I contacted a lot of handyman services on yelp, but Diego of 'All Pro Handyman' stuck out by his friendly, straightforward, and professional communication, naming his price for services, range of expertise, and the way he likes to do business. Explaining to him our issues for which we sought professional services, he listened and asked pertinent questions, and accepted the job. We agreed on a day/time, that I then had to change twice. He was very relaxed and agreeable about it. We stayed in touch, and confirmed the day before that he was still available for the appointment. He arrived on time, had booties on when he entered the house, examined the job: re-adjusting the French patio doors that another guy had totally messed up. He worked quietly, carefully, professionally. After working for some time he had the doors open easily, the locks and latches aligned and the job finished for the $95 we agreed on. We asked about another issue: the hot water valve under the kitchen sink was leaking: yes, he also was a plumber and took on that job. He named his price, we agreed, and he was off to get the part. $95 to switch the valve seemed a lot to me, but when I saw him sprawled out in the kitchen, his upper body twisted under the sink, I was so grateful to have s.o. do such a great job. Again, he worked quietly, concentrated, and had everything cleaned and tidied up when he was done with that one.. Another job: our entry door was jamming and not latching properly. Again, he examined the issue, did several adjustments, testing in betweeen until everything worked as it was supposed to. We got a little discount on that. I then got his attention back to the sink. I asked if he was possibly able to put the hoses to the dishwasher in a way that the space under the sink could be used more efficiently for storing of cleaning stuff. He willingly applied himself, and a few minutes later, he had everything back in a way that was totally to my liking and my request. WE had a few more questions and got helpful and appropriate advice. Paying via Zelle was a non-issue, and we will be doing more business with Diego of 'All Pro Handyman' in the future.
