For reasons I…read morecan't understand, I used to go all the way to FastFix kiosk in Garden State Plaza to get my watch batteries replaced... until today I thought about looking up a local vendor closer to where I live, and voila! found this jeweler in downtown Cliffside Park. First thing I noticed was just how polished and utterly spacious this shop was - something you just won't know passing by in a car. And I also noticed they carried a lot of high end products all set very nicely in their shop. A gentleman greeted me, quickly gave me a price to replace the watch, took it off me and went upstairs to work it. Took a bit less than 10 min and I was done. I asked earlier for polishing but for that he said I would have to leave it there and I wasn't planning on it at this time. If I had known such a shop was right under my nose, I should've gotten my wedding bands done here instead of in the mall. I would always support local and small businesses over chains and national retailers! I heartily recommend everyone getting fashionable jewelries high-end or even more casual, watches, polishing/repairs to go to D'Amore Jewelers. I definitely will be stopping by again to set my more expensive watch and get my rings polished here in the future.

I had the same bracelet repaired in this place for the same reason for less than twenty five dollars. Instead of going to Banter to buy my daughter's Christmas Gift I came here. I ordered a nameplate for her on Dec 9th and was assured that it would be there on time for Christmas. I called and text in the days leading up to Christmas and got the run around. Finally I showed up right before closing on Christmas Eve and was told there was an issue with the shipment and it wouldn't be ready by Christmas. The staff apologized and offered me a small necklace free of charge so my daughter had something to open, while promising that the necklace would be there the following week and they would reach out when it's ready. Now here I am, over a week later and I'm being sent to voicemail and my text messages are going unanswered. Be careful with purchasing custom items from this store. It's one thing to purchase something there and in stock, but for anything that will come in later, this store may or not provide your item.
