After checking out another brewery up the road we decided to come here on a Friday night around 7:30 and it was busy! It seemed like a lot of families come here. Like a lot. Kids and dogs were everywhere on the large outdoor patio. The inside space is smaller but a bit quieter as well. I liked that they had some non beer options including wine. I got a red wine that was pretty good. For food I got the Greek garden salad with cucumber, kalamata olives, mixed greens, artichoke hearts, cucumber, peppers, red onion, pepperoncinis & feta cheese. It was a really hefty size and everything tasted delicious. Prices were super reasonable as well. Service was fast and friendly. The Cobb salad is always tasty Others had the Carnitas tacos and gave them high marks We beet the crowds by coming a little earlier this time which I highly recommend if you want to get in & out faster and it's less noisy. My girlfriend and I were in the neighborhood so decided to drop by for a Saturday afternoon drink and snack. The place is spacious with indoor and outdoor seatings. Location, location, location. Being right next to Armstrong I was so wanting to love this place. As I spend most weekends gardening and somehow we always seem to end up at Armstrong at least once, which could turn into a beer (or two). I figured a good test would be to take the family here for lunch. That was when the first trouble began. After struggling with parking, we entered and the atmosphere was a little odd, it didn't feel inviting... We first tired the outside area, which was very large - but also a little hot and there were tons of dogs. We ventured inside and while it was nicer, it was super loud. We eventually found a calmer spot and I went and ordered the food. I have to say the food was the best part of the brewery. We ordered the Beach House Salad and Meat Lovers Pizza. The Salad was super fresh while the Pizza was delicious but a little bit greasy. My family loved the food. My dream of Armstrong and a Beer was one step closer to being achieved.... With every brewery the most important part is to have a solid Beer. Now I've seen various people pick up Coronado Brewing at my local Liquour store, so figured this would be a slam dunk.... I looked at the menu and tried to find a Stout, I was informed there wasn't any on Tap so I decided to stick with the IPAs. The first was Weekend Vibes, which was okay but nothing special. Then by recommendation of the bartender I went with the Aloha Warrior. I was so disappointed, figured with the name it was going to be amazing. I ended up being a big boy and finished my beer, but I was really forcing myself to. I was a little shocked by the overall experience and even reached out to a close friend to see if he's been here. Sadly he confirmed having a similar experience. We both agreed food was good, but beer was just okay. The best part was the Salad. But everything felt very expensive. Worst the Beer was pretty average. Sadly, I don't think that my fam and I will be making this a regular stop. Ok so I love this spot when it comes to drinks!! The beer tenders are amazing and provide great service. The vibes are great for families and friends especially game days there are TV's. I am a huge fan of their ciders especially the passion fruit one when in season. Second note is about food. It is a hit or miss in my opinion but there are some good things. I would definitely stick with a pizza I love the crust very traditional. What I would not order are the tacos. I am very particular and think the tortillas make a big difference I got shrimp recently and I think I make them way better at home just being brutally honest, the tortillas I'm almost positive were the mission ones. This is my neighborhood brewery. Came here on a Sunday after pickleball. I ordered a flight. My husband got a pint. We shared the chicken Caesar salad and shared the turkey wrap with chips. The Caesar was delicious! You could taste the anchovies! Plenty of salad/dressing/cheese/croutons. The wrap was hearty. Food came out promptly. Love this brewery. The parking is NOT the best, and we did have to walk a ways to get here, but it was worth it. The set up is nice, they have an inside area with some cool merch, nice bartender, a look at the actual brewery set up, and then an outside area that is shaded. I love this brewery! My husband and I moved into the neighborhood across the street a few months ago and have walked over a handful of times already. We love that we can bring our pups with us as they have a large outdoor patio. I knew this wasn't going to be a full restaurant like the Coronado Brewing actually on Coronado and honestly assumed it was going to be just a brewery. However, I was so happy to learn that they do, in fact, serve food! While the menu is small, it's mighty! So far, we have stuck with sharing a BBQ pizza and the spinach artichoke dip. The pizza is quite good, but the spinach artichoke dip is the star of the show! It's so delicious that I actually ordered just that for dinner last time we went. I drool thinking about it! They also have a decent selection of beers and it's honestly a great spot to pop by for a casual meal and drinks at any time of day. We will definitely become regulars as long as we are living in Bay Park! read more

