What a horrible company to deal with. The absolute worst company! So incompetent, they make so many errors in the claims and they are so nonresponsive. All their customer service or most is outsourced in India or somewhere, they do not understand English. They are a nightmare to deal with, never call or write back, make tons of errors. Give lowball estimates for claims, and if you have damage from one of their customers, they treat you like dirt, never get back to you. Their adjusters are the worst, and their supervisors never call you back. This company is mediocrity at its worst for a big company, they make so many errors. This has been the most frustrating insurance experience I have ever had. I submitted all required documents to Allstate for my accident claim, including the police report, photos, videos, witness information, and repair estimate. Despite my multiple follow-ups and sharing of all email communications, I have received no real support or resolution. Their continued silence, lack of cooperation, and ignoring my case have caused me serious stress and disappointment. No responsible company should treat a customer this way. AND STILL LIVING THIS WAY AFTER 9 MONTHS I cannot believe how your company and, supposedly, higher-ups can treat people like this. My story will be told, and I am beyond mad. . It has now been 9 months of heating an outside area while living in chaos in my 3-bedroom house. My 2-bedroom home is torn up because your company wants to depreciate my home due to non-matching shingles. My shingles have been discontinued, and your employees have been horrific. I have never dealt with a company that is so unprofessional and does not care about its clients. I am done being pushed away and treated this way. I matter, and people need to hear my story. I also want to bring up the last incident related to the Itel sample story. The first sample was sent out before the ice storms, snow, and bad weather conditions, and I waited over a month. Now, it has been a month since I made three phone calls and was told the package was lost. However, after calling FedEx at your office, I learned that it had been delivered. Mark indicated that it was lost, which essentially accused your other employee of lying. I am willing to pay again to have someone come out and patch my roof with another shingle. Despite three calls to Mark, I have received no response from him. I am now beyond mad, and this will be heard. I will give this email until Friday for a response from someone in your corporate office, and I expect results. We are older women living in this chaos. Is this okay with you? So if you have an accident caused by a person who has Allstate insurance. this is the service you can expect from them.You pay for your car rental, and they reimburse you up to a point. They determine what type of car or SUV you deserve for your inconvenience and it may not be the caliber of what you drive. The also have you submit photos of your damage and based on some obscure chop shop offer you a ridiculously low amount and tell you it should take one day to fix. By ridiculous I mean less than 375.00 and there is a gap between the bumper and the vehicle. And they say one day to fix a bumper that was hit while we were stopped. I am sure the other driver has no idea what we are dealing with and while the agents are nice, their policies are horrid. Geico actually treats customers way better and if you get in an accident that is not your fault, hope they don't have Allstate. read more

Do yourself a favor, AVOID Allstate insurance. When this company SCREWS UP, it sets records. My daughter's car was determined a loss after a front-end accident. She's fine. The Allstate agent said she'd her she'd receive a check in about "10 days." After nearly THREE months, a check arrived. We spent an insane amount of time, begging for the check. THREE months. Since my name was on the title (I bought her the car), Allstate seriously dropped the ball. CarMax was due a payoff check from Allstate. They sent one with both mine and my daughter's names. CarMax couldn't process the two name check and sent it back. I had NO IDEA this was going on. Allstate did received the 2 name check, but DIDN'T correct the names and send the CHECK BACK to CarMax. CarMax began reporting ME to all three credit agencies. This went on for 45 days. A week ago, checking mail from my American Express account, my FICO score had suddenly dropped from 805 to 708. Yes, about a HUNDRED points. I freaked. I called Trans Union credit. After two days of research, it was clear the delinquent reports from CarMax killed my credit. The sloppy-hands people never re-sent acheck to CarMax. Pretty nauseating, hm? After making calls to the executive staff at Allstate, I got someone in the executive department to help. Five days later, a check went out. So CarMax was now paid, BUT, my credit score is apparently RUINED? I have to retain an attorney to try and recoup my excellent credit. What if I can't get it back? Allstate legal says they "can't help," even though NONE OF THIS was my fault. This company doesn't care how their ineptitude impacted my finances. The incompetence is simply stunning! Was with them for a year and 5 months.When I called to cancle they said I owed nothing.Two months later was in collections for 57.16. No notice or anything.I called to talk to them and they said I owed nothing again and opened a case the case worker called and said I owed the money and was the most rude customer service rep ever.I will never go back. read more

