I have a termite contract with Eliminex…read more I observed some recent termite activity and what I suspected might have been ant activity. I contacted the office and they were able to arrange a visit by technician. Unfortunately the original date had to be postponed because the technician called in sick. They were able to arrange a visit for the next day. The reassigned technician arrived on time. His name is Curtis are he was thorough, knowledgeable and helpful. He checked the traps and found a variety called citronella ants and lay down pellets. He inspected the walls and floors and found a new termite tube and was able to treat the problem. I recommend their service and staff.

You're gonna love this: So I came home to NY to visit my…read moremom. I got the general honey-do list from her. Fix the clothesline, replace a shingle, clear some brush.... and then one more thing... It seems her cat got feline lukemia. Instead of having her put-down, she took the cat home, set it down on her bed, and it wouldn't move. It just sat there in a daze. She ordered some chinese food delivery, answered the door, came back.... no cat. nowhere. She looked everywhere, and assumed it must have gotten out somehow. However, there's also a nice door to the attic that wasn't quite closed all the way. That was about a week before I arrived. It seems, the last thing on my honey-do list was to "can ya check up in the attic for the cat?" OK.... It's a big attic and it's about 200 degrees. I was in there rooting around in boxes for about 3 minutes and came out... "Nope, no cat". The next day, there were about 20 fat blowflys in the living room, crawling up from the baseboard heater. "I'll get to it tonight mom..." The next day, there were about 40. Finally, I went and got a face mask, some grabber tools, and started crawling around in the deep edges of the attic. We're talking military crawling about 2" of space in super hot fiber-glass filled air. They nailed the shingles through the roof, so about 3 inches from my head are hundreds of nails sticking out. All the way at the edge, there's a dip, where the bay-window kind of drops down a bit. I see some buzzing... I pull back the insulation a bit... ok, that's a cat tail... Pulling with my little grabber tool, it's practically falling apart, but not... I pull back more insulation. BOOM... about 3 inches from where my little grabber just snapped back is a wasp nest the size of a cantelope. So here I am, jammed between 2 rafters, it's about 200 degrees, I can barely move it's so tight, the air is now full of blowflys and I'm starting to vomit in my mask and just missed blasting apart a massive nest of wasps. needless to say, I decided to go back to being a geeky programmer and find someone with bigger balls than me!! So, who the heck is going to remove a wasp nest AND a dead cat!!??!! Believe it or not, not many would do both. Lots of wasp people, but almost all wanted the wasps to be "easily accessible". WTF? If it was easily accessible, my 70yr old MOM would have sprayed it. After some price shopping, Eliminex came in the cheapest of all the professional companies. I told them it could wait a day or so if necessary, and they should schedule it early morning, because it was so hot. They said, "No, our guys can handle it. We can have someone there today." wow... ok So that's nice and all, but then the guy shows up. I'm a bit suspicious because he's young and looks a bit rough... but hey, the guy's gonna take care of it. That guy fogged up the area from outside. first, calling in to see if the stuff was toxic to my dad (on oxygen) and kids, Then went up in the attic for about 30 minutes and came back with 2 bags. One with a nest and another with a cat. Then, my mom started asking all sorts of questions about various bees. She even came out with a baggie full of different dead bugs!! and asked him to identify them! The guy (derek) had all the answers. He knew what they ate, how dangerous they were, what they damaged, when they were active, etc... it was like the nature channel in my house. Then he cleaned up all his equipment and went home with a smile. It's tough dealing with dead pets and crazy old people with lots of questions, but this guy handled it very well. A definite credit to his company.

WARNING!!! Do not use this company! FRAUDULENT!…read more This company serviced my house once and has been charging my credit card for two years! My accountant overlooked it, the company will not issue a credit or cancel my account! I've been calling speaking with management since January to cancel and they keep sending me bills and racking up monthly charges although no one comes to service. My husband went to their office in person and the building is empty & for lease!

I am beyond disappointed with suburban exterminating, and that is an understatement…read more. I had a few cockroaches in my kitchen that we're coming out at night so I decided to call thinking it was going to be a very simple thing.. The salesman John came over and iI explained to him that I needed to do something that was animal friendly since I have pets. He told me it was not a problem, and there was a gel that you could put in the cabinets... Right before he was leaving, I asked Him to look at a crawlspace to double check for mice and when he came back, he told me that I had rats. I thought this was strange because I don't hear anything in the walls. He proceeded to tell me it was going to be a very big job and he went to the basement and he opened up the drop ceiling. He told me there was a very big dead rat. I asked to see it, but he said that this was going to be a job for the cleanup crew And that the rats were most likely having their babies in the insulation and they were Going to need to come in and do a big cleanup of the crawlspace and they could remove the dead rats. I was mortified. He also told me that there were some rings of liquid on the drop ceilings, which were most likely rat. Urine.. Then he told me that it was going to be a couple of month process for the cockroaches and I needed to remove everything out of any kitchen cabinet, And all the bathrooms in any place with the sinks. He told me this was Follow up every two weeks and I should just leave everything out of my cabinets for at least a six week. Period. I went and I bought boxes and I hired two people to help me and we literally removed everything to prepare for the visit of the Tech Chris. When Chris arrived, he told me that my three days of work and effort of boxing everything and paying my helpers $400 was all in being because if you use the gel treatment, it is not necessary and you only need that if you do the Spray. We have not chosen the spray because it was not animal friendly... So it took me three days unpacking everything and then it took Days to put everything back for nothing because the technician gave me the wrong information. Then he proceeded to tell me I only had a few cockroaches, and he had only seen a few behind the fridge and he put a few dabs of gel in the hinges of some of the cabinets Less than a half hour. Then he went down to the basement and he said there was absolutely no evidence of rats, and I asked him to take out the drop ceiling Where John had told me there was a dead rat and he said there was absolutely no rats and no rats in any insulation and he could see possibly some old mouse poop that was over 6 years old. he also said that the rings in the ceiling were not caused by rat urine, and that was where my AC condenser was dripping. I told him that I had paid extra for the clean up of The insulation And there was nothing to clean up. His whole visit took less than an hour and a half, and there was no cleanup at all, and barely any cockroaches like I was told No rats that he assured me. The salesman is a scam artist Who tries to pray on women who he thinks he can scare into alerting them that their problem Is worse than it is. He literally got me for $2600 for an hour and a half visit where they sprayed a little gel behind my refrigerator and stove and in a few Hinges of cabinets... They also sprayed a little on the outside of the house. 60s of my summer on the most beautiful days were completely gone with packing and unpacking boxes And then waiting for the technician to come. By the way, the technician Chris was honest. I called the manager and Them at suburban and he said he was going to definitely give me a refund and he was so sorry and it has been over two weeks and there has been no refund.. I called a woman I spoke to her on the phone last week and she told me someone would call me back the next day and they never did.. They scammed me for $2600 and convinced me I had a problem that I did not have And I lost 60s of the summer packing up my entire kitchen and bathroom, which I will not get back. The manager said he was making sure I had a refund and I have not heard anything back or a follow up or even so much as a check-in to make sure that I had calmed down.... The cockroach problem by my kitchen sink is still here and I haven't left with a very bad feeling... I would not recommend this company to anyone. Not only was my money stolen, but six days of my summer, which I will never get back. Why would they tell someone who was using gel in the cabinets and I made it very clear it could only be gel because I had animals...... Why would they tell them the wrong information that they need to remove absolutely everything out of their kitchen. I have a very big kitchen, and this was a nightmare process. I am very upset. Sent
