My family has been an All Seasons Pool & Spa customer for many years. My 83-year-old mother and my late father trusted this company because the service was once personal, professional, and dependable. Unfortunately, the company we dealt with this season bears little resemblance to the one they supported for years. The quality of service has deteriorated significantly. The technicians sent to our home appeared unprepared, lacked basic professionalism, and demonstrated a poor attitude while on the property. The work performed left us questioning whether they had the knowledge and experience necessary to properly service a pool. What was even more disappointing was the response from the service department when concerns were raised. Rather than listening, taking ownership, or attempting to resolve the issues, the response was condescending, rude, and dismissive. At no point did anyone acknowledge the shortcomings or accept responsibility for the customer experience. Long-term customers should not be treated as though their concerns are an inconvenience. After many years of loyalty from my parents and our family, the interactions we experienced over the last several days made it clear that customer service is no longer a priority. All good things eventually come to an end. We will be taking our business elsewhere and cannot recommend All Seasons Pool & Spa based on our recent experience. read more

All around a bad company. Here's a few of the issues I had: * Routinely a challenge to get a hold of someone at the store. * The main customer service person is the worst. I've literally been hung up on, as a paying customer asking questions. * The technicians did not fix problems with my pool despite me repeatedly requesting it. * They opened my pool, didn't get the pump working correctly and didn't say anything. * Poor weekly cleanings. * The owner/managers take no ownership over mistakes or issues, and just make the rude customer service person deal with it. I've since hired a new company and it's been night and day. read more

Have been dealing with this company for water testing and pool chemicals for over 10 years. Tried them out this year for pool service and am very disappointed! I have waited 7 hours each Tuesday for their technicians to arrive and I have been getting the same reply from their manager that they are on the way. They don't return phone calls and answer emails and I have to physically go to their store to reschedule The appointment. I hope that the owner reads this reviews and knows what is actually going on in his store. I am not the only one to complain about their lack of customer service and should have read the reviews before using them. This company doesn't get enough credit for their awesome technician work, staff friendliness, and customer service. About a year ago I moved into a home with a pool that had not been serviced in who knows how long. There was no pumping system and I had no idea what was hiding under the pool cover. All Seasons presented me with an affordable estimate to get my pool up and running. The technician came out on the date and between the stated time frame and confirmed everything was intact and ready for installment. On the date of installment, two technicians came out--one installed the pump while the other cleaned as much dirt and debris possible, adding their chemicals at the end. There was a bit of an electrical issue that the technician needed assistance on. The guy who seemed to be an expert on that part of the installation was about to come out a day after and complete that part of the installation. I will say that if you purchase a Smart Energy pump/filter from this company, please process your rebates AS SOON AS the job is complete. BGE gave me an extremely hard time for a couple months after installation. I finally got that resolved and that was no fault of the company, in fact, Shawn assisted me in collecting all the information I needed for BGE. He did his own research with me on the phone and sent me all the links and information I needed. Bobby is also a great help! Any time I've called into the store, or visited, he gets me the equipment or explains to me, in layman's, what I need to do at home to achieve whatever I need to with the pool. There are times I've asked him to repeat things multiple times and he doesn't hesitate to do so and doesn't seem frustrated. My concerns as a customer seem valued at All Seasons and they make being a new pool owner a more pleasant experience than I envisioned. The two things that stand out to me about this company---that I absolutely LOVE about them is: 1. They offer a great discount to me whenever I purchase their products. I believe that's because they were our company of choice with the opening of our pool and pump/filter installation (I could be wrong...so don't quote me). 2. They NEVER pressure me into buying products or utilizing their service. They seem to be more about educating the customer so that we would be able to maintain our pool/pool system. I am not a complainer ; this store used to be pretty good.However.. This past summer I made an appointment for a tech to give me an estimate on a new vinyl liner, and to check the returns, skimmers and light in the pool for proper operation and leaks.I repeatedly called to track the no-show tech for a couple of weeks. My final conversation was that the tech had indeed been to the home to assess the pool,and would email the estimate within a business day.I am sorry to say that all of this was untrue. Additionally, I never received an estimate of any kind, nor a call back or explanation. I don't know what has happened with this store. It is sad to me that they were dishonest. read more

