Always here weekly to service my pool and it always looked awesome. But he was never taught by his company on how the pentair system works. He would do as instructed by his boss which was wrong Certain valves would be turned off and my spa would drain especially after a different tech was sent to clean the filter . Water conditioner is added to a pool as needed. Certain valves need to be adjusted so the conditioner circulates throughout the pool. When the employee came, he followed his directions however, when he was finished, he forgot to return the valves to their original position. The filtration stopped working after he left three separate employees have to come over to correct the problem yeah, it's still exists. In hindsight, the employees need to take a picture of the way the valves are set up before they change them. Then they'll know how to reset them. Unfortunately, my pool is still not running correctly. The only alternative I have is to contact the company that installed it for $180. Ironically, this is the second time in two years that it has occurred. This time I'm one week without a filter and the same was last year one week without a filter the owner "R" seems to feel he's doing me a favor by sending employees out to fix it; as he said, " and I'm not even going to charge you for this". I have to bite the bullet and call Mid State Solar, pay their fee, and have the owner "R" watch the correct way the valves turn. I'm going to ask him for reimbursement to have the Original installer reset the valves. does anyone want to wage on my bet? read more

I've had All Pure pool service for a little less than a year now and i'm so relieved to finally have found a good service! I went through 4 "companies" before finding them and no one was able to keep my pool clean, there was constantly an issue, constantly being charged for extra services that didn't fix any thing. I honestly think a lot of the pool services out there are a joke, they probably learned basic pool care off you tube and made themselves a business. Started service around in or around April 2022 and since then I have had 3 to 4 different preps workers come and this company want to have a key to enter the property ( when they are changing employees like weekly) and our pool has been green off and on. I have called and they say the manager will call or come by and nothing. Then the office stuff a little upset because I'm calling in again and again. Well when you tell your grandbabies they can't come swimming again for the last 3 weeks is very upsetting. I called again and by the way we have ran our filter 24/7 for months and our MID bill is triple the price. I called again and they said there is nothing they can do....they have put a lot of chemicals and they cost a lot of money ....ummmmmnot my problem your a company offering service. I was shocked at some of the reviews in regards to service and communication on All Pure Pool Service. We have been a customer for many years and have no issues with communication or service, if we did I would of dropped them years ago as I am a stickler how my pool looks. In regards to harsh chemicals or additives, All Pure ALWAYS lets us know ahead of time when they are going to do this to our pool. I contacted All Pure around the end of June for full service in Turlock. My experience with Lorraine on the phone was encouraging. She was very polite and informative and set up an appointment for Austin to come take a look at my pool. From there, he'd let me know if he wanted to start providing service. Austin showed up when promised and was friendly, and he said he could start right then. My pool at that time actually didn't even need anything, as my previous provider had just done his last service the day before. But whatever, I said it was fine since he was there. Austin continued to come as scheduled, but judging from the way my pool looked, I don't think he did much more than show up. Three days after his 2nd or 3rd service, I noticed algae on the walls of my pool. I had never had algae before because my pool was cared for properly. It was a weekend, so I emailed pictures in and basically said I was concerned that maybe the pool wasn't actually being brushed, since this was a problem that started with Austin's service. I got a voicemail the next day while at work (around 8:15) from Richard, saying he got my email and had questions for me. I returned the call three times to get the machine each time. I then got an email from Ron (the owner), basically defending Austin's work, telling me what all my pH and chlorine levels were each week, telling me what Austin did, and telling me he "followed protocol." He told me they assume we've been doing "heavy swimming" and that's why there was algae. I have no idea what all the numbers mean so I'll take his word for it that they were where they needed to be, but we were not doing heavy swimming. We work & use the pool once a week at most. Even if we did use it heavily, that's what the pool is for when it's over 100 degrees outside. Anyway, when Austin returned that week, the algae was taken care of and I figured we'd be okay. No. The next time he came, I arrived home for lunch one hour after he left to find crap floating all over my pool. Yes, we have foliage but not so much that there should be tons of crap floating in my pool an hour after he supposedly skimmed it (it was not windy). I have cameras, and while I don't have one in the back to confirm what he did or didn't do, I can see the time he arrived and the time he left. He pulled in at 10 and was gone by 10:15. No way he checked/added chemicals, emptied my basket, skimmed the pool, and brushed the sides of my pool within 15 minutes, and that was obvious by the way it looked. If he spent 15 min each week on my pool, that means he was providing one hour of service per month at $132.50 an hour. Maybe I'm in the wrong business. I called today to cancel but got the machine, so I emailed around 9:20 in the morning. Five hours later I hadn't gotten a response so I called. I'm not sure who answered but she said, "Oh, didn't you email?" "Ummmm, yeah but nobody answered me so I figured I'd better call." Turns out they got my email but didn't have the decency to reply and let me know they'd cancel. I paid ahead for the month and am losing a week of service, but I'm willing to do so for someone else to do it right. Based on my interaction with Ron and seeing some of the responses he left to other negative reviews, I'd say the problem starts there. Doesn't seem like there is much accountability there. Anyway... if you like to receive the service you pay for, I'd recommend calling someone else. read more

