No questions were asked to really determine the scope of the job or consideration for an in person estimate due to COVID-19. Allstar Windows were willing to provide an estimate in my home July 2021. We had Allstar Windows come to our recently purchased 1938 home to replace eight wood single glazed windows that appeared to be original units. They provided a bid to install Milgard single hung Tuscany windows. The owner Wade was very helpful answering all my questions and the two man team showed up on time and were very efficient, removing the old windows and installing the new ones over several hours. They cleaned up thoroughly afterward. We were told to expect minor painting touchup on both the interior and exterior of the original wood frames and we don't anticipate any problems. No more barking- or at least it cannot be heard when walking past my house, thanks to AllStar Windows. I had 17 aluminum windows and a 3-panel slider replaced. I'd say I'm in a whole new house but I recognize my furniture! Before, I could hear everyone outside, even from the park across the street. Every window felt like a cool mountain draft was blowing through somewhere and keeping me nice and chilly all day and night. Now, it is peaceful and warm. My husband cannot hear me call for him from the porch if the door is closed- unless he's just pretending he can't hear me, which is common, but other people don't seem to hear me either, so I'm convinced it's my airtight, beautiful new windows and doors. I had a large garden window in my kitchen that needed to be replaced and I chose All Star Windows for the job because of their outstanding reviews. I made an appointment for an estimate and the owner came out to take the measurements and discuss replacement options. He was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. The cost for the job was about $450 less than I was quoted from another business so I scheduled the installation. The two-man installation crew, led by Dustin, couldn't have been better. Dustin and Sammy were super friendly and they worked very quickly to remove the old window and install the new one, but then things slowed down (in a good way). Dustin painstakingly cut and fit the trim and support bracket molding which was made more difficult by the overlapping panels of my home's exterior. When they were finished, they meticulously cleaned the new window and their work area before going over the new window's features with me.These guys clearly know their business and they are a pleasure to work with! We are beyond happy with our new windows! When we requested them to come out and give us an estimate, Wade Winters, the owner, was out the next day. VERY professional, very thorough, and very fast! AMAZINGLY PRICED! We had put off for over 15 years getting new windows because of the price. Our house is a 1935 craftsman and the windows are/were old and thin. Wind whistling thru them, they'd rattle when the wind blew as well and absolutely no insulation at all! And so the hunt began. We were lucky when Kim, one of the All Star team members, told me that her team puts in windows! And the hunt was over! THEY ARE THE BEST! BEST PRICE! FASTEST TEAM! VERY PROFESSIONAL! ALL AROUND AMAZING! One guy would take the window out and as fast as it was out and the spot cleaned for the new window it was in! Then as fast as a window got installed it was caulked and the window washed! I was told it would take almost all day to get them in and done. They arrived at 8:30 a.m. and were DONE by 1:30!!
