. Her father and I have seen a complete 180 in her confidence and willingness to try something that might have made her fearful before. The teachers at Snow MMA go well beyond what's expected and really strive to bring out the best in each child. Not just in their athletic performance, but in ways that will encourage integrity, team work, and confidence in their adult lives. Seeing this first hand has encouraged me to try out a few classes and hopefully come away a little better myself. read more

As far as your following reply, "*Note that we had offered refunds and contacted all of the parents prior to, regarding the disparity in weight, and were given the OK to combine them by the parents whose children did not have opponents in their weight categories." No you did not contact our family, and I am sure if you tell us what number you called from it will not be on our phone statement. We do not want a refund as it was for a good cause, but neither do we want you replying with comments that seem to place the blame on us. We were never contacted. read more

So I just moved to Texas, I have been doing BJJ on and off for 10 plus years. Been to a bunch of places. I was grabbing a cup of Coffee with my wife and came across Alliance Jiu Jitsu. I walked in and was greeted by Professor. Snow and his wife who were warming up. They paused introduced them selves and gave me the info on everything they do. Came back and got in on their open mat on Wednesday. They have a lot of talent that comes in and a diverse class schedule. Women's open mats happen occasionally and hopefully find a slot in the rotation. The kids classes are taught by Coach Ashley and I have been acting as her assistant when I can get off work early enough. I give this place 4 stars based on the quality of Jiu Jitsu, the 5th star is reflective how Sam and his wife run the dojo. It's always neat and clean and they treat everyone like family. I am the newest member and they go above and beyond, asking me how my move and settling into my new community. If you live in the area or are new you should stop in get a look at the place and see if you can add to the family. Hope to see you on the mat! read more

Not only is the student welcomed, but the whole family. A true team and family atmosphere is a pleasant surprise when involved with such an individual sport. Sam and JP give plenty of one on one instruction and ALWAYS make sure each student is familiar and comfortable with each discipline and exercise they teach. The "outside the gym" parties and picnics are a great place to meet new people and get familiar with the instructors as people. Again, the feeling of being part of the academy is great, Alliance Jiu-Jitsu is where it's at! read more

Alliance Jiu Jitsu Keller - Kickboxing Near Me - Keller, Texas

The only place I've ever given 5 stars, they truly deserve it! Tried out many schools in the area and chose this one despite it being a little out of my radius (18 miles) It's in a golfball shaped building (super cool) I loved the logo too. The gym inside is still growing but from the looks of it, it will be pretty awesome. There's mats in the main area and a fitness room in the back loaded with equipment for any type of routine (Basic workouts, Cardio routines, Bootcamps etc.) They foster a pleasant learning environment, just the right amount of talk, show, and practice. Sam is a great instructor he really wants you to be there and he really makes sure you learn. The students are friendly and encouraging in addition to sharing their experience with one another. If you're a lady and worried about guys beating down on you, well rest assured there are many other ladies here and the guys are gentlemen as well. If you sign-up here, you are definitely in good hands! read more

Professor Sam Snow is an accomplished BJJ Black Belt and a phenomenal teacher. He has a natural talent for connecting with people and making complicated moves seems simple. He is patient with both children and adults. It's a very comfortable atmosphere for people to learn martial arts and get in great shape. I HIGHLY recommend this school for anyone looking to learn BJJ, Muay Thai, Wrestling, or MMA... whether you're experienced or brand new to it. You will not find better instruction! In addition, the facility is really nice and clean. read more

Best kids program in DFW...and maybe the entire state of Texas. Not only that, but the adult programs are top notch as well. Owner, and black belt Samuel Snow is an unbelievably patient and passionate instructor. His staff is extremely knowledgeable (having learned much from him) and great with the kiddos. This is a place for the whole family to dive in together, and experience a fulfilling activity while growing stronger and healthier. read more

I have been enrolled in the Women's Self Defense class here for about 10 classes and I think that this is a fantastic place to go if you or your kids have ever wanted to study BJJ or any of the other martial arts they offer. Sam and his staff are incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and (fortunately for me) completely willing to answer any question or repeat any step. They are great teachers who clearly want all of their students to have fun and succeed. I have learned SO much in the short time I have spent at this gym and I am really glad I enrolled here. You can tell that all of the staff is really passionate about what they teach and their love for what they do makes every class a ton of fun! Everyone is very approachable and they even have "Open Mat" sessions on Saturdays that are open to anyone to just come in and practice what they've learned that week or to just come and see what everything is about. In short: highly recommended! read more

My kids started here about 5 months ago. They have a great kids program that pushes the kids but makes it fun as well. I joined later so I could roll with the kids and help them on their moves if they needed help at home. Now I am hooked and go more than they do. The gym members are like a big family. All the higher belts are willing to roll with and help out the newer people. There's really no egos here, and I'm constantly being challenged and also encouraged as I learn new things. read more

At first, I began training jiu-jitsu under Sam in 2015 as a fun way to get into shape and to shed some pounds, but after a month I was hooked. Training at Alliance Jiu-Jitsu DFW has been great. Not only am I constantly learning a skill that has proven to work in the real world, but I have also been introduced to great people that I would have never met otherwise. The coaches always motivate in a positive way and my teammates are always more than happy to drill techniques. I'd recommend both friends and family to start training with Sam. read more

I've had my daughters in BJJ for a couple of months and they absolutely love it. My brother who does BJJ in ATX did extensive research on all of the instructors in the DFW area and stumbled on Samuel Snow. He's seen Samuel Snow at the competition before and was glad to see that he had got a youth program. I signed my kids up with no hesitation and I must say we have no regrets. They've got an amazing group of coaches working with the youth. They've taught my daughters persistence and perseverance. There isn't a day that the girls aren't ready before I am because they're so excited to go to class. They're the ones pushing me and my husband to get up every Saturday morning to take them to class. We are extremely impressed with how confident and discipline they've become. read more

Samuel Snow is an outstanding professor and an incredibly humble individual. Just ask anyone in the DFW jiu jits community. The instruction at his academy is top notch and everyone is very friendly and willing to help. No egos and the biggest killers on the mat are the nicest folks off the mat. After moving from out of state and being very comfortable at my previous gym deciding which gym to join in Dallas was very tough after 12 months of joining Alliance I am couldn't be happier. read more

Excellent place to train. Samuel Snow is a really nice guy and a phenom level grappler who actively competes. Whether you're looking for a martial arts school for your kids or yourself, Snow Mixed Martial Arts is a fantastic choice if you're in the area. I spent a week there during a training camp where I was training twice a day and I thought their group had some of the toughest grapplers I've ever locked horns with. It's a 40+ minute drive from my house, and I still try to train there at least once a week because they're such a great group of people to be around. Two jiu-jitsu-thumbs way up. read more