Worst customer service, or should I say dis-service you could imagine! The story of incompetence and and non-responsiveness would make a great textbook case on how not to treat customers...or in this case former customer. One star is given only because 0 stars is not an option. I left messages with All Season that they had an opportunity to demonstrate that their chronic poor and nonexistent service could be corrected. But yet again they failed to respond. Bought overpriced chlorine tabs from this store. Found that we already had some that my wife had purchased, so I went to return them two days after buying. The bucket was unopened, but store employees refused to refund the purchase or even to allow me to return the chlorine tabs for store credit. Let's be clear - I had the receipt, it was two days after the purchase, and the product was unopened. Yet they refused any kind of refund or exchange. Think how much money one family spends on pool chemicals over the summer - you'd think this business would be slightly flexible with returns. I will not go to this store again. read more

We have used All Seasons for years but this year was the worst. I scheduled a pool opening and filter sand change. One of the problems is that All Seasons has your credit card info and charges you before you know what you're paying and then sends a receipt. We wanted to open our pool early because we were having a party and wanted it to at least look nice. The filter sand change was not done on the day scheduled with no notice to us but the weather had been terrible and we assumed that was the issue. We had had All Seasons close our pool last year and when we looked at the filter and items they had left us, we noticed that the gauge to the filter was gone. I talked to Julie who rudely interrupted me midsentence to say, "I'm not going to get into a he said, she said type of thing. We will provide a new gauge at no cost. It's not a big issue". They did reschedule so that both the sand change and the pool opening were on the same day. The two men who came to the house were nice enough. When they left, I was told two things: 1) They took a water sample and while he didn't think he would be back in the shop that day (Wednesday), he would take it to the shop by Thursday 2) There was a small leak at an o ring that he wasn't particularly worried about but said he would let the shop know and we could keep an eye on it. With regard to the water sample, I didn't hear from All Seasons on Wednesday or Thursday. On Friday, we emailed them (often hard to get through by phone). Julie responded that she was by herself in the shop and couldn't get to it. We didn't hear anything more. On Monday, we called and were told that there was no water sample at the store. Again, we had wanted this information so we could get the proper chemicals into the water for our party 5 days later. When I sent an email of complaint to Julie, her response was that it had since rained and therefore we would need to submit a new water sample anyhow. I received an incorrect receipt for the services performed and when I tried to clarify that with Julie, her explanation became even more complicated so I looked at my credit card statement online to determine what I was actually charged. About a week later, two guys came by from the shop. The one man told me that he was given a few parts to replace on the fiter but no explanation from the shop. When I walked with him to the filter, he showed me that he was replacing the o ring. That wasn't the leak we were concerned about and my husband had even sent a photo of the leak. I told him that was not the problem and showed him the cap that had been leaking. Nevertheless, he replaced the o ring and left without my knowledge. Then I received a bill for the labor and o ring part. We said we wouldn't pay it because that wasn't the problem. Julie said that we had to at least pay for the part although she would refund us for the labor. When I wanted to speak to someone, Julie said she had no voice and Sean never called me, which could have saved a lot of trouble. Then they emailed my husband saying that they would refund the labor for the o ring repair but they would not provide any further service to us and ended with "Have a nice day". VERY unprofessional. read more

Technicians range from poor to excellent. You never know who you are going to get. Customer service is abysmal--especially in the "off season" when it is only Sean in the office. He doesn't listen to the answering machine (and admits that), so he doesn't return calls. He insists he sends emails. If so, they are not going to the proper people. He doesn't call with reports about problems or provide estimates. If you can actually catch him on the phone, he is very polite and pleasant....but that doesn't make up for the fact he doesn't followup on his promises. I've been told that he is maybe the son of the owner--which explains why he still has a job. Damon definitely knows his stuff--but he's not always the one coming out. One day, I took the day off for a service call. The. Whole. Day. No one came. No one answered the phone. Turns out they decided to change their hours abruptly for the "off season." I left messages over the next week and sent emails. Nothing. Crickets. When I finally caught Sean in the shop the next week, he said there was not way to call me to let me know my visit was canceled as the shop was closed. Really? No way to let all the customers know on that day that their service visits were canceled? No one thought in advance that customers might need to be notified and someone needed to gather that info? Or maybe work on a computer from home given it is a family-run business? The various women who have worked in the office are generally pretty great--but it can be tricky getting through to them since Sean often is the one answering the phone and they are just part-time during the off season when only Sean is working....but they close for like a month or so in December-January. You better hope you don't have a problem with your hot tub during that time because you are out of luck. The young kids in the shop on Saturdays are very nice and seem to know what they are talking about as well as being polite and customer-oriented. I am about to give up on this company--which is too bad as I like to support local businesses. They are the only business that has lasted in that hard-to-get-to hard-to-find retail center--but times are tough and they probably won't make it through this crisis. Pools and spas are not a necessity like grocery stores. read more

