This is my second time receiving service from All Wires Hidden. The first time was in February 2019 and I got two flat screens one installed in living room one in my bed room. Quincy was very professional, efficient, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He hit the wires perfectly and the TV is very secure on the wall. Also he left my house very clean because he picked up the trash and even offered to throw away the box even though he did not have to. I like that out of respect he took off his shoes ( I never asked him to btw). This time around my TV living room went out and I contacted him last minute, he was able to show up on time and switched out my TV for the new one in less than 30 minutes. Upon arrival the mount I purchased was not the best mount, and not only did Quincy order me the correct wall mount he didn't charge me for having to come out a second time and mount the TV. Last week I Googled local TV Mounting services and came upon a site called Thumbtack. This site allows you to enter your information and the type of services you're needing to receive quotes from local vendors. After submitting my request I immediately started receiving quotes. From the 5 quotes I received I one from "All Wires Hidden". This wasn't the lowest quote, but I was impressed by everything that was included in his quote and the reviews I saw on the site. I sent an email to Quincy who's the installer and he responded immediately. I went ahead and made an appointment for Sunday. My basement was finished 4 years ago with prewiring and install of TVs/Receivers etc. I lost signal to my main TV and was told by the previous install man "I'll get there when I can" After a week of phone tag, I contacted Quincy. 2 days after our first email exchange, he was at the house diagnosing the problem. He purchased all the equipment I needed for the project after first sending me an email quotation for labor and materials that was very reasonable. He installed a new receiver, hooked the endless wires behind it and reprogrammed my universal remote. He also mounted a new speaker bar and shelf in a different room. Not an spec of dry wall dust anywhere! During the install, he answered at least 4 phone calls helping recent customers with new systems who needed help "how do I turn on room 2?" Quincy did an awesome job mounting our 55 inch living room tv. I called a couple weeks in advance to set my appointment and Quincy informed me of his costs and asked some basic questions. I didn't already have a mount so he sent a link to the $20 amazon mount he prefers to use. Atlanta Friday Traffic got the best of him on the way to my appointment (happens to me all the time) but he kept me in the loop on his ETA and arrived pretty promptly. It took him a little more than an hour to get everything installed/situation and he even helped us optimize our tv settings! Hung the TVs exactly where we wanted, hid the wires, moved the outlet, and just a nice guy to work with. I wish I could do a negative star because my tv is still not hung. He was late , super late. Came in with multiple excuses, asked could he leave to take his girl to do her job and that he would come back. Stated he would be back around 6 and never should up. Called Him, infamous me Quincy , and he gave me so much BD it's crazy as well as had is girl on the speaker phone interjecting. This is an example of why it's hard to spend money within our people. He was out the next day, arrived during the window discussed, and was done with the work quickly. The results are extremely high-quality. On top of that, his pricing was extremely reasonable. We wanted to also have them mounted so I first called Geek Squad at Best Buy to get a price but they were too high. So I searched and called All Wires Hidden on Google. Showed up late. Scratched my wall with equipment. Did not secure the wires behind the TV well at all although my husband asked if he had velcro to attach the cable box to the TV in the back. He said no and that we could buy some ourselves. Isn't that what I was paying him to do??? Instead he just draped the wires around the TV without securing them with any velcro as we were accustomed to when we had other TV's mounted. When I told him the TV was crooked he proceeded to jerk the TV around and the cable box fell from behind the TV, scuffed the wall and broke. I had to then travel over an hour to exchange this expensive google fiber box the next day so I could have TV since him dropping it damaged the hardware inside of the box. The TV was working fine until I asked him to adjust the TV and the box fell from behind the TV for the SECOND time I might add. I'm wondering what he expected to happen since he didn't secure the box to the TV. If I hadn't asked him to adjust the TV he would've been fine leaving the box not well secured behind the TV and possibly falling on my kids in the future because at this point his phone was ringing off the hook and he was late for his next appointment, per his conversation, and would be leaving in 10 minutes once he finished here. I thought he was rushing because he, in my opinion, had more than 10 minutes worth of work left. I think it was then when he decided to do a half a** job to make it to the next job ASAP. After we confirmed with google customer service, while he was still here, that the box had been damaged beyond repair and needed to be swapped out, he said sorry and that "I have to get to the next job" and left. I guess the positives were that we didn't have to pay, although he wasn't getting any money from me and he at least seemed like he was trying to fix the TV after he broke it. I guess that's the price he had to pay for rushing and it ended up costing him more time. I would not use him again. read more
