Greedy. Money hungry. Messy. Disorganized. Just don't…read more He cares more about squeezing every last penny out of his customers, than doing what is right. They told me once the work was done, to plug my car in to make sure it was working correctly. It wasn't. The tech was cold and in a hurry to leave-- making zero attempts to solve the problem. Instead, stating "it's probably because your car is fully charged", as to why the charger was not indicating it was charging. I ran the battery down on my vehicle, to attempt charging again. However, the charger still did not indicate it was charging, when plugged in. Bickimer expected me to troubleshoot the issue myself, asking me to flip the breaker, and when that didn't work, telling me to open the charger up and make sure everything was how it should be. After telling them I was uncomfortable doing that, they agreed to come out and address the issue. That agreement was quickly negated when they decided they THINK the issue is within the charger itself, and not a problem with the install. To which, they say they will need to wait for the replacement part, and to let them know when it comes, and then they will come back to fix the issue. A little over a week later, the part arrived, I reached out to Bickimer to get the charger fixed--now they want $295 to do so! So now, unless I pay an additional $295, I'm stuck with an EV charger, hardwired into my home that does not fully function, and will not indicate whether it is charging or not. In addition to this-- Bickimer is very unprofessional. The techs did not arrive until nearly 40 minutes after our scheduled appointment time-- no notice given. Once things go south, Spencer will refer to you however he wants and blame it on talk to text. Good luck getting Mike to hold a conversation and face the situation. He'll leave it to his front desk girl, Briana, who is so disorganized that she'll reach out to you several times to schedule, once you're already scheduled. Don't get me started on the mess they left behind on my wall! I highly suggest you don't spend your hard earned dollars at this company, and advise your clients not to spend theirs here either!

We recently had a problem with our main line backing up. I found a plumbing company that offered…read moremain line cleaning and free camera inspection. They determined that my main line could not be cleaned and had to be replaced due to the tree roots that had overtaken the line. I was told that to replace my line they would have to dig up my yard and it would cost just over $15,000. I contacted a couple of other companies to get second opinions on the work that was needed and compare pricing. The other companies did confirm that my main line needed to be replaced and also said they would have to dig up the yard to replace the old line and they gave bids of 16 and 20 thousand. Before I pulled the trigger, I wanted one more bid. I reached out to Inception Plumbing and was glad I did. When they came out, they tried to clear the line but determined that my line needed to be replaced, but unlike the previous companies they explained to me that they offered pipe replacement using a process called pipe bursting. It not only saved me thousands of dollars, but they were able to complete the job in 1 day.

Woke up to water in our basement yesterday after a lot of rain…read more Didn't know where to start, so I called Inception Plumbing, who I have used for years because they are trust worthy. They sent out Chris, who is a laid back, smart guy who always does the job right. He walked me through my options, assessed the damage and gave me ideas, helped me discover where my outside drains are, and then we set up an appointment with Andrew, who came out and cleared a couple of drains that were clogged in my front yard. The price was much less than I had feared. The Inception employees are always pro-- the front end is friendly and helpful, the workers on time, they know what to do and do it right, and they are respectful of people's homes-- they wear booties inside and clean up any mess they make. You can maybe find cheaper service, but you can't find better service. In the long run, they have saved me a lot of money by being honest and thorough, having modern equipment and hiring the best of the best and paying them fairly. And I love that they are local.

I hired Code Electric to do several jobs for me, and I'm a contractor myself. I'm building a…read moredetached garage, so I hired them to add a 200 amp panel and meter to the existing house, connect to the existing 100 amp panel and bring it up to code, and to install a 100 amp panel in the new garage once it's built. They came out quickly to discuss the work I wanted, provided a timely bid at a great price, then pulled the permit and did the work. Great communication the entire time, very professional, and just great people! Jerome was fantastic from start to finish. Then, less than an hour after the new panel was installed, a huge storm came through and a giant tree tore down the brand new power line and pulled the meter from the house! This was on a Friday. I called Code, explained the situation, and they worked with me over the weekend to figure out a solution. On Monday Code was kind enough to come over and repair/reinstall the meter and box during a very narrow window while the power company was in the area, even as they had other jobs they were working on. And, they only charge me a fraction of what they could have, since every other electrician in the area was already committed to days or weeks of work fixing the storm damage. Of the many contractors I've dealt with over the years, I must say that Code Electric is at the top of my list and I highly encourage everyone to consider them for your next electrical project!
