The staff at Heat'n Sweep were great. They asked us all the right questions to lead us to the proper log set and helped us quickly set up an install date for the gas line. Oh, and as my friend had suggested, they were very reasonable. Their installers showed up on time and later that day when we had concerns that there may be a gas leak, I shut off the gas and called their store. Alex there, walked me through the issue and explained that it was almost certainly the smell from the initial burn that was concerning me. Although I felt safe after our chat, Alex drove all the way to my house that evening to assure my family was safe and happy with the service- And my house isn't close. Once at the house, Alex walked me through everything and made us 100% comfortable. He was kind enough to give me a lesson on fireplaces and I picked his brain on a chimney issue I was having at a rental home. I ended up hiring his company for that job the next day and saved money there as well- As the previous contractor appeared to be taking advantage of me with his proposal. My tenant was super happy with the results. It's been several months since our install and no one is happier with it than my wife, who sits by the fire almost every evening during the winter to relax. Oh, except maybe for our neighbors across the way who we recommended they also use Heat'n Sweep! I was reminded to write this review as I sit here by our fireplace on a freezing winter morning with my pup, enjoying some peace and quiet before the craziness starts. Something I now do almost daily. I'm very appreciative of their work and happy to support a great Michigan family-owned business in these difficult times.

Corey repaired our very old and discontinued gas fireplace after another company came out and said…read morethey could not. Nancy did the homework to identify an alternative pilot assembly replacement for the discontinued one. Corey (clearly an experienced and skilled technician) came out to do the repair, worked around some problem issues, communicated well, and fixed it--all for a fair price. While their service backlog was a month, the knowledgeable, efficient service was well worth the wait.

From start to finish, working with Roofman USA was a breeze and pleasure. I had also gotten egregious quotes from other big name companies in the area that I couldn't believe. Lucas came out to give me an estimate for siding repair and ended up taking care of the problem that day in about 30-45 minutes. He was kind, courteous, and professional. I still can't believe he didn't charge me for the repair. I will forever refer anyone and everyone with roofing/siding/gutter needs to Roofman USA and will be a repeat customer myself!

Also, the estimator (whom I believe was the owner's son) was very kind and available to answer all our questions, without any condescension or indifference. After the install, which took about 1-1/2 days, there were a few items I had mentioned that were overlooked, and when I contacted the owner, instead of being met with indignation (as I expected), I was met with compassion and understanding. The items were remedied within a few days. Everything looks great! No more leaking roof. -------------------------------------- On a side note, my neighbor (weeks later) said she saw many nails in her driveway, and when she said something to the workers, they were really rude. She said the next day there were food rappers and more nails in her yard/driveway, and said she ended up with a roof nail in her tire with a flat. I emphatically apologized to her but there wasn't much more I could do. I also later found 2 cigarettes (one smoked and the other whole) in my attic, and have found nails here and there for weeks now. For these last few reasons, I could not offer a 5-star rating, and almost put 3 stars, but 3 would not be indicative of the overall quality, which is more important to me from a roofer than attitude--though if everyone had an attitude similar to the owner's son, 5 stars would be an easy rank. Overall, the experience was good, but not great, though I would recommend them over others. I would only advise that every detail be written down, and that the owners have a little more oversight on their daily crews, just for quality (and attitude) control.

Four weeks after the quote and we still had no communication with this company unless we called ourselves, and even then we got the voicemail 9 times out of 10. When someone did answer, they gave us a new excuse every time. Apparently our job wasn't worth the money, and instead of canceling on us or keeping their word they just ghosted us. Our roof could've been fixed much sooner with the company we actually went with in the end and it would've prevented further damage. Shame on these guys.

No hidden costs. Installation was fast, efficient and safe. No nails all over the ground afterward. Through the years, we recommended Diversified to friends and family, who were all as equally impressed. When we moved 10 years ago and the house needed a new roof, we knew exactly who to call. When our neighbor saw the quality of the work that was performed and how well, they also used Diverisfied!

Dominic did a complete inspection before telling us our options. He walked around on the roof and took photos. He did not try to talk us into any upgrades, but we decided since the roof was old, we'd ask for the shingles and any decking to be repaired. We decided we wanted the medium excellence option. We also asked for attic blown-in insulation, new gutters, and gutter shields. Dominic told us they'd put in some attic vents. In the end, they took it down to the rafters! As we had to be away when they started, Dominic was in touch with us on the phone or by email every step of the way, and answered every question. Roof Advance gave our little old house the boost it needed! It looks great, and, we have peace of mind knowing that we won't have to climb up to clean the gutters any more. They even gave us a senior discount, which we were not expecting. Their requested deposit wasn't a lot of money. They have an easy way to pay by e-check, or by credit card online.
