Ordered the Schweinshaxe which was fantastic, came with two sides, got the potato pancake and cream of celery soup. Soup was delicious. Potato pancake was good. Rebecca was my server and she checked in often, for the soup she offered Phat Habanero hot sauce which paired well with everything, the spice level was good and had a good flavor as well. Locally produced and available for purchase at $6 a bottle. The pork shank was perfectly cooked and big enough for two to share. Overall an excellent dinner spot. Will have to go back again to try some of the other authentic German food.

Which i personally like, along with the great beer selection. The staff here is always welcoming and th manager very kind and hard worker. Unfortunately, the only down side is the waitress that was keep nuzzling her nose and then touch our plates. This part was (I don't like to say disgusting, where there is food involved) upsetting, definitely not hygienic nor following the standard rules of the hospitality. I'm sorry for the owners. And others patrons if they experienced something like we did.

Kids and dogs were everywhere on the large outdoor patio. The inside space is smaller but a bit quieter as well. I liked that they had some non beer options including wine. I got a red wine that was pretty good. For food I got the Greek garden salad with cucumber, kalamata olives, mixed greens, artichoke hearts, cucumber, peppers, red onion, pepperoncinis & feta cheese. It was a really hefty size and everything tasted delicious. Prices were super reasonable as well. Service was fast and friendly. Parking is street parking and they have a small parking lot.

The food was great, but the hospitality was what really stood out. Our waiter, Quinten, was incredibly kind and went completely above and beyond for our family. When we mentioned that our son loves fire trucks, he actually ran over to the local firehouse to see if they might be willing to let us come by and see the trucks. They said yes -- and it turned into such a special and unexpected part of our day. That kind of kindness means so much, especially during a trip that already carries a lot of emotion for our family. Quinten didn't have to do any of that, but he took the time to make our son feel special. Great food, wonderful atmosphere, and truly top-notch hospitality. If you're in Pacific Beach, definitely stop here -- and if you get Quinten as your waiter, you're in very good hands!

We went back down and ordered food and a couple of beers. Service was exceptional, food was delicious and looked gorgeous. Was very impressed by this place! Highly recommend. We ordered ahi tuna nachos 10/10!!!! We also ordered the fish tacos with fries 6/10 I feel as if the fish tacos were lacking a bit of flavor? Maybe a tad overcooked I Evan added the pineapple salsa into it.

As a hometown…read morecompany, what really sets them apart is their dedication to organic ingredients and traditional artisan baking methods. I was able finally stopped by the Encinitas backyard location. The store has a pretty good line up of pre-made lunch sandwiches alongside their classic breakfast and savory pastries (the turkey arugula sandwich was fantastic). They also serve espresso and coffee, making it a great morning stop for breakfast. the shop is set up as a grab-and-go spot, though I'd love to see a couple of outdoor tables added in the future so customers can sit and enjoy their food. Highly recommend stopping in!

Prager Bros is one of these sneaky good bakeries that keeps it simple and nails it!…read more We began by buying their sourdough breads which, if you're like me, is just an excuse to eat butter. Ok, PB sourdough stands on it's own AND gives me every excuse to eat some more butter! Toasts up nice no matter what you like from a soft to burnt scale. But the sourdough was the gateway drug for me. It's impossible to go into the Prager Bros bake shops and avoid seeing something even more additive. For me, the almond croissant just sings the perfect duet with a good cup of coffee. They rotate in some scones that are equally tempting. The honey walnut, limited offering, was my favorite until they stopped making it. The seasonal scone (date and coconut) is more than a fine substitution. They serve baguette sandwiches that are crispy crunchy and delicious. Highly recommend them.....the danger is you won't be able to drive by one. Heck, you get hooked enough, when you get in your car your Waze may prompt you with the time and distance to Prager Bros. Could be worse I suppose! You're welcome!
