I do not appreciate the method in which the owner chooses to do his business. This company sent a…read morecard to our recently purchased home that said "We are scheduled to perform your upcoming service next week." I called to determine if the previous homeowner had prepaid and Mike told me no the previous homeowner did not pre-pay but they have been servicing the property. I agreed to a one time end of season application and paid for it. I didn't see much difference - but I just thought "whatever". I was then contacted by a woman named Nancy asking if I'd like to prepay for next season to save money on the applications that had been done to the property in the past. We went over the services and I agreed and asked if they took Venmo. She insisted coming to my house to pick up cash. I thought it was a bit bizarre, but I trust the previous homeowners and felt like if they used them they just be a reputable company. I completely forgot to get cash and Nancy showed up at my house. Her car was hoarded with Christmas Decorations and something just didn't seem right. At first I felt bad for forgetting to get the cash so I apologized and asked her if I could drop the money off tomorrow. She insisted on coming back another day. She even said I could leave the money somewhere out in my property and she would come and get it. I thought this was off also. The next day I was driving home from work and Nancy called me and said she was sitting outside my house waiting for me. It seemed desperate and pushy. The whole situation didn't sit right with me. I called the previous homeowner and he said he absolutely never used this company! Which means that the owner Mike LIED to me on the phone saying that he had been servicing the property. Then I came on here to yelp and see that there are some awful reviews and others who were scammed. I am SO GLAD I figured this out before I shelled out $815 in cash to some random woman in a hoarded out car. I called Nancy and said I would absolutely not be using their services. She was actually waiting in front of my house for me to get home from work to take my cash. I told her I knew they tried to scam me and lied to me about previously servicing my property. I got home after she had been sitting in front of my house. Thankfully she was not still here. This is unbelievable. Thankfully, I live next door to a NYS sheriff.

Sealed the likely entrance, built trap boxes ( YouTube... ) and used various baits. Rats are extremely smart and fast. He'd get the food but not caught. After a a few weeks I gave in and searched for an exterinator. The reviews about Joe prompted me to get in touch. The reviews describe him perfectly ! He came the next day. We spent almost 2 hours going around the house inspecting for evidence of entry points, nests, activity as well as getting to know each other. He is truly a nice guy who knows his craft ! Joe seemed impressed by my approach. Thought, based on what he saw, that there might only be the one and didn't see any obvious additional enrty points. He suggested a few new baits and traps and we decided to stay in touch before moving to poison. He refused payment for his time and advice. He promptly replied to my status texts over the next few days. Nobody caught, no success... until I got him ! Sent Joe pictures. Recieved a congratulations reply ! Now going to keep monitoring for a few weeks, traps set. Maybe my problem is solved. Fingers crossed my visitor didn't have friends and family.
