Not only did she take the time to make us feel special, she was preparing for a group from UMD. This is a small vineyard with a Big Heart. Ron and Craig are amazing. They aren't open every day except for Tuesday and Wednesday. If you are thinking about going on a Thursday Friday or Monday be aware those dates are by appointment only. They are also available to host private events. Looks can be deceiving, when I arrived it looked like it was someone's home. Come to find out it actually is the owners of the Vineyard's home and they have a tasting room attached. The parking lot is very small and only able to accommodate a few cars. I recommend car pooling if you can. They have a very nice patioSet up with fire pits and heat lamps that I would be willing to bet would be nice to sip wine and have a conversation. It was a little bit too cold for my taste when I went on a Sunday in November so I chose to go inside. The tasting room is small and due to Covid restrictions they have limited seating. Mask use is mandatory here. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines that I have. I don't know too much about wines Oh I opted to have a tasting. For seven dollars I got six samples of wine to choose from. After sampling them all I made a decision to purchase a bottle before I left. Definitely a great experience and I recommend anyone who enjoys wine to make a trip.

She was very easy to talk to on a casual basis as we sipped our wine and actually made suggestions for the winery nearby. The wines were very good! it was obvious to me that the winemaker took pride in his or her work and the establishment itself. They kept the original name from the people they bought the vineyards from which I thought was very classy. They even dedicated a label with original sheet music from the previous owners. My friend and I split a case of wine to go and will be enjoying some over the holidays while we take a trip back down this lane of memories. If in the York area, I highly recommend this place. Apologies for not taking any pictures. I was just excited about the experience and was living in the moment.

Diane, the lovely owner is so gracious and sweet and was able to handle the flow of oenophiles quite effortlessly. They have the main tasting room and also an adjacent room that could accommodate a group tasting. Diane did a great job of giving us a detailed description of each wine and I was actually pleasantly surprised! I'm not a huge fan of Md wine but truly enjoyed the wines here. I purchased a bottle of the Estate Red and they had a wonderful sangria made with their Chambourcin which I also purchased. I love supporting local and especially such a great vineyard such as this one that is also a working farm. I would encourage anyone to venture out to this vineyard--but actually put the address in your gps and not just the name, you will end up at someone's home. I assume this family are use to people ending up at their home-they have a sign that has the address of the vineyard on it--thank you mystery family!

The grounds are really beautiful and would definitely make a good place to host a wedding or other big event. They make their own cider and beer and their menu features a few gluten free options including GF buns and GF pizza crust with other GF options clearly marked. We ordered the brussel sprouts and buffalo wings to share and my grandma and I split a white pizza on cauliflower crust. The brussels were good but nothing life changing - I do think if they cut them in half they'd have turned out more crispy and less mushy. The buffalo wings were slathered in a delicious sauce and very good. The white pizza was just OK. We asked for chicken to be added but they forgot. The crust was thin but not very crispy. I caught a glimpse of their regular pizzas which looked delicious if you are able to tolerate gluten. I also had the Wyn-mosa, their take on a mimosa. It came with their citrus cider mixed in and it was a really nice combination. They even put a candle in our dessert for my grandma, after I secretly requested it. The food is nothing super memorable but it's a good option if you're in the area.
