Me and my roommate just had a terrible experience with a security guard at Midtown 360. The man…read morepounded at our door unannounced at 10:50pm multiple times without identifying himself. I have been sick with the stomach flu and the two of us were doing homework and watching tv. We were very fearful of the angry pounding at the door and a lack of identification of who was doing it. Just to add, our apartment door does not have a peephole or anyway to see who is at our door. We are two college girls and do not feel comfortable opening the door for a man who did not identify himself and when we asked who it was only said "security." The man then was extremely rude to my roommate who told him she was timid to open the door due to being scared. He then told her "to stop playing dumb" and told us we were "giggling, playing music, and shushing people in the room." 1. we did not giggle we were dead silent in fear of the aggressive pounding. 2. there was no music playing at all. 3. it was just the two of us in the apartment. I told my parents I was uncomfortable with the interaction and they called to which Scott was extremely rude to my father. Also, we do not have to open our door for hired security and we definitely won't be opening the door for anyone with this company ever again. ANYONE W/ A BRAIN, INTEGRITY, COMPASSION AND COMMON SENSE Would have the competence to know this after hearing what I was saying and my body language. This " rent a cop" ignorantly, disrespectfully interrupted the conversation and stopped me ( even when I walked from the garbage to PUBLIC SIDEWALK) Interrogating me regards to if I live in the specific set of apartments? Where Do You Live? WHY are you here on this property? And no answer was fast enough or satisfied him to at all nevertheless to STOP HARASSING ME W/HIS BULLSHIT! ABUSE OF POWER IS WHAT IT IS.. I was honest and told him i lived in the apartments tight next door, ( he wasn't patient either regarding my speech communication barrier ( disability).. Then he continued to follow me up the public sidewalk and wouldn't shut the hell up and leave me alone! I walk up the sidewalk and he is now in his rental car that says Premier Security, and pulls over to continue this UNEXCUSEABLE UNPROFESSIONAL BEHAVIOR! HE NEEDS TO BE FIRED! He could care less more important issues are at hand, instead of using those 2 little speck size ... God let him use and offer assistance to even half ass look for my baby sister, he gets out of car and orders me to stay off that property, and that i was looking shady walking through the garbage, up the sidewalk & around the block. What mommy issues does he have & what types of drugs is he using so I can bring awareness to stay away from these along with all the others? I told him, #1- ' I'm Not even on the F*** property!! #2. You CANNOT continue to illegally harass me or anyone as a matter of fact on a public sidewalk!! 3. Ive lived here for almost 2 years and nobody has ever said anything to me bcuz I AM NOT DOING ANYTHING WRONG! 4. And profiling people because of how they look, or dress, color of they're skin, etc.. IS ILLEGAL 5. LEAVE ME THE F** ALONE!! To be honest. I almost maced him because he wad too close to my person and I am a 40 year domestic violence survivor, and i know more about the laws then he does because I hold a Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice!
