Having my husband go to this facility was one of the biggest mistakes I've ever done. I found this place on google and had my Husband go because of the reviews. In the end, he still has allergies after 6 months, green and yellow phlegm still coming out of his nose, coughing and sneezing. The doctor only gave him antibiotics which made his heart race and his immune system more weak. Then he told my husband that we have a dog so that's the main cause of his allergies. You can only imagine the fights that created in our house hold because getting rid of our dog was the "fix" to his allergy problem. We live in an old 1950s built home and also have some mold in our bathroom. The doctor never asked or mentioned anything about that, he focused on our dog and it being the culprit of his allergies. My husband still has allergies and still suffers every day after multiple meetings with this office. He is frustrated and scared that there's something worse going on with him. We also still fight about our small 3lb hypoallergenic, short hair (shaved) Yorkshire terrier dog because this doctor put in my husbands head that it is the problem. If you have pets and want real help with your allergies, don't go here. read more

My wife asks a lot of questions and he patiently takes his time to throughly address all of her issues and provides reassurance to her. I didn't want to have to write a negative review, as I don't write reviews, but here we are. TLDR: Avoid this place like the plague if you don't want a billing nightmare. I make an appointment in December, the appointment making process was simple, fantastic!! But everything else was a disaster from there. I get called a little under 24 hours in advance, with just enough time to be charged their ~$40 cancellation fee if I cancelled. I was told how because I didn't hit my deductible yet, (and I assured them I would because of other medical issues that year) I'd have to pay ~$400 for allergy testing and see the doctor as a "deposit." I try calling my other healthcare providers and insurance to see if my other doctors could push their billing up. They can't. Okay whatever, a minor inconveince, but I have savings (luckily!!). I'll or paid back eventually, right? (Hint: nope!! It's been nearly 3 months and I haven't been paid back even though I hit my deductible AND my health insurance paid them already.) Okay so I go in, they performed the test, I pay the deposit. But since it's the end of the day, I'm rushed out, with them not really explaining my results saying I have a minor reaction to certain things and I could try avoiding the food. Good to know, but it's not clear how severe these reactions were, nor did they seem to care. Do I need an epipen? (Hopefully not because I wasn't told this and I'm out that $400 it would take to get one anyways!!) Anyhow, Feburary rolls around and I notice that 1. My insurance company footed (most of) the bill and 2. I hadn't been paid back the remainder of the deposit (~$300). I call them and the billing lady, Yolanda is kind. She tells me how I can expect to get a refund back to my card in 7-10 business days and she'll call me back if she has any problems. Awesome! ... I wait about 11-12 business days just to give them some extra time. Shit happens, I get it. I call them, get someone named Debbie I believe? She tells me she needs to wait on her supervisor since she isn't in (at like 10:30am) and she gets my number... But never calls me back and it's 3 days later. Guess I've gotta start calling them daily to get my money back. I was so hopeful with the ease of getting an appointment. But both the doctor and billing has been hell. read more

One of the best allergy doctors I have ever been to . They answered all my questions about my symptoms and they did my allergy test, after going to so many different doctors and no one giving me answers , the allergy did here gave me the answeres I needed. turns out I don't have severe allergies, I just a lot of body histamines. after 6months and a follow up check up, I not longer have the symptoms I had. i would highly recommend It here. read more

I had high hopes for this medical facility because they were referred to me by a doctor I know and respect. I suppose he doesn't have to deal with the front office and scheduling appointments. Doctors - please take note: Your front office staff represents you and your business. When they are unhelpful and unpleasant it will immediately deter patients from wanting to visit your office. It doesn't matter how "good" of a doctor you may be - dealing with difficult and an extremely impolite office manager is unacceptable! The front office initially told me this facility and the doctors were not contracted with my insurance company. I found that to be unusual and wanted to double check. I called my insurance company and checked on the insurance company website -- they are indeed a preferred provider! This was both time consuming, confusing and annoying. I called back and advised them of the information I was told from my insurance company. I was in the middle of scheduling an appointment (looking past the 20 minutes I spent going back and forth with their office and my insurance company to get to this point). Once I provided some personal information I was told I needed to put down a credit card in order to hold an initial appointment. (Never in my life have I had to put down a credit card to hold an initial appointment for a doctor.) I was then transferred to the office manager to discuss further. She was extremely impolite and unprofessional - she made my decision very easy - there was no way I was planning to make an appointment with this office now! From the looks of the reviews - I am not the only one who finds this "policy" absurd! I think they need to rethink it if they want to attract new patients and keep the current ones. I would re-consider going to this office if the doctors informed the front office (especially the office manager) how to treat patients (new and existing) in addition to changing their "credit card" policy. This is an awful experience. While breath tests I almost choke because of the piece of plastic wrap in the breathing tube (be careful and always check tubes from inside before taking a deep breath through it!!!), i even don`t want to think about what could happen if that piece of plastic got inside my lungs and how they will it make go out. Doctor didnt even look at my allergric reaction on the skin and didnt say nothing about it. But he prescripted me really dangerous drug (which i dont need) without even any analyzes taken! Nice clean office. Saturday appointment options are great! My son Was seeing the second doctor in command, - not the friendliest. Just stuck to his job. But we did get to see the main/head doctor once and he was extremely nice and catering to my son. My son was on meds for almost three years. Kept expressing to "second on comand" doctor that I didn't like my kid needing to have so much meds being pumped up on his nose, but all doctor would say is if I don't do it, he may become asthmatic. When I got to see the head doctor, and saw that my 5 year old has been on meds for 3 years , he asked if I would be interested in vaccine immunity shots... ummm yeah! Why the other doctor never offered that option to me, I don't know! My son has been getting vaccinated and I have been seeing a difference. read more

