I stood at the bar for far too long to get my beer, though there was no true traffic. I remember in the past there were bands every weekend, this Saturday night there was only a subpar disc jockey. Memories are a grand thing, they remind us of a magical time. But unfortunately, those memories don't live to the reality of a new generation. The Cork Room seems to have fallen victim to a disinterested next wave of drink patrons, leaving this establishment clinging to memories of what it was.
