Got an everything bagel with pork roll, egg and cheese to go. I was super hungover and that is my cure. The bagel was soft and delicious and the insides all gooey and perfect. The only downfall is that they didn't toast my bagel (even though I asked) and I was not offered any condiments and REALLY wanted ketchup. Again, this is not really their fault, I am just used to getting condiments in to go orders from my regular bagel spot. I discovered this place as a pickup location for GrubHub. I believe they are under new management since March. Hell of a time to start business with this whole COVID situation going on but they have still managed to come off to great start. I ordered their grand slam sandwich and it was amazing. The bagel was so soft and the ingredients were fresh. Bacon was cooked perfectly as well! Friendly staff and Dave, the manager/owner is very personal and customer friendly as well. Dave informed me that he makes his pancakes and French toast from scratch and that they are the best. He definitely lived up to the pancakes as they were super moist and flavorful. I got the pancakes the second time I was there, still have to try the French toast. This is hands down our new breakfast spot in the neighborhood and we will be regular customers from here on out. read more

All Star Bagels on White Horse Road across from the Hamilton Police Department, is a fairly new entry to this small strip that also houses the excellent Joey's Pizza. It is a family business, with a larger footprint than needed for their predominantly takeout trade. Still, it is clean and friendly. I stopped in for a post court breakfast of onion bagel, butter and swiss sammy and java. There were about 6-8 tables, but I opted to take my order to the office for consumption while I worked. The bagel was a nice size, fresh and with lots of sprinkled roasted onion flakes. No problem there at all. If I have any faintness in my praise it was that the crust of the bagel was not crisp, but more like that found on a regular slice of bread. It was not distinguishable from the meat inside the rounder, but for the onion bits. Perhaps, it didn't spend enough time in the hot bath before baking. Still, many people prefer this style, so it is more a choice than a criticism. As I enjoy more of a snappy chew, this was not my cup of tea, but it was satisfactory at the least. read more

These were the worst bagels I have ever had in New Jersey. They were more like flat tough rolls that had no rise in them. I placed an order over the phone and was told they had cocoa crispy bagels, there were like 10 crispies on it and they (and the bagel) were soggy. The cream cheese they use is disgusting, it tastes sour. On the breakfast sandwiches, the eggs were over cooked, and the bacon was raw even though I requested extra crispy. I wish I had just gone to the store and bought garbage premade bagels instead. The bagels I got looked nothing like the pictures people have posted here, and they were WAY too expensive for the quality. read more

First time visiting today and it was wonderful! The bagels are fresh and very soft with a good variety! We got the cinnamon crunch bagel and the triple play on a jalapeño cheddar bagel. It was hot and fresh and very good! Also tried the fruity pebble rice crispy treat - also very good! Lastly the girl at the front was so nice. It started off my morning great with a friendly person. This morning we ordered our weekly doordash delivery and something magical happened...these bagels were definitely not the same as the mediocre but warm and always fresh bagels we received the last 4 times we've ordered from ASB; thebagels that arrived this morning still so warm and fresh were phenomenal. I mean really really good. Did they change bakers? Did they change owners? A new recipe? Maybe I just got used to them? Whatever it was I was transported back to a time when we could go to NYC and get a great bagel...no toasting required. So, after I finished my salt bagel and was holding myself back from overindulgence as thoughts of a second bagel crossed my mind I asked the rest of my family as they prepared their own bagel with cream cheese, onions, tomatoes, etc. it was unanimous...was this the same place we've been ordering from or did someone from Staten Island or Brooklyn come in as a guest baker and surprise us? Whatever happened we may never know but please make them like this again next week! read more

Thought I'd try it because it's right down the street compared to my usual bagel place. Place was clean, cool pictures on the wall. Bagels are impressive looking in size but damn!, it was the most underwhelming everything bagel I've tasted. It was only a step up from frozen. Even when I picked it up, I noticed it was a softer texture, well it was the same when I bit into it, just lacking substance, and flavor. I wanted to like this place more, as it it a good deal closer to my house than the place I usually go for bagels. The positives are it's a nice space, completely clean, and the people working there seem friendly. The negative is the bagel I had there the other day was kind of mediocre. Not bad, just not great. Honestly, it didn't taste completely fresh, which was odd because I was in not long after they had opened. It was good enough that I think I will give them another shot sometime down the road. This was my second visit to all star bagels. There bagels are great but they should get a real bagel toaster with the conveyor belt and not use a regular toaster. They have fruity pebble rice crispy treats which are great but they didn't have today, and they didn't have any coffee made.