I have been dealing for eczema since I cannot recall when. It is so severe to the point where I have difficulty getting out of the house. A friend of mine suggested I see Dr. Manoukian. Quite impressed with my first visit. I have never seen a physician with such a comprehensive approach. I finally have an eczema action plan that he has written for me. I will be proceeding with testing to see if chemicals are contributing to my eczema as well as environmental allergens. He told me there are new treatments that have come out for individuals with severe eczema that we can start. After the visit it left me with hope that my eczema can actually improve. Being a business man myself, I appreciated the level of organization of the clinic and staff. From the financial aspect to the doctor. He was very thorough and looked at my symptoms systemically which was a first with regard to the approach oh previous allergists. Where to begin... first of all it took me an hour to drive to this location but it came highly recommend by my dermatologist so I decided to give them a shot. Next, it took me another 20 minutes to find parking. My appointment was at 10am. I still managed to arrive at 10 just to be told I have the wrong telephone number on file (which I confirmed as correct). The receptionist saw how frustrated I was getting with her because she blamed me for a wrong number which was correct!! Then she said oh well I must have dialed it wrong. Waited in the waiting room until 10:30 and then was taken to the back and spoke to a very friendly nurse. The doctor didn't even come in to see me until 10:50!!!!! This has been a fantastic experience. The office is very efficient. No waiting. The staff is personable and professional. And the facilities are impeccably clean. I know that sounds odd to say - shouldn't ALL health facilities be clean? But I'm amazed sometimes when I visit dental and doctor offices and I see baseboards and equipment hoses with months of accumulated dust and grime. AIRE Medical is a class act. Hello again I'm back . I've been in treatment with doctor manukian for almost a year and his treatments. His medications have honestly got me a lot better. No more visits to the emergency room since I started with him no more breakouts on my hives very little itchiness going on on the body. I can say no more itchiness on the body. Now just a little bit on the hands taking doctor manukian's medications that he prescribes following his instructions coming to him for my injections works. Doctor manukian and his staff are great. Make sure you can remind yourself of your appointment because you will not get a text or a phone call reminding you but the office will charge you. If you ask nicely, there is a first time get out of jail pass. They ask for your credit card when you book the appointment (a first for me). I understand businesses need to account for income and people need to get in. Just be sure to put post it notes up and note your calendar if you are in a hectic, unpredictable business like production. I can't really rate the doctor because I only have interacted with his staff but my own ENT thinks he is a good doctor. read more

Dr. Manoukian is great. He is a native English speaker and is also fluent in Spanish. I mention this because some allergy offices I have been have presented certain communication barriers. I did not experience any communication issues here. It was great. Even the staff is great and it feels very refreshing to interact with the staff that is super friendly and very on top of it. The entire office has a well defined process. Billing, making appointments, getting the shots, and having prescriptions filled is a breeze. They even have fast WIFI that you can use while you wait. This place is constantly using technology and smart people to create a superior experience. Finally, I cannot advise you on what to do in terms of treatment so I will only speak what I liked about this office. Dr. Manoukian is up to date on the latest treatment options, including Cluster Therapy. I qualified for this and was able to get to the full strength of allergy shots in under 6 sessions. Each session lasted just over 3 hours and I was administered 5 shots every 30 minutes. This made it possible to shrink the time it took me to get to the maintenance dose from 8-12 months elsewhere to 4 weekends here. Now I come in every 3 weeks and soon just every month. That helped me tremendously with my terrible allergies and saved me wasting months and months waiting to get to full strength. I should have listened to the reviews below about medical billing. I called in advance asking what my insurance coverage was going to be. I had a huge deductible so we decided not to go with my insurance and I would just pay out of pocket. I paid out of pocket. But they billed my insurance regardless and when my insurance didn't pay (which we all knew they wouldn't) they kept harassing my emergency contact about payment. If you want a payment you should maybe contact the right person? So unprofessional it's disgusting. Then I called and emailed trying to sort things out with no response until a letter came in the mail. The people working here are unprofessional. By the way I only spent 10 minutes with the doctor. Do not go here. It is not worth it. There are so many amazing doctors that have professional people working for them. read more

