My son and I are visiting out of town and after visiting Surfside Beach we are HUNGRY! This mom and pop shop is great!!! Atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Great customer service. The owners son took the time to explain their menu as they have other items. In addition they offer an indoor field for practice of any sport and a couple of jumpers. Again not lavish, but after a day with my boy this spot is perfect. Recommend anyone looking for an enjoyable day with the family eating delicious pizza. read more

Since the new ownership, it was better at first than it was in a while. There used to be a guy named Mark that was a manager there and he made amazing pizza. It was downhill after he left. We have given it a few chances and honestly its way overrated and way overpriced! Calzones may still be good? Pizza is nothing special. their thin crust is actually better than their regular pan crust but neither of them really have any flavor! Usually the pan crust is so wide it takes up most of the surface area of the pizza but its like flavorless wasted material. Salads are okay, but sometimes they just put too much eggs and olives on them. Allstars is not a first choice any more. But then Lake Jackson really has no good other options. There is a list of places that have pizza, but not good. Pearland has some good places, like Russos for example. read more

Pizza was skimpy on the ingredients , I even told them the pizza was lacking they didn't seem To care at all I was there on September 24 that 4 pm read more

My family and I went to a birthday party late at night. The kids were playing. So me and my daughter watching the basketball on tv. And the guy that was working tonight just turn it off and making us very uncomfortable comfortable to be there. Their pizza is so good, but I don't care for rude customer service!!! read more

We booked for a party and absolutely loved it! The workers were amazing, very friendly, accommodating and super kind. I would definitely book with them again. read more

My wife ordered a spinach Alfredo pizza for lunch yesterday and we dined in. She got really sick last night in her stomach and she had eaten nothing else that evening. I went back today because I was scared someone else could get sick and was told by the manager that I should have taken her to the hospital, that she couldn't do anything with out proof. I ask for the owners contact information and she gave me his email address. This all sounds calm but she was very rude in the process and turned and walked off leaving the conversation unfinished. I have no idea what provoked her, but I do know that a customer with a health concern should not be treated this way. I did get ahold of the manager and he said that he will look into what transpired. No he did not offer a refund. read more

Super quick delivery, pizza was delicious and delivery guy was very professional and sweet. Will definitely order again in the future.

The young lady that took our dinner delivery order to Surfside was very sweet and loved her reaction when we ordered the apple pizza. Lol. She said it was her favorite and she was right, it was quite delicious. We also ordered the Cowboy supreme with black olives pizza. The outer crust was good, however, the pizza crust was too doughy and there wasn't enough sauce. I'm usually a light on the sauce kinda gal but the sauce was almost non existent. The delivery driver was very nice and polite. Will try them again. Maybe order something different like calzones and wings and most definitely the apple pizza. read more

The pizza has flavor as does the sauce ! I ordered the cowboy supreme and found it had a nice crunch. I'm not from the area so I have to say this is my first Htown pizza. Maybe pizza means something different to me, and so I wouldn't take me three stars too seriously, unless your finicky about crust. Mine was like a frozen pizza crust. read more

All Star Pizza - Hand toss crust - Pizza Near Me - Clute, Texas

Quick service, pizza was great either way a plethora of topics. Wings were also very good, if in area again I'll definitely partake .

Everytime my fiance and I come we specifically ask for barely and cheese and 9.5 times out of 10 pizza looks like they completely disregard that and make it with the normal amount of cheese. Not asking for a lot, in fact asking for less, the only ones to get it right are the younger people working that day. On top of that I tip in hopes they make my order how I've ordered and continue to get let me down. Do absolutely love when they make it correct tho. read more

I come down here all the time delivering loads to the Port of Freeport. I'm usually held up for 3 to 4 days and they order at least once from these guys. They do it right, fast and friendly and a quality product and this is coming from somebody who lives in the north. I had my reservations at first as I ordered a Calzone. They do not make a traditional calzone with Ricotta but don't let that scare you away. I've also had many other items off the menu and everything was very good. Look people I am a foodie. I travel 200 days a year. Fuck the chain restaurants like Domino's, Papa Johns etc. SHOP LOCAL!!. Better products and service. They've got my business as long as I'm here! read more

All Star Pizza - Calzone - Pizza Near Me - Clute, Texas

Good pizza wings were alright not the best burned up a little. Staff was good and attentive.

