Mike came out and looked at my unit. We checked to see exactly how old the thing was. It was a a lot of Kareem Arun, but it had been registered at the time it was installed. It was eight years into a 10 year warranty and I told him to fix it. It was the air compressor and the refrigerator coil. Mike said if that was what he wanted him to do what he would do so he was unable at first to obtain a replacement for the air compressor. They wanted him to go to the place that he purchased the unit in the first place and they didn't have one for him to put in. I lived in South Carolina most of my life, but I have not air conditioner in a very long time, I very quickly became extremely unhappy with the fact that I did not have air-conditioning. Mike went out and bought a small unit they put it in while he was still hunting for the replacement parts. It cooled my bedroom down enough so I could sleep in the cats could sleep. My unit has now been fixed had ended up having to factory itself told them that I couldn't find the and that nobody in town meant to one told her her my serial number gave her Mike's name and contact . She actually called Mike when I called him after I got off the phone with her I called Mike to tell her what she said that this is what he needed to do, and while he was talking to me, he got a message from her. He and two of his young man came over. They took out the piece that he had already part four and they started putting that one in while he went to pick up the one that was getting shipped in by now. Have a cool house again like I said been a long time since I've been without air-conditioning I would give Mike a five star review the things that went wrong during that repair not his fault. Mike comes over and checks my unit out twice a year to be sure that everything is working it should be. I cannot think of anything that he could do that would improve his record or his work ethic he has always gone above and beyond. He actually serviced my parents prior to me needing an air-conditioning put in because of the time I hadn't this on I Mike five star review and recommend him to anyone without any hesitation at all.

Here it is 2 years later and you still haven't completed the job that I already paid you to do! I have , since gone out and found a more reliable HVAC company. As for voice mail messages, the only messages I received were the ones asking if I wanted to renew the yearly service agreement, and I still have them! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Original post ... Mack Heating & Cooling installed our system in 2016 and we have always had great service until recently. I paid for the Yearly Service Agreement in 2023. A technician visited on 02/07/2023 and did everything except he was "unable to run heat mode at this time." It was noted on the invoice the technician "Will need to stop back by to verify refrigerant levels and initiate defrost mode" they never did! Honestly I forget all about until I received a call from MACK, I wanted to check my records so I let it go to voice mail. A week later (03/29/2024) Mack called again asking if I wanted to renew the yearly service agreement and when I pointed out that they never returned to complete the previous service call all she said was "That's on us". She made no mention of sending a tech out, only asking if I wanted to renew the yearly service agreement. She repeated "That's on us" several times but never tried to resolve the issue. Invoice Number 13140-1 Edited to reply to response ... Yes you did call and leave voice mail messages. They were to see if I wanted to renew the yearly service agreement. No one ever called to schedule the return visit to "verify refrigerant levels and initiate defrost mode" ... and you still haven't completed the service for which I already paid you to do! MACK's reply ... Mack Heating & Cooling, Inc. (Owner) 11 months ago We are very sorry you did not receive the follow visit to check refrigerant levels. Tried to charge me a fee for looking at my "100% warrantied" system just to tell me that it wasn't their problem and that my thermostat was broken and it was my problem not theirs. After installing a new thermostat, the system still doesn't work. The techs are lazy and their 24/7 service is a joke (only when it's convenient for them). The only reason they get one star is because I can't give them zero. ***BUYER BEWARE*** crooks that take your money and leave you to fend for yourself. They don't stand behind their products or work and will screw you if they get a chance. Reporting to bbb 9/29/2019 Captains Log- As I enter the 72nd hour (3rd day) without A/C, I've left the owner of the company (Jerimy Sweet) voicemails and emails regarding his lazy and inept employees and have received no response. I sincerely hope Mr. Sweet is okay and that he is not sick or drifting alone in space without anyone to hear his cries for help. Much like my requests for help with my 2 month old, lemon of an a/c unit, are going unanswered. As I look toward the positive side of things, looking at my floor, it appears that I have lost roughly 7lbs via water-weight. Despite my hardwoods being newly refinished, they are getting the moisturizing they apparently needed (unquoted opinion of Sweet Comfort). I am very thankful that Mr. Sweet was up to date on my needy floors when I was apparently ignoring them (sorry hardwoods). As I reflect on the same tech who repeatedly told me that the issue was MY thermostat that I installed and then recanted his "expert testimony" the next day claiming that the issue is now the blower motor, I fear that I may never feel the Sweet coolness of a air conditioner that blows like like a $2 hooker just before being offed by Jack the Ripper. Please pray for me and my family's survival while we ironically enjoy our Sweat Comfort in lieu of "Sweet" coolness that we crave so much. How selfish of me :( please stay posted for more updates as the days progress into weeks. 9/30/2019 Captains Log: The time is 1200 hours on the 30th day of September 2019. I have spoken with a friendly lady named Lisa over the phone regarding when my part would be in and was told she'd call me back - that was at 0930 hours of the same day and yet to receive an update. The elusive Sweet species of the genus Jerimy has still yet to surface in the kingdom of my two month old A/C unit. I fear that although I can see the air conditioned island in the distant horizon, my only floatation device (a volleyball named Voit) has a sprung a leak where a rusty piece of fan (presumably from my air handler) nicked the seam just 4 days ago. As I fall back to sleep in my bivouac I have a flashback to my ancestor heros who made sacrifices in Vietnam decades ago and scream out in my sleep "NOT AGAIN"! Stay tuned for more updates. #SweatUncomfortService #SweetLodge #CustomerDiservice

There were multiple times I had to call to have them come out and service as they were behind on our contract, on top of that they never walked staff through regular monthly repair information. I was told on the phone today that filters should be replaced every month, they only service the filters on the time scheduled for a bi-annual check. They do not send a reminder or share best practices for getting this done for us (not the HVAC professionals) who are supposedly just supposed to know how this is done and what is needed of 60 ton units. We pay people for their expertise for a reason. On top of that they wanted a $100 per unit that needed to be looked at (our business has 8). The unit that is currently down is our main unit which they had "checked". They left the belts out of the unit on top of the roof, and kept the motor running after sending a quote via email for just belt repair, which there was no response to due to change in ownership, which they were told after resigning our contract and sharing new ownership contact information. This caused the transformer to blow, which we now have to repair on top of replacing the belts they removed and never once reached out to us asking to confirm this information or if we wanted to be serviced for this project. They left it to deteriorate. The last time we were serviced was 6 months ago meaning we were due for a bi-annual inspection and no one was sent to take care of this. I called another company who came out today and showed me photos of each unit, and the unit at hand that had the issue, which Krantz last touched. They walked me through everything I needed to know and let me know they also do monthly preventative maintenance options if need be. It is a shame that a business who's job is specifically HVAC could be so careless to let this happen and show no form of remorse or concern when the issue was addressed being argumentative on the phone because they sent an email in December (to the wrong ownership). Funny because when we spoke in February to finish off the invoice, Unit 1 was never mentioned, or the repairs they said they sent a quote on. In the two years we have been with them we already spent 20k on repairs. Sad. Anyway look for another business especially if it is for commercial work. Otherwise you will be spending a lot of money in the long run.
