Now, the gas is too expensive compared to other gas stations on the coast, and the products they sell are completely overpriced. I bought a plastic bottle of coke and it cost me about $5. I'd expect that at an amusement park or a ball game but not at a gas station. Inside is cluttered, and they usually only have one cashier, so you'll have to wait forever to spend a fortune on junk food.

(Pet peeve... gas pumps that go slow. They make me have to pee like something fierce, no matter if my bladder is full or not). For me, it's more like a rest stop along Highway 1. It's about halfway between Pacifica and Half Moon Bay. Last time I was there was a few weeks ago, on a dark stormy night. Road was wet, can't see the lines, and it was windy. Then in the distance, I saw the Chevron sign all lit up in the darkness. I stopped for gas, snacks, and take a short break. Easy to get back on the road. Gas prices will be higher than average here.

Looks like I wasn't paying enough attention to the oil level it was past my oil change interval, and it was pretty low, so they topped that off and also found noise from the axles and wheel bearings which I kinda knew about, but they were very fair in describing it realistically and provided a very affordable estimate. They got the parts in a day and had my vehicle back and now works great. I will be back for sure, highly recommended. They are not a cheap place $195 labor rate as of 3/2025 which is more than my regular mechanic but the place is well run and this is about going rate everywhere. The regular maintenance was about $160 for Amsoil oil change so that is about right and I love to run amsoil.