My favorite feature about this team is all the men are very average looking or just not good looking at all which puts my mind at ease when they come to service the pool while I'm at work. See, my wife Kathy has a bit of a drinkin problem. There's no tellin what she's capable of when she's off the Merlot and since the dang Covid got her on unemployment so she's always home gettin tore back. God forbid I get some Channing Tater lookin fella come to the house she's when actin like a dang wh*re all jacked up on merlot. Throw some whippets in the mix and it's ALL OVER! We fired AllPure after about 9 months of full service, due to a couple of negative interactions we had with the operations manager, Richard. Red Flag #1: Richard called one day to inform me that his technician could not get our pool pump to turn on. He said the technician tried everything, but it was "obviously broken", too old and outdated to repair, and would need to be replaced. I went out to the backyard when I had Richard on the phone, and was surprised to see that my pool pump was ON & running just fine. He could literally hear it running while on the phone. He said, "well that's good, never mind" & just hurried off the phone after that. So that was odd. We do have an older style pool pump, so I'm guessing the technician that day was just confused about how it works. But the fact that Richard jumped to his conclusion so quickly that we needed to replace our pool pump was concerning. That's a lot of money to replace something that's not even broken. I hoped it was all just a misunderstanding, and we moved on. The pool pump continued to work, and AllPure continued to service our pool. Red flag #2: A few months later, I called AllPure to ask for help after the City's Utilities department contacted us regarding an unusual amount of water output on our meter. It indicated a leak of some sort, & they suggested we start with the pool. Richard called me to attempt a troubleshoot over the phone, because he knew it was more than likely a problem with the auto fill. Unfortunately, the 2 things he needed me to look at, I couldn't find. I could hear in his tone that he was annoyed and losing patience, and so I asked if we could just schedule to have someone come out & take a look at it in person. He told me that he didn't know when he'd be able to get someone out, & kept reminding me how many customers they have & how busy they are. (They service "over 1700 pools a week", & they'll never let you forget it!) He also said there would be a hefty diagnostic fee to have someone come out in person. (On top of whatever the cost to actually fix it) I then asked if I could have my husband call him so that maybe he could try troubleshooting instead, because I just really didn't know what I was looking at when it came to the pool equipment. He very rudely replied, "you know what, you SHOULD have your husband call me." At that point, I was done being talked down to in such a rude and condescending manner, and I told him I didn't appreciate how he was speaking to me. He then said I was just mad that they weren't dropping everything to come look at my pool right that second, which wasn't the case at all. Before he hung up, I could hear him yelling & complaining about me to someone in the background. I then called a different pool company who services some of my neighbors, and they were at my house within 30 minutes. They confirmed that the auto fill was indeed broken, and quoted me $60 total to replace it (no diagnostic fee). I hired them on the spot and called AllPure back to cancel my service effective immediately. Treating your customers with basic respect and decency goes a long way. I would like to point out that the AllPure technicians who serviced our pool were friendly and respectful. They didn't always spend enough time brushing/cleaning the pool, but I never complained, because I could tell it was only due to the fact that they were stretched too thin & just trying to move quickly. (Not their fault, that's a management issue) The ladies in the office were always very nice to talk to. (I paid my bill over the phone every month, and they were always kind and helpful) Unfortunately, everything seems to go through Richard. If you want full service, Richard is the one who has to come out & look at your pool first to approve it. If issues arise, Richard is the person you'll be talking to. And in my experience with him, he just isn't a pleasant person to deal with. I'm happy to say that our water meter is back to normal thanks to our new pool company, our pool is sparkling clean, and that old outdated pool pump that Richard claimed was broken about a year ago is still working just fine. I'm very happy to never pay another dime to AllPure. read more