Called in a pick-up order, good service over the phone and had the order ready right on time, friendly kids working there. The wings were really bad, kinda slimy. The pizza was ok, the crust is just a kinda bland recipe or something, maybe a little better than Pizza Hut or Dominos. Probably won't try again unfortunately. read more

I love this place. I don't even order from Pizza Hut or papa John's anymore. Great pizza and wings.

I decided to give this place a try and glad! The pizza was really good and the apple pizza was super yummy! The only issue I had was how they threw the extra sauce cups on top my pizza , which kinda made me think of contamination , also they was dates wrote on them with permanent marker face down on the pizza .... I just think they should put things like sauce cups on the side is all , but pizza was good will be back! read more

I am not usually one that loves pizza. I can take it or leave it. Well, I just moved into an apartment and ask someone here "where's a good place for pizza around here?" He said, "Everybody likes All Star Pizza." I thought to myself, "Ok, I guess I'll try it." Well, let me tell ya; it was amazing! I called in an order to the Clute location, and the guy on the phone could not be nicer. It was delivered hot and was so delicious, I ordered another one tonight! haha....So from a person that said, "I'm not a fan of pizza, to ordering twice in the same week, I'd say that makes me their fan for life! Thank you All Star Pizza!! read more

Best pizza in Lake Jackson! The cheesy bread is also amazing! Plenty of seating and sometimes has a Buffett. I Definitely recommend this place for great food every time! read more

We are pizza fanatics. Every town we go in we always look for the "best pizza in town" and this earned that title. The customer service was amazing, they made you feel like friends. We created our own pizza and got a regular pepperoni calzone. We were speechless. The flavors and the crust... WOW. We'd be here almost every day if we lived close by. Earned our 5 stars! read more

Talk about great food, my partner and I were staying around the area and we came across this pizza place and this is a 10/10 rating review. The pizza has such a great and unique taste it's like no other and you can tell it's homemade. I'd highly recommend to stop by and order some if you're around the area (: great GREAT pizza place hands down read more

Pizza was excellent!!! They were very friendly. Will definitely go here again! Best place to go after being at the beach.

If I could give this place 10 stars a word Michelle is awesome. Best pizza in Lake Jackson highly recommend. The stuffed crust is amazing.

I ordered 2 small pepperoni and sausage calzones this evening from their Clute store and it wasn't very good at all. The sausage tasted like it had gone bad, it had a bitter taste and the calzone was cold. The past few times we've ordered from there the quality of our food has not been good so we won't be ordering from there anymore. I'm not going to continue to waste my money on bad tasting food. read more

The best part of any pizza is always the sauce! This pizza was AMAZING, so was the hot wings and even the cheesy bread. I had a this crust supreme and everything was just piled on. It looked like a deep dish! They said 45 minutes and even delivered early! We'll definitely order again the next tine we're in town! read more

Pizzas good and the play area in the back is a blast for kids. Really cool place to take kids and let them play.

Edible which is honestly a lot to brag about in the Freeport area. The service is kind of meh. Sometimes they deliver to our area and sometimes they don't. read more

My extended family has something of a week-of-Christmas tradition of bringing all the kids and cousins here to fill up on pizza and play in the play area. This is my first time here. The pizza on the buffet was pretty good. The buffet is small, with a correspondingly small selection, but I got a few different flavors and liked them all. I'd compare the pizza quality to CiCi's, if you've been there. Fresh and enjoyable, but not the best pizza you've had in your life. The cheese bread caught me off guard. It didn't have tomato sauce, but had some kind of tangy flavor to it ... sharp nacho cheese, perhaps? Anyway, it was good, but it surprised me. There's your heads up if you happen to go there yourself. For dessert, they had some tasty cookies. I tried a white chocolate chip one, but think they also had regular chocolate chip. The sports area was really fun for the kids. As an adult, I couldn't help but observe that everything in there, from the green turf-carpet to the netting to the boards around the edges, and even the balls, looked like they'd been around the block a few times. But the kids don't care, and I don't really care anyway. The arena is big enough to play a game of dodgeball, or some very-small-field kickball or football if you really must. It was a little warm, but there's a fan in there to help cool off. read more