My shrimp tacos were a bit bland and the tortillas left a lot to be desired. The pizza tasted very similar to sbarros food court pizza. Came on a weekend, surprisingly I found parking easily on the street. The beer is good as always. We ordered a small Butcher shop and pepperoni pizza, as well as artichoke dip. The Artichoke dip came with nicely warmed pita slices as well as tortilla chips. It was cheesy and had a nice flavor and also a large amount. I found myself putting a lot of dip of each piece because if I put the normal amount I'd probably run out of chips and pita before the dip. I ended up using the pizza crust which was also great. The pizza was very good, light and spongy crust with just the right amount of crunch to it. The small was a good size for 1 person. It leans more toward Napolitano style pizza but not as wet which is always my complaint. Probably Napolitano style pizza but not a traditional domed pizza oven. The Butcher shop came topped with pepperoni, sausage and ham which provided lots of flavor. I think they could open a stand alone pizza shop with this type of pizza. Its been awhile since I've been here. The brewing area is now closed off from the bar area. There is both seating inside and out. Dogs are still allowed but only in the outdoor area (state law) the problem is that if you have a dog, you can only order food or beer inside, so be sure you come with someone who can watch your dog or order for your. They should come up with a way to order food or drinks from outside, maybe an iPad to place orders outside and note your table number on your order. There were also canned or bottled beer for purchase in refrigerators if you wanted to take some home with you. read more

I personally like more lively breweries and this felt more resvered. I wanted to try the Salty Crew beers since I had it before and I like their clothing. Beer was nice. Selection there was a little light on the stuff I usually like to drink. Nice outside area for pets. Dog friendly is really cool way to stand out and be accessible for some. The pizza here IS GREAT. We were recommended the California pizza by the bartender. It had an amazing garlic sauce instead of typicL tomato based sauce that was amazing. The beers had great flavor, but I'm not a connoisseur so I won't say too much. Their "light" beer seemed to have a very hazy IPA taste to it, though lighter, which O didn't prefer. We took our pup there and everyone was super nice about it. They don't let puppies inside, but totally accommodate for a good behaved "service" dog. One of my new favorites! Great location. Went here with my friend, and was so thrilled when we were seated by the fireplace without even asking. It was a breezy day and made our stay extra cozy. We enjoyed a few drinks, and also were delighted to be allowed to taste some other options. It's fun to try new things & makes the experience of going out all the more exciting. Huge outdoor and indoor seating area that is all seat yourself so prefer for large parties and if if you want to stay for hours and play games or stay for one beer and leave. Everything is ordered at the bar and you get your drink right away and they bring the food to your table. Beer was very cheap, and a flight of 4 is the same price as one large beer so it encourages you to try and really find what you want. Also the bartenders will let you try a few id you ask. Good I was beyond surprised how good it was. The wraps are my favorite so filling but also light great for lunch and come with a side of chips or a salad. Brand new location with lots of bright colors and greatly painted walls, was very inviting and made you feel happy. The first time I went the table shared a sampling of multiple appetizers, be careful which menu you browse online because not all options are available at both the tacos and nachos were both delicious and will be my go to order from now on! I'm down in SD with my brother we road the Surf Liner hoping to beat the traffic crush on I-5. Christmas Eve the kids took a bike ride and ended up here. The kids dropped me off after a Von's stop and here I am waiting for my lunch. The group is seated outside nice patio area, great for groups. First time in San Diego and my first time at a brewery, I have their orange wit beer before and loved it so it I decided to check out the brewery. We went on a Monday night so it wasn't so busy but there were still plenty of customers enjoying the food and beer. This place is supper cool, you can see the actually beer brewery and large containers. I ordered a beer flight which came with 4 choices and we also order a small pizza and their tacos. All the beers were awesome! My favorite would still be the orange Ave wit. I also enjoyed the IPA I tried as well. Definitely a cool place to come relax, watch some football or meet up with friends.