The worst communication ever! I have been dealing All-State since 12/22/2022 and am still waiting to reach someone on the phone. Every time I call, the person's voice says they are out till so-so date. I called on the return date, and not one time ever return my phone call. I have left my claim number and voice mail each time. He's never in the office doesn't return calls and when he does he's disrespectful and not helpful. I give him negative 00. He never answers his phone. He doesn't return my calls. He is taking his time in getting the paperwork to the insurance company who is going to pay for the damages. He works for Lyft and what happened was i was rear ended by someone and i was driving a rental from Lyft. The policy is if you return a vehicle that is damaged no matter who fault it is you are responsible. Once the repairs are done then they will send the paperwork to the responsible insurance company. The thing is he is taking his time. Terrible service. Him and every colleague that i have spoken to is rude, they hang up on you, the connection is bad. I wish they were here so i could walk in and find out who their supervisor is because everyone from Allstate that i have spoken to has had an attitude problem. Seriously. I don't understand why. answering system always says sorry didnt catch that . calling the corporate office or headquarters is awful as you get the generic 800 number answering system. i did not want my local office.i wanted the corporate office you shmucks. i want someone in charge to call me back. if any lawyer sees this review i would like to file a fraud lawsuit against allstate . this is the worst insurance. the local office lies or is just clueless. the 800 number picked generic for my policy to be set uup. the local office keeps blaming them for setting it up. my rates i was told are 265 dollars higher every 6 months? i think? due to two "accidents" on my driving record and the agent said to check police reports . only thing is, there are no police reports because there are no accidents. i was also told by the local agent to call DOT to question them. i called DOT they said there is NOTHING on my driving record. i want all the overcharges refunded for nonexistent "accidents" DOT said allstate is not pulling my full driving record or they would see no accidents. someone needs to correct this and make it right. read more

As you may know...not my first run-in with All State....actually my 3rd in 3 years! Last term I received a bill (due upon receipt) for $15 for ??? . Of course, I called my agent and asked...."what's that for? " He had no idea...so he said he'd check with corporate. About two weeks later he called back/emailed and said, "You dropped one of your vehicles (I'd sold it) and you lost your multi-car discount." I had wrongly assumed that dropping a vehicle would get me a refund. Opposite...I 'owed' so they sent me a bill...with no explanation! After chatting with my agent...I reluctantly paid ... the same day I received the info. New Term comes...I see my insurance has gone up substantially.....I also note a discount I'd previously received is not there. When I call to inquire my agent says it's because I 'paid a bill late' I remind him that I never pay late and always pay in full each term...a 'good payer' by all accounts. He tells me AS has taken my discount because I didn't pay the 'unexplained bill' on time. I call corporate and get a 'no' (never says yes....) man who ten seconds after I tell him my story and say I'd called my agent tells me my 'mistake' was not calling my agent. Seeing that he is NOT listening, I end my call with him immediately (hang up). I then post on FB using my #ALLSTATEFAIL tag and tell my story. I'm contacted back by 'Jesse' who leaves me a VM at 12:30p even though I clearly state I want a call back after 3 pm. We go through 4 VM tags with me leaving messages stating specifically, "You won't reach me unless you call back after 3 pm", yet Jesse returns all my calls between 12-1p. Once we talk, Jesse is of no help, towing the company line that All State needs to follow company regulations to ensure that all customers are treated equally. After this experience, I can only assume that means all All-State Customers are screwed over and All-State doesn't take any responsibility. I end my call and begin looking for a replacement...I'm even willing to pay MORE just to get away from All-State. A complete nightmare....a complete FAIL. #allstatefail#3 read more

Allstate Insurance Company is the worst, my son and I have been getting the run-a-round for a month when their insured ran the light and totaled my sons car. They do not return phone calls and when we have gotten in touch with someone we are receiving the wrong information. It took two weeks before the had someone to come out to get his car and another 4 days before they gave the body shop authorization to look at it. They offered him $50 on a rental car but told him to pay for it and they would reimburse him. The car was deemed totaled over 2 weeks ago but he has yet to receive the settlement for the car, money still has not been sent out. I received a power of attorney with incorrection information on it that they claim they received from the GA Dept of Revenue, however I have my Drivers License with my CORRECT information so there was no way they could have sent ALLSTATE incorrect information. I just tried to call the corporate office was on hold for 35 mins only to speak to a young lady who put me in a que to get "new insurance." This is the absolute worst experience with any insurance company that I have EVER had to deal with. read more