Thought this was a very good pizza price wasn't to bad had lots of toppings only thing I would change is from canned mushrooms to fresh

All Star Pizza is a must if you are visiting the coast. Second time staying down on Surfside Beach and second time having pizza delivered for dinner. Awesome selection of pizzas - I recommend the chicken bacon ranch - great service, and fast delivery! read more

Ordered two pizza's, a dessert pizza and two sandwiches for a work lunch. Everyone loved the pizza especially the apple dessert pizza! However the chicken, bacon, ranch subs left a lot to be desired, I only ate half of the sub because it was mostly lettuce on a sub roll and I can't hardly even recall bacon on the sub. Definitely will ordee pizza and dessert pizza again. I placed my order online for pick-up and a lady called to ask me about a special request I made, she was very friendly. I'll definitely order again! read more

Didn't like this place much. This pizza had no topping on them , it was mostly bread. The buffet was terrible, eveybody had to wait for minutes just for a single pizza to come out. Also they offered cookies for dessert and there was none to be found. read more

This is my favorite pizza place in the Lake Jackson, Clute, Freeport area, always great service n great food

Visiting from out of town. Our hotel sent us here, they have been on par with all their suggestions except this one. The special ads they had here in the lobby were not honored, in fact the guy behind the counter seemed annoyed that we even brought it up. He said they haven't had a special in over 2 years. I asked about the "Yelp" special, nope. He said that was old and isn't honored either. He said the only thing he could do for us is give us a cookie. :/ (I didn't take them up on that) I asked if they had filtered water, they said yes. Wrong. Their water tastes like water hose water. Pizza is okay but I wouldn't recommend. read more

The pizza is great, the party area is disgusting. I figured the first time we went it was a fluke that it was so dirty, apparently not. Rat droppings all along the walkway to the bounce houses. I'm sure it's on the turf too, just not visible. Half the sports balls were popped or torn. Plus the doors to get into the turf area look like they have never seen a wipe. Each party is supposed to clean up after themselves, so I'm excluding the food and party trash that was there from the previous party, but did the facility expect them to sweep and wipe down everything too?!?! I am only giving it the 2 stars because the pizza really is great, I just hope they keep the kitchen cleaner than the party area. read more

Can't say they have the best pizza. We walked in and no one was there. The crust is nasty they should really think about getting a new type of crust. And the hot wings were so greasy and didn't have any sauce on them. Not impressed. read more

Really great pizza. Everything I've tried, I've liked. They also have a good lunch buffet. Employees are helpful. I looked at the menu online and wanted to get a specific kind of calzone, but it wasn't available to order online. Called and they just took my order over the phone, very friendly. Always enjoy the pizza and calzones from here. read more

This was pretty darn good pizza. I dont normally like thick crust because its usually too "doughy", but this crust was buttery and crispy (although I still crisp it up in the oven). The flavor and balance of toppings was just right. The marinara sauce was excellent and I will order extra on the side the next time I get a pizza here. read more

If you are looking for good pizza and calzones. This is your place. The staff is friendly and always quick to joke with you. Only reason this place doesn't get a five star review is sometimes the buffet can get low fast. Good food=lots of people and that means the food goes quick. read more

Employees are rude and have no phone etiquette. Owner/Manager Mark is not professional and is okay with the actions of his employees. My family normally promotes local businesses but not when the employees are just as rude as the large franchises. It's a shame to local businesses and does not look good for the community! read more

Allstar has wonderful pizza but their buffet doesn't really work for me. They never have exactly what I want so I order a small pizza, thin crust, veggie and take home half. Same price as buffet and I get two meals out of the order. This makes me happier with the staff, to do it this way. read more
