From our first phone conversation about our (not so) little pest issue, they were extremely patient and answered all of my questions. They even sent me research to back up one of their methods because I was unfamiliar with it. The first round of treatment was done by a fantastic young lady (loved seeing a woman by the way) who arrived early and helped me pack up and get everything ready since my husband was at work and we had only discovered this problem the day before. I mean she went from helping keep my baby calm to putting things in bags to even changing my cat's litter because he had to come with us! She spent double or triple the amount of time that normal exterminators do just helping and again, answering my questions. Later, I was really nervous about fitting in the second round of treatment with enough time to get things back in order because my entire family was coming to visit a few days after it was scheduled. As this was right near memorial day, the owner of the company, Matthew, was going to be out of town with his family. After explaining to him my dilemma, he made sure to leave his trip early enough that he was able to move my appointment up by one day to give me a little breathing room with the whole preparing for everyone to come. This company again went way above and beyond when he got there as he helped bring items down to my car so I didn't have to make so many trips and leave the baby alone. I am truly grateful for Matthew and his services and I don't know how we or our SUADE couch would have survived without them! I am a bug psycho... Specifically, a bed bug psycho. A friend from work stayed somewhere that had bedbugs. Then his office mate stayed with me one night. Since then, I have been terrified that I somehow contracted the bedbug. I found a bug in my bedroom tonight at 9 PM and I immediately started freaking out. I called Matt and he returned my call within minutes. I told him I was freaking out and he told me I could send him a picture of the bug that I found. I sent him the picture, and with in seconds he called me back and told me it was not a bedbug. He is the only reason I will sleep sound tonight. It is amazing that he would go out of his way to analyze the bug I found without coming for an actual visit. He is obviously a man who does right by his customers and is not just in the business to make a profit. I trust him completely and I will reach out to him the next time I have a concern. He made what was an overwhelming process a safe, professional, efficient success.He will not only address your issues but he will do it in a manner that is lawful, ethical and safe. These people are absolute lifesavers. We thought we had found bedbugs in our new apartment, and called Beach Pest on a Sunday afternoon in more or less a state of total panic. The woman who answered the phone was incredibly kind and reassuring, and gave us her personal cell phone number to text her pictures. She got back to us within a minute not only with the good news that the insects weren't bedbugs, but with information on the bugs that were in the apartment. She also took the time to draw on the original photos we sent her to illustrate the parts of the insects that didn't resemble bed bug anatomy. We cannot thank these people enough, not only for their expertise, but also for their kindness and amazingly prompt responses to our questions. Not to mention the fact that they helped us free of charge (although we offered to pay for their services). Matthew came over to my place after we thought we had bed bugs. We had saved a random bug that was found on the bed and had quickly shown it to another exterminator a day earlier who told us it was bed bugs. When he came over he was polite and knolagable and with his tools and experience clearly showed us that it was not a bed bug. He spent the time to look over the rest of the house and we were very pleased to have an honest professional opinion that we do not have the bed bugs we thought. Matthew gave us his time and wouldn't take a penny from me when I offered...others as you see were ready to tell me I had bed bugs just to make money as the expense one will take if they indeed had them would be high! We contacted Beach Pest Control and spoke with the owner Matt and told him about our nest (hornets), by the top of our house. I was freaking out because it was near our bedroom window. Matt said he would come by and take a look. My husband was home and when Matt came to look at it, much to our surprise he took care of it right then and there. He even said he would come back in a day or so to take a look and make sure everything was ok. Amazing company to deal with. We had an increasing BEE (Yellow Jackets) Problem, They we're coming into the top of our front door....So I found Matt here on YELP....Came same day, Took care of the front of house & then removed 2 small hives in the back of house! The Bee's (Yellow Jackets) in the back were a little more "Violent" and tried to attack him, but he stayed until it was taken care of. He told us any problem I'll come back, So next day a few we're trying to come into from another area in the Window....Called Matt, Came ASAP....No Charge. Absolutely one of the best experiences I've had in the NYC area in a long time, which is not what you would first think when finding a bug in your apartment. I called Matthew during the dinner hour (probably slightly inconvenient for him) and he answered immediately. Matthew's a bug expert without a doubt. I had the very unfortunate experience of finding a bed bug in my home early this month. I called Beach Pest Control and they immediately identified the bug as a bed bug via a picture I texted them. Then they came right away the next day and treated my apartment. The exterminator was incredibly nice and knowledgable. He took his time to answer all my questions and gave a thorough inspection of my house. Their low prep approach is amazing (you don't have to bag up your entire house) and I never saw a bug again nor had another bite. My sister job requested that she check her apartment with a licensed canine dog for bed bugs because bed bugs was detected in in her locker at work. I got in touch with Matthew through the Web.
