Which of course since this is Utah. People come sailing around the corner and honk angrily at me, like I chose to break down for fun. I called 911 so they could use their lights and form a convoy. I could travel slowly for a minute at a time, because the truck will force a shut down. It's a 2023, so it can sense the problem. Which is good. With the cops behind me people stopped driving by honking and flipping me off, so that's also good. At any rate we got to that middle road that leads to the lake in mantua. After the cops left I had to wait for an AMS mechanic to come inspect it, to make sure what the problem is. I apologize I don't remember the gentleman's name. Bit of a bigger older guy, I would have trouble with a trailer in Logan 2 days later; he would also come by and help. Then after waiting a bit Andy gave me a ride back to my HQ. I was 15 minutes away from my drop off. But the company didn't approve us bringing the trailer there. So instead we went the hour and a half to SLC, and I had to drive back the next day with a loaner truck. Good service, I'd recommend them.

As far as towing places go, this is as good as it gets. If you're visiting a towing company, odds…read moreare it's not for a pleasant circumstance to begin with and it's easy to get frustrated at the towing company. Without getting into a dramatic long story, a good friend of my sister's had his car towed, impounded and auctioned by the state. He was out of state, and I was the lucky one called upon to drive to Clearfield from Salt Lake to get his things. This is where I back up a little, and give glowing remarks about this towing company. You see, they didn't have to keep his things at all. They could have easily sent all his crap with the car to the auction, but after some pleas from his family, they were gracious enough to unpack a full car and store his stuff for several weeks until I was asked to retrieve them. And I'm talking like 15 garbage bags full of his earthly possessions. That's where they earn their first round of brownie points. The second round comes from the fact that though they are only open from 9am-5pm Mon-Fri. they opened up at 8 am on a Friday for me so I could haul butt up there and get the stuff and be back in SLC before I had to be at work. Stellar customer service from a company in an industry that is known to have none. Five stars all the way.

Great place, excellent service…read more We had a faulty fuel gauge in our RV that left us stranded 25 miles short of town. AAA attempted to rescue us, but even after waiting several hours (though not so bad in an RV), AAA would only bring two gallons of gas (even though we were premier members which was supposed to mean five gallons of gas as well as longer towing if needed), and spilled much of the gas because their nozzle wouldn't reach. Of course, we ran out of gas again before getting to the next gas station and were re-stranded. Anyways, after complaining to AAA, we were fortunately put in touch with Ogden towing. They were out within the hour, he (Dan, I believe, might be the manager) kindly brought us cold water bottles on a hot day, had a giant towing rig that looked capable of solving any problem, and most importantly, five gallons of gas. Dan gave us clear directions, then followed us into town, all the way to the pumps to ensure we were set. He was kind, competent, and careful. And I think this was still under a AAA service call so he likely went beyond their protocol and paid for the extra gas out of his own pocket (I wasn't the AAA member so couldn't say/review). Couldn't ask for more. How he does it with all the wacky motorists and problems out there is impressive. Places and people like this make the world a better place.

Having said that should anything happen during the loading and towing service they absolutely will NOT take any responsibility I personally went into the Ogden office and spoke with a gentleman who's name I didn't catch but assumed it was an assistant manager or something I explained the situation which btw could obviously only have happened during their towing process The man snickered at what I was saying and said if the car rolled off the truck and hit a house it would be their fault otherwise there was no responsibility taken. So we are now having to pay for a repair to the tune of $1500. This is deplorable behavior from this or any company. BEWARE!

On day one, Julie kindly gave us a ride from work to the shop and back (such a lifesaver), and when the repair took a little longer than expected, they set us up with a loaner car. My son and I nicknamed it "Babushka Honda" -- that's "G-ma Honda" in Russian -- because it felt like a cozy little time machine straight to the '90s. We had fun with it! When we picked up our car, everything was done perfectly. They used original or top-quality parts, and the rotors and brake pads even come with a 3-year / 100K-mile warranty -- seriously, who can beat that? Every interaction -- from Trent to Julie and the whole crew -- was professional, kind, and genuine. They treat you like a person, not a number, which is exactly what you want after (or before) a long day at work. Thank you, A.B. Hadley team, for making car care something I can actually feel good about. You guys really are the best!