I've been suffering from severe allergies for many, many years. It's been a tough slog through various antihistamines, eye drops, nasal sprays, etc., and it's been a hit or miss proposition with relief sometimes and no relief at other times. Lately, though, my symptoms have been off the Richter scale. I've been so sick with allergy symptoms, my life came to a screeching halt. Then, I was referred to Dr. Manoukian and Aire Medical Group, Inc. To say this office, medical staff and Dr. Manoukian, are thorough is a monumental understatement. During my first appointment, they asked me a battery of questions meant to determine the depth and scope of my allergies and symptoms. I was amazed at the level of detail and the kindness shown to me. Dr. Manoukian spent considerable time with me discussing my allergies and the options open to me to find relief. He gave me a regimen to follow with some prescription medications and some over-the-counter (OTC) meds. Within 24 hours, I found more relief than I had in the last 10 years. On my second visit, I found out exactly what I'm allergic to and will now be taking allergy shots to help me deal with my allergies long term. Again, Dr. Manoukian and his superb staff were wonderful, attentive, and extremely professional and exactly what I needed. I've been a patient here for a few years now. I really love the vibe of this place and everyone here. Dr. Manoukian is very informative and knows his stuff, he's open to trying things and to figuring out a proper regimen of medication and/or therapies. I often have issues finding doctors that want to stick with me because I'm very sensitive to medications (and I suffer from anxiety so I'm a pretty anxious patient) but I'm pleased that I've found this place because this doctor is dedicated to helping, no matter how difficult or long the journey may be. The receptionists are very professional and understanding, whenever I have a question or concern they go above and beyond to help. Also the nurse practitioners here are incredibly sweet and personable, the man that usually gives me my shots(unfortunately I cannot remember his name at the moment but he's the younger and taller gentleman with dark hair) is always pleasant to be around and has a very friendly energy to him, which makes the entire experience all the more pleasant. We all know getting shots is no fun but when the person giving you one is gentle and kind it makes the experience a lot more tolerable. Dr. Manoukian is hands down the best doctor ever! I've been suffering from allergies (itchy and watery eyes, nasal congestion, hives and rashes) ever since I was young. I never thought my problems would have been resolved until I came to AIRE Medical Group. Dr. Manoukian is very attentive and takes the time to explain to his plan for your care. I would feel lucky if I get to spend 10 minutes with most doctors but you can really tell that Dr. Manoukian actually cares about his patients. I got a skin test here and I am going to pursue allergy shots. It seems like they do the whole range of allergy testing here as well ranging from drug challenges to testing for chemical allergies (patch testing). There is a free parking lot in the back (rare to find these days). Tip: print out the new patient forms on their website www.airemedical.com to save time. Also you can find out what to expect on your first visit and what medications to stop before your skin test on the easy to navigate website. Finally the staff here is also amazing. I've had to downgrade my number of stars, sadly. Not because of Dr. Manoukian, but because of his increasingly rude and newcomer staff. Since September of 2019, his new hires display not a shred of care in their voice when you call the office and I have spent a small fortune here on allergy cluster shots and monthly medications. People ARE vulnerable when they don't feel well and calling into their doctor, especially for a needed prescription, and certainly don't want some surly voice challenging them on their own condition. A bad attitude and a lack of empathy from the other end of the phone really has soured a once-great experience. read more

My Doctor refer us to this specialists Dr Manoukian. I booked an appointment with them BUT to be able to keep my appointment the office policy is that they need a credit card on file. I don't give out my credit card information specially when my insurance cover 100% . It's a Shame that even when you tell them that you don't feel comfortable giving your credit card info they insist on it . For that reason I'm not going to this office it's a shame because my insurance is a great insurance and pays 100% to this office. read more

We didn't even get a chance to see the doctor. I scheduled appointment for my 22 months old son and drove for more than an hour in traffic with my 2 kids. My appointment was at 4:15pm and we were running 5 min late when I got a call from receptionist saying that we were late and she needs to reschedule it. I explained that we drove for a long time and already exiting the freeway, which means we are 5 min away. But no, she didn't listen insisting that the doctor can't wait for us even though their office was closing in an hour. What kind of practice is it? I want to relay my appreciation for Dr. Manoukian. I have been dealing with eczema on my hands for several years now. Dr. Manoukian was able to diagnose that this was due to contact dermatitis (essential I was allergic to a chemical I was coming into contact with). I was able to undergo patch testing and I was able to find out the chemical I was allergic to. I am now eczema free and having a better quality of life.
