Although we did not use his services because we needed a gutter repair person, he gave us valuable information. Our gutters go underground and they were clogged. He tried to unclog them. We ended up decommissioning them and installing elbows. I appreciate John's advice, pleasant demeanor, and coming to our home to evaluate the problem. I was particularly impressed by the pictures of before and after. They gave me clear pictures of how dirty the gutters were and how clean they were after the cleaning. I called 9 companies for quotes, 4 never returned my call (and neither will I ever call them again). John called me back within a few minutes after I left a voicemail. Scheduled in the inspection for the next day and gave me the quote in person. His quote was at the higher end but the lower quotes were over-the-phone quotes. I really don't like it when I get a quote and then get hit with extra charges later. So I decided to go with John and I am glad I did. John was able to schedule me in for the next morning, just in time for the impending rain. I wasn't home but my in-laws were, and they told me the excellent work and service that John did. Cleaned up a lot of junk from the gutter and then cleaned up all the mess around the house from the cleaning. After the work he sent me photos of the gutter before the cleaning. Interesting photos. Apparently I was growing weeds inside my gutters. Unfortunately no photos of after as the rain started pouring, but the spouts are working fine now. No more blocked spouts and overflowing gutters. Every year I dread cleaning out the gutters, and when I can't put it off any more, I do it but then spend the next three days with a sore back. This year I decided that I'm just too old to be climbing around on the roof to clean out the gutters, so I set out to find someone to do if for me. Enter John from "All Rain Gutter Cleaning." I found John here on Yelp, which is partly why I'm starting to write reviews now, since I use Yelp so much. Frankly I was nervous going with John because he doesn't have a contractor's license, or a web page, or a fancy office. Plus I was worried about having a stranger walking around on the roof, since they could fall off and get seriously injured. However, there aren't many options for this kind of work, and the only licensed company that I could find that did this was booked up for two weeks. I did wait until 2 days before our first rain was supposed to hit (which it did), but hey, nobody's perfect. So I figured I would at least call John and see how things went. I called and left a message, and within about 2 hours I got a call back from John. He was bouncing from job to job that afternoon, but he offered to stop by at the end of the day. Turns out he was able to come early, which was great for me. John does not have a lot of fancy stuff, but he has a truck, ladders, and all the equipment he needs to clean a roof or gutters. In no time he was up on the roof, walking around like he lived there, and scoped things out. From the roof of the house, he noticed that the garage hadn't been cleaned in a few years either (oops!). He came down, wrote me up a quote, and in a very friendly way said he would appreciate my business. John is very down to earth, and I like that. He does not pretend to be something, or someone, that he is not. He is a hard working, thorough, and professional gutter/roof cleaner. He ran through the process with me, in terms of how he cleans the gutters (e.g., blows out the debris, runs water through the whole system to rinse it out and to flush the down spouts, and then clean up all the debris on the ground), and he let me know that he takes "before" and "after" pictures so I could see the work he did. That was good enough for me. He was able to come back by noon the next day, and he spent over an hour up on the roof, and the garage. As promised he sent me the pictures, and I'm a little embarrassed by how bad I had let things get on the garage. But the "after" pictures look outstanding. John will now be coming back for the annual task of gutter cleaning, and I'm glad to say my back is very thankful for it. read more

He always comes within a day or so of when I notify him that all the leaves are down from the trees adjacent to my house. He always does a great job, cleans up after himself and goes beyond by cleaning my skylights and chimney sidings. I called John this morning after I found an overflow gutter. He returned my call in 5 minutes and came in 30 minutes. He cleaned the debris in the gutter and flush the down sprout. What can I say about John & company? They are amazing! I have used them two times over the past two years and each time they have done a fabulous job. I have a big two story house and there is NO WAY I'm getting up there to clean those gutters. John is up there like it is nothing! He does a great inspection including pictures, gets them cleaned and cleans up all they mess too. It is best to call him before it gets too busy in the fall.
