They honored a coupon code from almost 4 years ago when I had to cancel a party due to Covid. It took a few minutes to find, but there were no issues when the code was found in their database. We had a special event and the website mentioned they can do something special for special events if you contact them, but my attempts at contacting them were fruitless. Just in case you are unsure of where to go, the escape room business is on the second floor. We played the Clue room. Given the price being so low, it was a solid room with a fun theme. That said, there were puzzles you could just brute-force your way through if you wanted to, and the clues from the game-master we needed were mostly not clues but help because a certain piece of the room didn't work from a technical perspective. Unlike at other escape rooms, the game-masters are definitely not paying any attention to what you're doing in the room unless you call on a walkie-talkie for a clue, at which point you have to explain to them what you're doing.

Escapology Escape Rooms Haunted House Review: Haunts and…read moreHorror Reviews We were able to play the newest Escape Room at Escapology in Danbury, CT called Haunted House. This one has a backstory and atmosphere that is darker and more ominous than a basic scary mansion theme. It is an immersive experience of being in an old house that is haunted and tormented by evil spirits and the tragic end of the family that lived there. It packs a lot in a small space with some jump scares and it is probably best for a group of 4 to 6 people. Some of the puzzles can be challenging so it's good to have help. The final stages of the game really elevate the experience as your time ticks down and urgency increases. The tasks to be solved become more sinister in nature but also were the most fun part. The detail and atmosphere really put this one over the top. Highly recommended if you enjoy spookier types of games and experiences.

The menu is widely varied, there's something for everyone at this kid friendly family restaurant and everything I've tried has been high quality, prepared and presented well....and I've only ever seen ONE PERSON complain about "portions that are too large". Also, don't let an extensive menu scare you, all of the offerings are an artists blend of the same palette mixed in a myriad of ways. Almost all of the food is fresh, unfrozen, and prepared on house, with the rare exception of some things that would be foolish to make in house i.e. onion rings, etc. This place has evolved dramatically in the last 20 years due to menu updates and remodels of the entire restaurant. It also appears to be a singles dating / meeting place for all age groups after 6 pm. The menu has about four seasonal variations, and they have a Happy Hour where drinks are $1 to $3 off, and a "Bar Bites" menu if you're seated at the bar, where I had the "Street Corn Egg Rolls", rolled and stuffed in house with an original mix of sweet corn , tajin lime aioli, cojita, & cilantro and includes a choice of dips if you ask nicely.. My server at the bar, Cece, was very well informed & helpful, personable, and attentive (sounds like "management material"). There's nothing better than a great restaurant continuously improving! Giant, beautiful, outdoor seating also! Party.....anyone?!!!
