We found this incredible service online, and in the middle of the night, they came to our aid. From the moment they arrived, they showed immense compassion, tenderness, and respect, not just for Lulu, but for our entire family. Saying goodbye was one of the hardest things we've ever had to do, but because of their kindness and care, we were able to give Lulu a peaceful and loving farewell. The support they provided before, during, and after was beyond anything we could have hoped for. You never got the hands on, one-on-one, personal experience that you'll get at the Cat's Meow. They have an in-house kitty who has 3 legs. They told me he was found on the street after a bad attack by another animal, and they took him in and nursed him back to health, which involved his amputation. He's been there ever since. That speaks volumes to the kind of people who work here: true cat people.

They were very direct about the state of our sweet girl and helped us make the very tough decision to put her down. They were very kind and reasonable through it all. For $5, we got a clay paw print of Winnie's. We were shocked when we received the kindest card that next week, where every employee had written something nice in tribute to Winnie. I would recommend Lilac again and again.

All of our pets have been loved and treated like family. Went to fill out paperwork for adopting a cat, but they wouldn't let us have one as we would let it outside. Really? Our cat cat goes outside, roams the fenced backyard, does her outside business and comes back. They wouldn't let us adopt because we already have an indoor/outdoor cat? When we went to their space on Trent, it seemed as if most of their cats had "kitty colds" and were told it was going around the facility. I commend the idea of animal foster parents, but they seem a bit rigid. They didn't even try to get to know us. Good job driving away responsible owners. Good luck to all the future cat ladies.

And if an animal is cute and draws lots of sponsors they won't tell the donors when it gets adopted. They'll milk that puppy or kitten for all it's worth, never telling anyone it's been adopted for the last year. They avoid taking animals to the vet for necessary things, even if the animal is in pain. They don't like to spend money on the animals. And I've personally seen them leave the vaccines on top of the refrigerator all day long and then go ahead and use them. (Once the vaccines reach room temperature they are no longer effective. They MUST be kept refrigerated.) And volunteers steal microchips and vaccines for their own pets. All around a dishonest, unethical group.

I couldn't find a vet that could take him same day to check him out. And, no way of knowing reputable vets in the area. Pet Vet got him in quickly and recommended blood work to start off. His tox levels were good but very high white blood cells which indicated infection, and a slightly distended stomach. Dr Udy (sp?) suspected he ate something bad so she recommended antibiotics, probiotics and fluids, and he hung out there a few hours for observation. I picked him up later, and she came out to talk to me. She, and the whole staff could not have been nicer. She also spent quite a bit of time removing the CRUST from his nose. I didn't know it could even come off, and it was looking terrible. Now it looks "brand new" I appreciated that so much, you have no idea. Now, of I wish the bill could have been cheaper. I was not under any illusion about that. We went home with several medications and he's doing just fine now. I highly recommend Pet Vet. If I lived in Spokane Valley they'd be my vet.

The management expects patients to read and understand text communications and will scold you for calling or visiting the office in person. Example: We sent you a message there was no reason for you to call or come to the clinic. It is widely known Lincoln Heights has the worst reputation for service. They pride themselves degrading other vets. The manager is a bully and the reception team are Lazy, spoiled and entitled. Hold your nose. They stink

He isn't big on people, but he didn't have a dislike towards them and wasn't scared when entering the office. They allowed the curiosity and didn't try to restrict him to a table outside of the exam, and didn't try to force him into the crate. Definitely enjoyed how helpful they were and how open minded they were to everything. Even though they misinterpreted a couple things I had said, and encouraged things I knew to be unnecessary at the time, they were helpful with the problem at hand.