Our pool service tech was horrible he would tell us constantly there was a leak or something wrong with our pool then when I would ask him questions he would say I just do chemicals call the office. We would do everything he recommended or told us was wrong but then he would never communicate if it was fixed or not. He is super rude I have heard this also from others that use all pure and said their same tech was extremely rude. The office and owner were always great but the tech was not. Finally after months of trying to keep fixing various things he told us were wrong with the pool, the office called and said they were canceling us, mid month I might add with no warning. read more

We used this service for awhile until we had an issue with the man that would come to just add chemicals and go. The basic service. He would get very mad because there were days we would forget to unlock our gate for him. We caught him on our camera yelling God damn it as he slammed his bucket on the floor before coming to knock on my door. I apologized for the gate being closed. He said it was fine. However, we still heard him being mad through the camera. Slamming our gate as he left. I felt uneasy at that point. To me thats a bit unprofessional. He didnt come back for 2 weeks without a call or notice to us. So we cancelled our service. They still tried to charge us for the days he didnt even show up. We really liked this company too. I have had All Pure for a couple of months and they were prompt and courteous and my pool looked great. They came to clean my filters and did something that caused my pump to leak around the strap and for it not to prime correctly. After calling them 4 times about the issues they sent the same tech out and he said he couldn't find anything wrong and he would have some one else come out and check it out. No one called no one came out. I called an additional four times and couldn't even get someone to return my call so that we could get this issue resolved. So I give them a ZERO rating I would not ever recommend them again nor would I use them. Please think twice before using this company. read more

I called this company during the week to come out and do a one time pool cleaning on Friday. I had people coming out on Friday to go swimming. They scheduled my appointment between 10 and 12 and they showed up at 8:30. After looking at my pool for a few minutes and trying to vacuum it they said they had the wrong vacuum and couldn't do anything for my pool. They said they needed to get a different type of vacuum and they would see if someone else could bring it out and work on my pool. I didn't get a call back from them so I waited a few hours before I called them. I was told there was no one available to come out and work on my pool. So now I am stuck with a dirty pool and no one to clean my pool. They charge $110 per hour. I would think at that price they would be a little more reliable and be more prepared for their job. read more

He told us he serviced this pool for years and he was going to tell us how things were going to be handled! Then when he left he did not close gate and my dog got out! Luckily we found him! All Pure has been taking care of our pool for over two decades, and keeps it clean and in great condition. We got soaked by a pollen dump from a neighbor's tree and our service rep came in and shocked the pool and advised us on what to do. Most recently, their repair technician Scott Ralph came out to replace our timer. He previously replaced our pump. Always a pleasure to speak with, he took the time to explain what he was doing, show us the deceased timer, and make sure everything was properly installed and grounded. After cleaning my pool pump I wasn't able to get the air primed out of the filter. I could not figure out what the problem was. I made an appt with another Pool company (the company that installed my pool) the morning of my appt I received a text stating the appt needed to be rescheduled. I needed the problem fixed right away because I didn't want the system shut down for any longer than nessasary. I called All Pure, the company that has been doing my chemicals for a few years I left a message on the answering machine before business hours. I received a call shortly after from Scott with All Pure. He could fit me in the same day. Scott gave me a courtesy call 15 minutes before arriving and had the problem figured out and fixed in minutes. Scott was very friendly as well as knowledgeable about my system. Problem fixed at a fraction of the price the other guys were going to charge me. I will recommend All Pure to anyone for chemical maintenance as well as Pool repairs. We had an absolutely abysmal experience with Scott who insisted that we change our entire sweep system because it was not energy efficient. Turns out our $3k investment was an absolute waste of money and our energy bills increased. The worst part was that Scott was absolutely flummoxed on how to resolve the new sweep, which never worked properly from the beginning of installation. He blamed it's inability to work properly on gravity (seriously - he did!) and shrugged his shoulders. We have an awesome pool service now and the technician cleans the large cartridge monthly. Turns out there was no issue with the gravity. Tsk, tsk Scott. You're unaccountable and a limited problem solver. To be fair, the chemical service side of the business was fine - no issues there. I called on Thursday so start service and they said they come to Escalon on Wednesdays. I told them I was having a housewarming party on Saturday so they sent out a manager on Friday to come check our chemical levels.
