He came over made the assessment and placed and set traps with a camera so they knew when they captured the squirrels. After catching 2 squirrels and putting stronger wire over the entry point. I contacted…read moreMatthew on a Saturday morning out of the blue for a bed bug scare (saw all the positive reviews on Yelp), and within 30 minutes he was in our home, wearing a face mask (covid 19), booties, and flipping upside down our mattress, spring box, cushions, looking for evidence in every corner of the rooms we thought were infested. After finding no evidence of bed bugs, he took to inspecting a glue board we had left in our basement, using a portable microscope connected to his cell phone, and started to describe what he was seeing there - what species of mites there were, what are their hosts, etc. He took a more comprehensive look at our house inside out, asked several questions, and then urged me to go to get my bites checked by a doctor, which I did in the afternoon. This was the best advice I could have been given, as the doctor identified my bites and rash as coming from exposure to poison ivy (even though I hadn't touched weeds in over two weeks!). The bottom line is that, thanks to Matthew, we were able to have a trustworthy expert in our home check bedbugs and other bugs in no time, educate us for nearly an hour, and steer us in the right direction. This guy is not after your bucks, but rather wants to solve your bug problems the right way, and while being very pleasant to interact with. No termites, no ants, regular service. Everyone was happy. We moved to a new house which apparently had some wasps getting into the house seemingly through the chimney. Unfortunately, this is when covid hit so when I called up they said they wouldn't do any treatments inside the house, and somewhat to my surprise, they wouldn't go on the roof to treat the chimney either. After spraying around outside the house a few times the wasps did not go away. Finally, Eric shipped me a bug bomb to set off in the chimney. I wasn't really comfortable doing this myself but I really feel I had no choice. For good measure, I also bought a pack of bug bombs from home depot to set off one in the attic the chimney was running through. Finally, after all that, the wasps seemed to be gone. Later that fall when we did our chimney cleaning it turned out there was a wasps nest in the chimney cap. Lo and behold, this spring, literally on the first day of our contract service, we had wasps in the house, and we've had them consistently coming in for weeks. Every time I call Eric implores ME to find the nest. "Look around outside while you're doing yard work," he says. "Try to follow them". I've been going outside for weeks at various times of day and just walking circles around my house. To this day I have not seen even one wasp outside. I realize this makes spot treatments difficult, but clearly whatever is being sprayed outside is not helping. Every time I call it's the same thing. "look for the wasps". I asked if we should set off another bomb. He told me he would *send me another one if that's what I want*. *I* Don't want to do anything. That's why I called an exterminator. *I* don't know if setting off bug bombs is the appropriate treatment, which is why I framed it as a question. There are now two carpenter bees nests in my yard. The last time I called Eric about a bee's nest in the yard, he told me there would be an extra charge to come take care of it. I don't really know why. Arnie had told me visits in between were no extra charge. Maybe things change? Maybe because it's in the yard and not on the house? I don't really know. In any case, not wanting to incur an additional charge I bought some products from home depot and tried to treat the nests myself. Apparently, it did not work, and this morning I discovered a carpenter bee crawling around on the fireplace inside the house. It's been a year, and I still have wasps in my house. Now I have another type of bee coming in and Frankly, I'm just not confident this is going to be taken care of. I need someone who is going to come help diagnose the problem, make a plan of action, and course-correct when it doesn't work. I appreciate that I'm not the professional here, but this "spray and pray" tactic just doesn't seem to be working.

The salesman John came over and iI explained to him that I needed to do something that was animal friendly since I have pets. He told me it was not a problem, and there was a gel that you could put in the cabinets... Right before he was leaving, I asked Him to look at a crawlspace to double check for mice and when he came back, he told me that I had rats. I thought this was strange because I don't hear anything in the walls. He proceeded to tell me it was going to be a very big job and he went to the basement and he opened up the drop ceiling. He told me there was a very big dead rat. I asked to see it, but he said that this was going to be a job for the cleanup crew And that the rats were most likely having their babies in the insulation and they were Going to need to come in and do a big cleanup of the crawlspace and they could remove the dead rats. I was mortified. He also told me that there were some rings of liquid on the drop ceilings, which were most likely rat. Urine.. Then he told me that it was going to be a couple of month process for the cockroaches and I needed to remove everything out of any kitchen cabinet, And all the bathrooms in any place with the sinks. He told me this was Follow up every two weeks and I should just leave everything out of my cabinets for at least a six week. Period. I went and I bought boxes and I hired two people to help me and we literally removed everything to prepare for the visit of the Tech Chris. When Chris arrived, he told me that my three days of work and effort of boxing everything and paying my helpers $400 was all in being because if you use the gel treatment, it is not necessary and you only need that if you do the Spray. We have not chosen the spray because it was not animal friendly... So it took me three days unpacking everything and then it took Days to put everything back for nothing because the technician gave me the wrong information. Then he proceeded to tell me I only had a few cockroaches, and he had only seen a few behind the fridge and he put a few dabs of gel in the hinges of some of the cabinets Less than a half hour. Then he went down to the basement and he said there was absolutely no evidence of rats, and I asked him to take out the drop ceiling Where John had told me there was a dead rat and he said there was absolutely no rats and no rats in any insulation and he could see possibly some old mouse poop that was over 6 years old. he also said that the rings in the ceiling were not caused by rat urine, and that was where my AC condenser was dripping.
