I reached out to him (not too easy b/c his voice mail box is permanently full) a over a year ago to do a small inside job. He said, sure thing and he'd get back to me when the weather turned. A year went by with no word from Dan. This fall I reached out to him (via email) about the previous job and additional job I needed, as well as asking him if he was still in business. His reply was, "I'm still in the game" and promised to call me in a day, and, of course, that never happened. I'm not wasting any more time on this irresponsible guy, but I thought it the right thing to warn others.

This experience with Service Relief did not go well and still isn't fully resolved…read more First I called several weeks ago to schedule what I thought would be a minor job. No call back after a full week. I finally schedule service and the first service tech is unable to resolve the issue and says he will need to order parts. I get a date when they will come back and end up with a service tech that replaces the faucet and shower head and leaves me with a dripping shower faucet and a hole in the wall that I tells me I need to get an access cover with no real details. He also tells me that since they can't replace the fixtures in my bathroom sink I need to purchase a new vanity and faucet. Mind you over the several days that it took to come out the second time these items could have been ordered and at my home or ready for pick up. On the scheduled day of the third appointment I get a call as I am leaving work to get home for the service that indicates the service tech has an emergency and can't make it. On the fourth day I get several calls from scheduling about where to pick up the items I ordered and then finally requesting the order number. Two techs arrive to install the new vanity and faucet. During the install they started talking about me or another customer while in my bathroom. After all this they try to convince me that my shower faucet isn't leaking and then say if it starts to they can come back. In addition after they left I found two of my towels balled up on the floor wet and with debris in them. They never asked to use these towels for this purpose. My shower faucet is still dripping. At least I have new fixtures and a new vanity.

Dennis came to our home, charged us approximately $175.00 for an estimate. The repair work is quite a bit of work and costly, we are well aware. He reassured me his company could do the repairs and even continue to service our boiler. After receiving the estimate, I called and left Dennis a message on October 23, 2017, to have Broad Brook come do the repair work. As of November 14th, 2017 I have yet to hear from Broad Brook. I can't say I am impressed with this company. I definitely feel Dennis had no intention of seeing through with the repair work.

I will stick with Veniskofsky Plumbing and Heating in Vernon. Hello Laura, It was a pleasure speaking with you yesterday and I truly appreciate your offering assistance while Tony is incapacitated. This said, I should have been advised, in advance, of your flat rate billing practices. I loyally work with a lot of contractors, as Tony can attest, and understand that practices vary greatly. My guard was down. Nevertheless, I feel compelled to share with you that I would not have had Allen do the repair if I had known that there was an $89 charge for the 10 minute diagnosis and then the $115 pump would be marked up 250% to $291. When backing the cost of the pump out of the 90 minute job cost we are at a $185/hr labor rate. These are practices akin to those of Aiello, that I avoid and warn people against. In all fairness, I cannot take issue and voice my displeasure to others without first sharing with you. Thus this email. Stay well and all the best to you and Mark, Bruce
