Curt arrives next day to do the ROUTINE toilet flange replacement. Curt completes the job in 45 minuets. Great. I meet Curt at his truck to pay, I have $20 in my hand for a tip. Curt hands me a bill for $780. Curt labeled the flange replacement a "custom job." It was not custom by any definition. I don't know if I was charged for the day before when Tanner could not do the work. The bill stated "custom job $780.00 plus tax. No breakdown for parts and labor. Parts were 1 pvc toilet flange, 1 pvc 3 inch 90, 1 3 inch pvc union and approximately 2 feet of 3 inch pvc pipe. I will guess on the heavy side for parts at $75. So labor was $705 for the 45 minuets of work. Neurosurgeons in Washington state average $378 an hour. I called Curt the next day. Not much to be said about the bill. Get the estimate, get the second opinion! I'm an idiot. I kept the $20. Extremely unprofessional and disturbing experience…read more An electrician Dallas from this company came to my home, inspected several electrical concerns, and gave verbal observations and recommendations. After the visit, I requested a basic written summary of what was inspected, what was observed, and what was recommended. The company refused to provide any written findings, technician notes, estimate, or service summary. The receptionist Kaitlyn said they would not provide a letter because they would then have to "back up" what the electrician said. She told me to submit my own audio recordings, video recordings, and text messages instead. She also refused to transfer me to the electrician, the owner. During the conversation, she was openly hostile, dismissive, and used profanity, including words such as "fuck" and "bitch." I also experienced her tone and comments as racist and discriminatory toward me as an Indian woman. I repeatedly explained that I was not asking the company to make up or certify an unsupported diagnosis. I was asking for a factual record of the visit: what the electrician checked, what he observed, what he told me, and whether further testing was needed. Instead of addressing the request professionally, the receptionist told me, in substance, that I could do whatever I wanted and that the company would not provide anything in writing. This raises a serious question: why send a licensed electrician, provide verbal opinions and recommendations, and then refuse to document the visit or allow the customer to speak with the technician or owner? The combination of refusing basic service documentation, blocking access to management, using profanity, and making me feel racially targeted was completely unacceptable. I would strongly advise customers to confirm in writing before hiring this company whether they will provide technician notes, findings, recommendations, estimates, and a professional escalation path if there is a dispute.

When the plumber arrived, he took a look at our situation and immediately knew what was wrong. Instead of charging us, he explained to my husband how to fix the problem himself if he would rather choose that option. My husband was very appreciative as he would rather fix the issue himself. The issue was just as the plumber had described and my husband was able to resolve the problem. To know that this business was not just out to make money and charge us for coming out to our house was such a relief and so appreciated.

We had requested that we have 2 estimates written up: one with the bbq line and one without. This was stated when the appt was made over the phone as well as requested to the tech when he was here. Unfortunately neither estimate was sent for over a week. The receptionist/PM Roxanne who I spoke to on the phone was very friendly and accommodating. She got the estimate emailed to me quickly after requesting it, but then I had to contact them again in order to get the additional estimate that didn't have the bbq line included. Of the 3, these guys were the most expensive estimate I received for the work. The cost was 2x more than the mid price option. They may do great work, but we didn't get that far. I guess there is a reason people tell you to shop around for plumbing work!
