However, I was not able to find the right color shirt that matched my wife's dress. I had been to several stores, was running out of patience and luck. I was the told about El Dorado at Flatirons mall, and gave them a call, and as luck would have it, they had the color that I was looking for. The young man and lady working that day were very nice and helpful, I decided to buy a new cowboy hat as well, since we were going to San Antonio, Texas (when in Rome). What I didn't realise that I had FOUR, not TEN, days to pick my order up. The check-out page in the newbalance.com website shows that the order would be held for ten days. I was one day late and missed the pick-up. When I showed up, the store claimed not to have my order anymore. Really??? That fast in getting rid of my order??? I contacted New Balance customer service to complain. Apparently, this store policy conflicted with New Balance's 10-day hold. Then, my pre-authorisation payment was held up (could be up to seven days). So, I have decided to report the discrepancy with the store and corporate policies to FTC and Better Business Bureau because it involves my money that hadn't been released to my bank account for five days.
