Really the experience was 2 star but Orlando did get the job done for the agreed price....so it is hard to be overly negative. Had a small max 1.5 hour job, modify the flexline to the stove with easy access to and add some caps to some unused appliance shut offs. Fist quote was crazy at 275$....we agreed at 180$ in the end. Which was high but manageable. Orlando starts to work and 10 minutes in he is reporting a leak in the hose to refrigerator ice machine (steel braided line connected via a saddle connector). It was NOT leaking before Orlando started work.....and he could provide no evidence the hose was decayed or damaged (steel braided line is the good one...). He did eventually agree to replace the line at no cost but I had to be ass to get him to do this.....he would not even acknowledge that he was the likely source of the problem. Which if he did I would have paid half (his time and materials). Certainly not the worst (had a guy quote $13,000 to replace AC unit on another house, in the end it only needed condenser drip tray repaired...300$) but also not recommendable. Orlando if you read these, you're in range. Hey I gave you 3 stars because you did get the agreed work done for the agreed price......but I had to be an ass to get a reasonable price and get the hose fixed. I was in a very bad Saturday plumbing crisis, My hot water was pouring out of the drain and I could not stop it. My wife and I were setting pans under my kitchen sink to stop the water from flooding my kitchen. I called five plumbers before I got in contact with Knight Plumbing. All the previous plumbing companies were telling me they could not come out until Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. I told each company, I need a plumber like yesterday. I called Knight Plumbing and the dispatcher told me she had a plumber in the area. She told me that he could be here to assist me in under a half-hour! We were jumbling for joy! My wife and I were sweating bullets over our plumbing issues. Jesse came to our rescue. He came to my home under the estimated time, he was cordial, professional, and told me that he would take care of me! He found my hot water turn-off valve!!! He proceeded to put the "turn on and off the faucet" under our sink! Jesse was very quick to diagnose our problem, quoted me a reasonable price, and got the job done in under an hour. I would recommend Jesse as a "top-rated plumber" without hesitation!! And, to Knights Plumbing and Drain for not hitting me with an astronomical weekend price!! read more

The water pipe from the water softener tank was overflowing in the garage and we needed to call out a plumber. We came on here, read the reviews and contacted Knights Plumbing and Drain. Jason and Ashley came out. They tested the water quality and then provided options (no 'hard sell') - replace the tank or seal off the pipes and replace the tank at a later date, with costs. They examined and pointed out worn seals under the sinks, toilet bowls, replaced the ballcock in one toilet and pointed out due to age, it may need replacing. They did a couple of small fixes gratis. They were professional, friendly, informative, communicating problems found and solutions; wore shoe protectors, cleaned up after themselves and we even joined their monthly membership scheme. Orlando saved our Thanksgiving! On Wednesday, we discovered a leak that had been going on for a long time--a broken angle stop dripping water. We tried to tighten it and broke it so that it was spraying water--we had to turn off our water to stop the damage. Well, the day before 14 guests were to arrive for a turkey dinner, we called Knights. Orlando came out and fixed the spraying angle stop. We asked him to check the other ones. Well at the end of the day, Orlando had replaced 15 angle stops and all the toilet guts, finding another angle stop that was about to blow. He worked his behind off when I'm sure he would have rather been home getting ready for his own turkey day. Now Hector is my Knight and has come to know their home well. When Hector wasn't available late one night, Jason came. Another very nice young man. It's a blessing that they come prepared; great attitude, even late at night and take over promptly and get the job done. With shoe protectors, and surface protection, their courteous manner and a complete informational report that's also recorded on the statement as the bill is presented. They both were very professional and accommodating. Victor's knowledge regarding the job gave me the confidence to be at ease with his service. I have used Knight's Plumbing and Drain for the past 6 or 7 years. Very quick to respond, and very high quality work accomplished. I highly recommend Knight's! If you need a plumber, this is the definite place to call. Regarding the most recent work I had done (kitchen pipe repair/replacement) - work accomplished in a timely fashion, cost estimate was given up front, and this is one happy customer. This was our annual checkup and water heater draining. Your two men were very informative as to what we have to do to maintain our plumbing system. One year ago is when we first used Knights Plumbing. We had a pipe burst in our upstairs bathroom. You can imagine the disaster. Your company handled everything professionally and quickly. My bathroom sink had a slow leak and my husband tried to fix but in the end we needed a pro!!! We had had such great service from Knight's plumbing in the past so we decided to call them. We have used Knights plumbing over our 20 years here in Tracy. The work has always been excellent and we have had no problems with any of our plumbing. They are always polite and informative. They clean up any debris that might occur during the job. Les is very patient when explaining options to us. Nick was really polite and helpful, and he was careful to put on shoe protectors. I think that's pretty thoughtful. He had the part he needed and was able to quickly fix my shower head problem. He also did a good job explaining their payment options, and I'm strongly considering purchasing their annual service contract. Jason is the best. He found our problem (although it a huge one that will take to time to completely reslove (yep roots). We use him everytime we get a clog. Our home is dated mid 1920's so no blueprints to help, he was experienced enough to get the job done (did I mention we wasted hundreds of dollars thru the years to get roto routerd to have to do it again in a couple weeks...) Last night our water heater made a big bang noise and then other noises started to follow. I called Knights Plumbing right when they opened and they had someone out really quick.