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE AND DID I SAY HORRIBLE!! I would give zero star if I could. I took photographs of their horrible work in opening my pool so I had PROOF of their incompetence. They lied about services rendered, charged my credit card without authorization, and pretended they provided services when in fact was ultimately told their equipment broke that day! When I visited the store to speak with the manager, I video taped him - twice (because I had to visit twice). He LIED, LIED, LIED!! Oh, did I tell you they damaged part of my sidewalk around the pool? Did I tell you they broke one of the caps, and NEVER cleaned my filters. I had to call another company to back over their work, which took that person TWO f...ing hours! I could write a book about the horrible services with the opening this year, but I don't think there is enough room, and I already found an amazing company to service my pool for less cost, higher standards, and an amazing customer service team!!! I actually thought they were good last year but realized how poor their services were when ANOTHER company handled the cleaning services for the opening causing me to pay twice for the same services. Going to this pool store was absolutely the worst experience of my life. I was using this service and sent my pool cleaner last October to be tuned up. It was scheduled to be returned to the pool on the opening day this May. The cleaner was not delivered and they lied to me on 4 separate occasions on when it would be repaired and returned. After returning to the store on my 4th try, the red headed female manager told me "F*** YOU" on at least four occasions. When I complained to her about their poor service she said "F*** YOU" again. When I told her the store never called me or e-mailed about the status of my pool cleaner, she responded "stop talking and get the FUCK out of the store." I have been in retail over 50 years and have never used profanity towards a customer. She should not have a job representing All Seasons Pool and Spa. The company never apologized for the horrible service or the treatment I received, and just responded "F*** YOU". I got a lot of run around from this company after I had gotten a verbal agreement for applying caulking around my inground pool. Then, I was told that this verbal agreement was no good even tho I had previously given them a cc number. The persons name at the company that I had previously made the agreement with was, Sean; but any time I would call and ask to speak to him I was told that he wasn't available. read more

When I bought my home in 2014, I used them to open and close the pool with no issue. Everything changed though when I decided to install a pool heater this year. The installation went fine but when I tried to get the heater hooked up, I was told by BGE that I needed to have a county inspection before they would hook up the gas. Not a problem. I called the county to schedule an inspection and since All Seasons ran electrical during the installation, the county told me I needed to pull a permit before they would come out for an inspection. I called All Seasons about pulling a permit and they told me they've never had to pull one before. I tell them the county won't let BGE hook anything up until a permit is pulled and they say they're going to talk to the county and look into things. They never called back. I called several times over the next 2 weeks trying to get answers. I left messages both through the person answering the phone and through their voice mail and no one ever returned my calls. The heater was installed on June 14 and on July 3 I finally talk to Julie, who tells me that they aren't responsible for pulling permits and that it's in my service agreement that the homeowner is responsible for anything electrical so now I need to find an electrician to pull the permit so the county can inspect the work. I was upset and frustrated that no one told me this weeks ago and they didn't care. My pool heater has been a glorified paper weight and with the length of time it will take to get the county inspection and to get on BGE's schedule, I likely won't even be able to use the heater until 2019. I will no longer be using them for any services regarding my pool. They got my money and as far as they're concerned, everything else is my problem. read more

I had a 1000am appointment with this company today for an in-ground pool liner estimate and no one ever showed nor did anyone extend me the common courtesy of a phone call with an updated status or estimated time of arrival. I called this company and was told I would receive a return call, however, that never occurred. This is very poor customer service, it is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional for a business. This was our first season using All Seasons Pool & Spa for serving our pool and we were thoroughly satisified with the level of service and the cost for the weekly service plan throughout the summer. We saved hundreds of dollars over our previous provider. We really liked the fact that they had a store front that we could drive to and talk with someone if we had any issues (which we did not). They provided excellent customer service with a personal feel which we really appreciated. Their techs would leave personalized written reports on the condition of our pool and exactly what service they provided so we knew if the kids could go swimming right away or if they needed to wait (in the case of shocking). We would definitely recommend All Seasons Pool and Spa and will definitely be using them next season. read more

i have used all seasons pool for years. they have opened and closed my pool each year; tested my water every couple of weeks; gave advise when issues with treatments since i do this myself; replaced my vinyl liner; and replaced my pool pump. i have found their staff to be knowledgeable and helpful. appointments have been kept mostly on time and i have been notified if they're running late or are forced to reschedule. i frequently go to the pool store to get supplies and take the time to see the faces that answer the phones and have found everyone to be friendly. read more
